So Venus in Scorpio is drawn to intensity (unsettling intensity for some) and clarity. It appreciates darkness, deepness, richness, piercing brightness, and experiences of truth which stir one's soul in its depths. It is repulsed by superficiality, ignorance, lack of connection, and weak commitment. When experiencing their world, the quality of their environment it vivid and deep, vaguely dangerous and full of opportunities for deep, lasting, and meaningful metamorphosis. The world often tests our emotions and forces us to appreciate the truth beyond what is placed in front of us. Our experiences of the world develop in us values of honesty, commitment, sacrifice, comprehension, understanding, devotion, and appreciation of what can not be seen or described, only experienced.

Mars is our cause, our will, and the reason driving our actions. If Venus is what our eye is drawn to when we look out into the world, then Mars is about how we acquire those attractive things and what we want to do with them.

So Mars in Scorpio has within it a deep and calculating force, waiting for the right moment to strike into action. It acts with a strength which is built upon the principal of only revealing the cards that matter and observing with intense detail, the most effective way to win the game. Scorpio Mars longs, yearns, and aches for the beautiful things they have yet to understand or win. Like a dragon in a trove of treasure, their accomplishments can pile up like cherished jewels to be guarded. When challenged, Mars in Scorpio may display their stinger as a warning, or even strike the challenger at its weakest point. Some may flee into the shadows, only to emerge when the challenger least expects to find a stinger burred deep in their back. Even playfulness can be filled with love bites and affectionate stings. Where some may feel winning is the road to metamorphosis, it is the process of both winning AND losing which truly brings about greatness.

very poetic and well said!

"Super intense but Scorpio venus seems like it would go better with a go getter Mars. I have an article on this as I had a Scorpio venus friend with a Libra mars and he seemed like he could not move to satisfy his Scorpio Venus. The Scorpio Mars is a go getter, so he can satisfy the Scorpio venus. That is my 2 cents, anyway"

Thanks AA!

It is sort of a dual thing, the Venus part will sit and brood, the Mercury portion is the part that does move and all of the "uhhm" other things.

I do, I have Gemini ASC. Moon in Scorpio alone is enough to rattle the nerves of Gemini let alone Venus AND Moon in Scorpio.

Venus in Scorpio is all engulfing emotionally, Mars is all engulfing sexually.

The Mars in Scorpio I seriously dated a few years ago was quite intense and full on, the Venus one I dated for a short while (2 months) was possessive but didn't have such a heavy energy.

With mars, if they set you in their sights, they pursue with extreme determination while the Scorpio Venus is more private imo.

I date more Scorpio moons (have dated 3) haha and only liked the last guys energy, the other two were too controlling.

Mars is correct.

Funny thing is the whole "Scorpio in Jupiter is the bad boy/girl placement"

Doesn't ring true for my life anyway.

Could not lead a troop of cub scouts for ice cream.

Do have Venus Conj Mars as well...my chart is..uhm..interesting.

Yes, you learn certain placements that just won't work with you. I think I could take a Scorpio moon that was an exact trine to my cancer Moon. I had this with one guy and one woman( not together :grin )

I love moon trine moon the best of anything, in synastry. Scorpio Venus is too intense for me. I have a gemini stellium in the 9th and am not that intense, I guess.

The second Scorpio moon met me in one my lectures when I came in late and had to sit at the back. We started chatting and later on when he got my number he used to bombard my phone full of texts. It was like he couldn't get his head around the fact I just met him, I wasn't his gf and that I couldn't just reply to texts straight away because I had a life. He had a problem with me hanging out with other guys and said he needed a girl to shower him with affection nd tell him 'I love you' straight away or he'd feel insecure.

This guy was a Pisces, I felt suffocated so we only went out a few times.

What I've found is (based on my experience) Scorpio moons are most intense, Venus plays the most games, mars is the most open and flirty.

I dated a rising for approx 6 months and I could hardly see the Scorpio side much, only sometimes in his eyes. He told me he's usually aloof but wasn't like that at all with me, He showed his soft side pretty much straight away.

Charlie sheen is a Scorpio mars! Enough said.

I think he isn't attractive and he's not charismatic nor super tall but he has a way with women.

So moons are most insecure and paranoid, Venus likes to play the most games, mars is most sure of himself and confident out of the three.

