 but - I think I belong on that boat too~ I don't consider it love after the fact~ (it's hard to explain)
I love my friends and family - don't get me wrong~ but I cannot say I've ever felt love for any one other person entirely~ maybe even partially.... lol after it is over, after the initial like-phase, or the emotional/growth-stage
in fact~ I seldom use the "L" word in relationships to begin with~ It feels dishonest to just say it back and forth~ like so many couples do~ I have ASC sq Uranus and Uranus cnj Venus
Venus semisq Mars-Pluto, exact to SN opp NN/Vesta ~ - whether any of that plays any importance in my inability to *fall* I don't know. I just ~ recognize ~ that in the past I was an extreme self saboteur when it came to my relationships, and I had a trillion and one emotional hangups~ (psychologically rooted in my twisted early years). But, even as I matured I think it is a bit Sagittarian-Uranian influenced that I can't simply lie to others who expect me to love them~ I do have a tendency to push away from anyone/anything that restricts me, or in some way has expectations I feel they obligate me to fulfill wrongly. So, yeah -no
- while I can love a place, art, animal, child, parent, best friend, coworker, celebrity~ I have yet to -fall in love- whatever that is~ <3
(probably made little sense ^ that's what happen when I let Ura-Venus talk for me)~

I say Venus in tenth with a bad aspect to Saturn is a good indication and inclination toward a certain chill, especially if it is ascendant ruler. Ascendant is the personality. IP: Logged |

If I use equal house signs, I have this! Venus in Aries square Saturn in Capricorn. I want to fall in love but I'm not sure I can. It feels like there's an invisible barrier there. Like SaturnineMoth mentioned, I won't say it if I don't mean it. IP: Logged |

I know a Venus quincunx Saturn person who just could not seem to fall in love. They also had Moon-Saturn aspect [a trine though, it didn't make it any easier for them]. Venus Retrograde also seems to contribute to a hard time opening up and letting your feelings out. Just a harder time in love. Family members have this. They seem to have a hard time letting go when they are even a bit attracted to someone... they are either too introverted or too prideful [one has Venus in Scorpio]. IP: Logged |

The square in my natal is from earth to fire as well. Saturn in Taurus to Venus in Leo. I think it dashes a lot of the warmth promised by Venus in Leo.
