Pieces, ruled by Neptune, the planet dealing with secrecy, deception and confusion, is the type of manipulator that catches you off guard and leaves a lasting wound, wondering how naive you were the whole time to their actions.

Scorpio is of course manipulative, but it's ruled by Pluto, so at least you expect it. Pluto can deal with death, power, and obsession. Plutonic people use manipulation to gain control, power, and to cope with their obsessions.

With Pisces the manipulation is much more subtle, more confusing, and by the time you realise you are being used it's too late. The sad thing is that most Pisces placements don't even recognize that they do it, since they like to play the martyr.

No hate to either! I just deal with realism.

This is interesting actually. I know this is about scorpio/pisces and which one is the better manipulater...but i have a Mars in Pisces aspecting Pluto in my chart, wouldnt that make mars strong and manipulative all together? Same case with for instance, a mars in scorpio aspecting neptune?

Despite me having a pisces placement, i always thought manipulation was necessary to get what you want. Usually im really good at it, but with that i tend to get this sense of superiority, or better yet, the need to compete, so i tend to project a certain image.

I got 5 planets in either Pisces or Scorpio. I don't consider myself a manipulator at all AND I hate to manipulate anyone! But perhaps what you said here is right - maybe I just don't know I'm being manipulative.... haha

I don't know you, but I do know Neptune is confusing and deceptive to the natal person as well. Almost all the Pisces people I know can't stomach the thought of hurting another person or being a manipulator. Yet, they do.

My mother is a Pisces sun, and has a Pisces heavy chart. She has an incredibly kind heart, very self sacrificing, unselfish, and hates hurting people she loves. However, she is the master at manipulation and deception, but she doesn't realize she does it. I confronted her about how much her manipulation had hurt me, and she claimed it never happened (she didn't remember, indicating confusion/secrecy on her part) but then later cried and apologized *if* she did hurt me. I had a Pisces ex who realized he was deceptive to me, and he broke down and cried. However, he is still committing the same deceptions in his current relationship.

My experience with Scorpios is that they are genuine, but when they are manipulative or deceptive they usually acknowledge it after the events have played out. There's no confusion. They don't want to hurt people, but if they have been wronged they have a toxic sting.

The key is self awareness. If you can break the fog and rose colored glasses of Neptune, then you can become more aware of your actions. I find that strong Saturn placements help hinder Neptune as well. Saturn is harsh reality, hard work, and overcoming obstacles.

For reference, I have Neptune conjunct Sun, so I resonate with Pisces suns.

Hm interesting @ Mergoatsun!

I have never been in a situation where someone confronted me of being a manipulator... And like your mom, I honestly don't know if I have been a manipulator?? Just to clarify, manipulating someone is for one's benefit... Am I understanding this correct? If so, I have never manipulated anyone for my own benefit.

I have Capricorn Neptune that sextiles my Pisces stellium, and Scorpio Saturn that squares this stellium too. I'd say I am more self disciplined than wishy-washy, and thrive to be righteous and just. To be honest, I don't "feel" that I fit the typical Pisces qualities I read on here... But again, I don't know how others see me haha

So YellowGerbera and I have very similiar charts. I am heavily Pisces and Plutonian myself but I'm not manipulative. I'm very "what you see is what you get". I'm honest and real and I'm the last person to use people to get what I want.

And it's not because I don't know whether or not I'm being manipulative, it really is because I don't do anything to manipulate anyone. I don't even think I know anyone who's manipulative. I don't surround myself with negative people, especially those who use others.

I can see how Neptune and Pluto would get that stereotype but just because someone has them in their chart does not automatically guarantee that they're like that.

I read once that plutonian people ( selfish) are drawn to neptunian people ( selfless). This was how it was stated too.

I have a scorpio like moon and a neptune type venus. Dark erotic energy meets romantic dreamy lala land : >

No not at all, it just gives you the ability to see threw people at their depths and not afraid to go to their depths with kindness and compassion because you can sense\empathize with their pain.
