What up y'all, I wanna make this topic strictly about persona charts. Feel free to interpret yours as much as you want to and any thoughts you have about them. I personally think they add further needed insight to the human personality, and they prove that there's more inside of us than a Sun-persona (usual birth chart). What y'all think?

I have no idea how to read persona charts, since each one shows the persona for a specific planet. Kind of confusing. Wish I knew more about it.

Yeaah I wonder why astrologers don't look at persona charts. I think it can really show the condition of the planet and the depth of the person.
Like not every person with a moon or venus in a certain sign will be similar.
I know in vedic astrology they have charts for every single house. (1st house being the natal chart etc)
Thats pretty in depth

astro.com says the p-chart of the natal ruler is the most important... technically I got 2 since natally I'm Scorpio rising (Mars/Pluto). And Venus conjuncts Mars, so for me that's an important persona too. Which brings up a question-do you think we really behave like our natal chart ruler's persona chart most of the time? Like an Aries rising usually expressing his Mars chart or a Cancer rising usually expressing her Moon chart, for example.

I think they're alright but that in general they aren't really necessary. All it really does is keep dividing a person up into parts, and then after that, even smaller parts...

Really the person is the working whole (the main natal chart). If you want to zone-in on a specific planet and examine that, then they serve a purpose but as far as getting an entire read on a person as one entity, a persona chart is useless.

I read thatttt a persona chart is when the person is acting that planet, aka assuming that planet's persona. Like, if I tried to home in on my Mercury and use/develop those skills, then the persona chart for Mercury is sorta like the active chart compared to natal.

To StacyLewis:
Yeah i get that the birth chart fully describes the ego/individuality of each person, but at the same time too that chart traces back to ONLY the natal Sun, just like the Mars p-chart traces back to ONLY the natal Mars and so on. So in my opinion, the "working whole" is just the raw person himself composed of multiple inner personas for different life situations-including the Sun persona (natal chart). For a couple examples, I could behave my natal chart when my ego's stroked and I wanna shine in my psychological "spotlight" lol, my Moon-persona where I feel most emotionally secure like at home with family, and my Ascendant-persona maybe very often since it fully colors the self-image to the world and constant outlook on life. As long as you know the theme of whatever p-chart you're looking at, I think it's reasonable that the other a get their own life stories, too. Just addin my 2 pennies...

I am very "Mercury" and even more "Uranus" so are those the charts I should read?? But then again, I am kinda Venus in 12H....and Moon sq Pluto....and OH!!! The best one!! I am super Mars sq Neptune (this is a bad aspect btw)!!! And then Jupiter sits on top of whole chart which I guess magnifies it all?! So, I am the whole bloody zodiac wheel?? I knew I was confuzzled for a reason :-/

In a recent thread people found that they resonated very strongly with their Moon Persona chart.
To me it makes much sense to read the Moon Persona chart especially as complimentary chart to the natal chart, as the natal chart is the Sun Persona chart.

Do you know what I mean or have I lost you witht he last sentence?

However any other Persona chart of course will ber elevant as well, in giving a detailed view on a particular planet (or asteroid or angle) in the natal chart.

For example if I want avery detailed view on how my attitude tow. relationships is, IŽd look at the Venus Persona chart.
Of course it gives very vital informations how it is placed in the natal chart to begin with. In Capricorn / 1st house square Pluto on MC.

But my Venus Persona also gives some more detailed insights. (well in my case it is boring, taking place just 10 days after my birth, and thus having a STellium of Sun, Mercury and Venus in Capricorn with Venus opposite Saturn in 7th hous, and a Sag ASC and Mars in 12th house, like in natal, along with Neptune and NN, which is in 1st house in natl though).

So in my case the Venus Persona chart just emphasises the Saturnian theme of my Venus as is visible in natal anyway. ("blessing" it with a square to Chiron, which is not present in natal though).

My Pluto chart fits me very well in my regular personality, since Pluto's my natal ruler-and it's conjunct my natal Asc. It shows a Sagittarius Asc, with Sun, Merc and Pluto in the 12th house in the same sign. Thinking about it, I spend a lot of time in solitude (H12) constantly transforming (Pluto theme) my meaning of life into something better and better (sag sign). And the moon is in Aries in the 5th house in this chart, showing that lettin loose and having fun is another important way for me to transform in life. Natally I have Saturn in the same sign and house, so maybe what Pluto's teaching me in this chart is that I need to just lighten up. So damn true-when I'm just being me and not letting my ego get in the way, I feel a sense of rebirth every time, and that equals tons of rebirths because I like having fun lol. But when I'm too concerned with trying to not mess up, that's where that natal Saturn shows its colors. This chart really sticks out to me personally (even though Pluto's generational). Anybody else feel this way about their personas?
