favorite: sun conjunct venus, with the female as sun; and pluto conjunct venus for the passion.

least: mercury square/opposite venus .. it makes communication very hard and unempathetic between romantic partners

So, I'm guessing sun square venus IF in a relationship could mean the sun isn't flattered by the way venus expresses its admiration.. maybe they aren't familiar with it.

if not in a relationship, they probably annoy each other and would not socialize together...

I love Venus conjunct Pluto. I don't know if it's the healthiest aspect but it feels good

Come to think of it, I don't think I'd like Saturn conjunct Mars either. A sextile or trine between Saturn and Mars might be alright. Good even. But the conjunction... Seems like it might be too harsh and controlling.

Yeah I find it's kind of a separating aspect in a way - hard to get on the same page which is really no good as far as romance goes. And yes, there's a weird element of control present too.

My parents have Saturn-Mars conjunction both ways, plus Saturn-Venus conjunction and a wide Saturn-Venus trine.
They seem to manage.

(My Mum has Capricorn on the cusp of her 7th and 8th house though; and my Dad has Saturn conjunct his ASC - plus Mars is his 8th house ruler, conjunct her 7th and 8th house ruler, which is Saturn; and Saturn rules his 5th house and Venus rules her 5th house. So said SAturn aspects also make strong house ruler connections).

True. House ruler synastry trumps everything. Even if two planets don't go well together in theory, if they rule the 5th, 7th, or 8th houses in both the partners natal charts, it changes the meaning of the aspect quite a lot. Mars rules my 5th house, so I suppose if a guy had Saturn ruling the 5th or 7th house conjunct my Mars it could actually increase the attraction between us... If Saturn in his chart ruled a less exciting house, like the 6th for instance, then I'd probably find the aspect more bothersome.

I agree.

I do think however that the original meaning is not lost; even though SAturn plays a role in their 5th, 7th, 8th houses, it will still be Saturn. But since Saturn rules these houses, they actually need or feel attracted to that Saturnian vibe, and that might set the aspect apart from how others might experience it.

For me a Mars-Saturn-aspect could never bring the same (and I don`t especially like it), as Mars rules my 4th and Saturn my 2nd house.

However, Mercury aspects are so much more romantic and lovely to me than other people, and not necessarily platonic, as my Gemini DESC suggests that I am attracted to that mental Mercurial vibe and seek it out in relationships.

My absolute favorite synastry aspects are:

1. Moon conjunct Moon (great emotional rapport that flows naturally

2. Moon conjunct Venus (This aspect is soooo super surreal. However, it can have a bad side too. It makes you forgiving of the other person, like, you don't even get mad at them. Thats bad when the rest of the synastry is bad!)

3. Mercury conjunct Mercury (communication communication communication all day every day so in tune can finish each other's sentences conversations for hours on end aaaahhhhhhh I LOVE IT!!!!)

4. Sun trine Sun the two people are in tune with each other and see the world the same way. Love this aspect! Had with two Aquarius women and they were some of the best women I dated!

5. Venus conjunct Neptune...... . ....... .... This aspect right here... Soulmates, twinflames whatever you want to call it. This aspect makes your love feel otherworldly and surreal.

6. Moon Sextile Neptune is emotional intuitive rapport....... its a very beautiful aspect!

7. Sun conjunct Mars HOLY MOLY you want to rip the clothes off of them the moment you meet if they are your physical type!

ASPECTS I DON'T LIKE

Sun square Sun - You just don't get each other period (unless the rest of the synastry is good). Waaaaay too much time spent having to explain yourself over the most menial **** . Its sooooo fcuking irritating!

Mercury square Mercury - No understanding. Just more of the same drive-you-up-the-wall misunderstandings ALL THE TIME. You don't see eye to eye on anything and the two will compete in conversations. That is just gotdarn madness!

Saturn conjunct Asc - You never feel like you can be yourself around this person. YUCK!

Moon square Sun - More out of tune BS with this one! Its like you two are from different worlds and the Moon always gets their feelings hurt even if it isn't intentional on the Sun's part!

Mercury square Moon - Same as above. Mercury's way of communicating hurts the Moon. The Moon is too emotional for Mercury.

------------------
Gemini Sun
Libra Moon
Gemini Mercury
Cancer Venus
Virgo Mars
Virgo Asc

And yes, I'm a guy!