Well, true, to a point, it sounds like he was just insecure, but interested.

With time one learns it is better to get to know someone (see smoldering) that one is attracted to before doing all of that stuff.

What does surprise a bit is usually Scorpios are really good at catching a clue, could be a glance or a missed text or whatever and usually "we" get it.

That's where I gotta differ with ya Luckily I'm an Aries. If he were to swoop me up...oh baby! I love that passion and intensity, sexually anyway. I don't know if I would care for it in a fight mainly because Scorpio means to wound when he fights. Aries just wants to be understood ('cause we're just little lamb chops you know.)

What gandhi was one of the most captivating individuals that has ever existed. I also read somewhere he had an affair with an english nurse.
He may not be a male model but looks derive from genetics always.
I actually met indians that do not like Gandhi, they disagree with a lot of the things he did. Yet he was so enchanting he got away with it.
Anyways I've meet tons of unattractive Scorpios, Libras etc. They all were definitely likable!

I may have a similar chart to ghandi lol no really. Or hitler in some instances.

But ghandi has fixed t- square to Leo moon like me. Different planets. Same apex. Same house.

I have always felt it was wrong to serve another and it was injustice. But then some people actually need to do this as their life calling.. /shrug

Love your post, Xiiro

Hmmm not sure how to explain the differences beyond the basic love vs sex expression of Venus and Mars. Both vis and mis love, love making love but vis takes intimacy a bit more personally.

I've joked to my husband who is mis on whether we'd remain friends if we ever went our separate ways. He says sure, but you must still sleep w me because no one else is like you in that way. He is dead serious too. Where I as a vis could not and would not ever sleep w anyone I don't love. Doesn't matter if we loved once. Once it is over it is over. Mis it seems doesn't mind long as he gets his/hers.

^i bet he was just saying that. I agreed to that before but Scorpio mars has emotions connected to sex. (I was actually trying to win someone back through sex lol! stupid idea! Unless maybe it's another Scorpio mars lol!) Yes it's nice to still get laid but it turned into how many orgasms can u give me pretty fast.

Venus Scorpio protects, shields, doesnt let go completely till maybe 30 years later, if that lol "i own you" is their secret.

Mars Scorpio are the best manipulaters to get what they want, mysterious fighters cause its when you least expect the hit! can easily use sex as like knife under their pillow and the most protective of loved ones.

phoenixfire

i am a vis and will be going out with a mis. this is the first mis i ever met/dated.
is it true that mis matches the vis?
although ive never been able to date a scorpio...too much like a brother...
i find this mis guy very unique.
mind sharing any mis-vis uniqueness in your relationship?
is it really worth it?
because...i was once told that nobody could ever love like a vis...but, i wonder if mis is a good enough match for us, vis ladies.

I am finding it really difficult to extract one placement from another. Like for instance my bf has Mars in Scorpio but also Mars in the 8th house so I don't know if his sexuality is typical of Mars in Scorpio or if it's amplified because the planet of aggression is in the house of sex.

@ Sand, lol I don't know... Not to be arrogant but the spark he & I share is quite strong. Hasn't diminished one bit in the nine years we have been together. But yeah he is probably saying this now and it'd be a different story if we split up. I'm sure the attraction would remain always, but depending on the circumstances... Like if I leave him, the rejection would probably put a big damper on the attraction.

Hi hikoro,

Well my mis husband is also a cancer sun/Venus, which trines my Pisces moon & vis. I'm not sure, but think the Venus placement will channel how the energy of mars is directed. My husband is a big soft heart, very affectionate and very much requires a lot of attention & love.

If I start feeling distant, which does happen as my element is mostly fire, he begins to feel very hurt. My husband is very loyal & dedicated and passionate about what he loves (me & our kids).

He doesn't anger easily, but when he feels our family is in danger or something along those lines, the fury of Scorpio kicks in full force. He is nonsense, knows what he wants and goes for it. He knew that I'd be his wife from the time of our first date... Lol I wasn't convinced until much later.

He is my solid rock of strength, if the world went to hell, I know he'd protect me always. If we were to split up, I know it'd be because of me as honestly once Scorpio makes up their mind that's it... They are in it for the long haul unless something really bad like cheating or abuse factors in.
