i'm very touchy-feely. i'm always hugging on my friends and i just like to feel close.
conversely, with people i don't consider in my inner circle i try to keep quite a distance from. i don't like being touched by those who don't mean well... i hate fake sentiment.IP: Logged |

Taurus Moon 10H, Pisces Sun, Leo ASCI'm a touchy-feely kinda person. I love hugs, my hair being played with, unconcious touching (ie: touching somebody's hand or arm or face while talking) BUT it's only with people who I've allowed in my bubble that I like these things with. Otherwise, I have personal space that I like to keep. I make it very obvious who is/isn't allowed in my personal space and I'm not above defending it physically if necessary. Even at work, with co-workers there are some that I'll run up and give a hug and others that I'd like them to quit their jobs because they watch me dishing out affection to others and try to stand in line to be next, but don't get it when I pass them by. If I get a "creeper" vibe from somebody, they are forever cast in no-man's land for me. As a teenager I doled out hugs and kisses to all my close friends, always holding hands with SOMEBODY. I love affection, but only if it's given by somebody I want it from. IP: Logged |

Sag Sun, Libra Moon.I'm actually very affectionate (over-affectionate, probably. Pretty sure people think me and my best friend are girlfriends...) but people are only allowed to touch me AT ALL if I've initiated it first. Otherwise, people are not allowed to touch me. It's kind of a silly rule, but if I'm not comfortable with you touching me, I will not touch you. It's only fair. And I expect people to do the same. Otherwise I get rather uncomfortable. I don't even initiate handshakes most of the time. But once I give you a hug or something, you know that I trust you enough to touch me. IP: Logged |

Pisces Moon in the 12th and i need alot of space. I only hug certain people and I dont like hugging people I have no connection with. I also noticed my hugs are really quick I never let them linger. I have this one Aries friend whom I just started gettig close too and weve upgraded to hugs when we see each other, and she will hug you for at least 30 seconds I can tell she really likes to hug. Scorpio Moon - I don't really often hug or touch people. I think what bothers me is almost being forced to hug someone out of being polite, it almost makes me angry, not so much at the person but at me for not being true to myself. And on the other hand, there are times when I just randomly feel like touching someone like with all of my heart but I can't, I don't feel it would be lighthearted enough. So mostly I try not to.

I am not offended by even the most random expression of physical closeness, unless the person is a creeper or the touching is sexual or something. I never relate to people who "need" space. I tend to have lots of it as a loner initially, I don't mind if someone imposes on that unless they are super fricking annoying. Then again I think I am comfortable with this because Uranus makes no aspects to my personal planets, though it is in my 2nd house. Triple fire Sun, Moon, ASC. Taurus Mars IP: Logged |

Aries moon, 10H...I'm American, so the Euro greeting of kissing completely freaks me out. No matter how much I do it, I can't get used to it. There's something about our cheeks touching... I know some have no problem with it, but if I don't know them? It irks me. I can hug the crap out of a friend. I have one, a Leo Sun/Aries Moon (!!!), who I can walk up to and hug from behind if she's having a bad day, though it's always at collarbone level for platonic awesomeness. If I know you, and you fall in my comfort zone, all pretense of privacy is dead. I show affection by taking them all down. Intimacy is intimacy, with friends AND lovers. (Family I keep up some vague sense of pretense, but they're not really fooled.) When I went to see an old friend I hadn't seen in years, she told me to treat it like I was home. Her boyfriend figured out my MO when he walked into the kitchen and I'm in shirt, bra, and panties, rooting through their kitchen for leftovers from the previous night. In romantic situations, I'll chase and flirt, but if I have to initiate touch, then you're dead to my sex drive. I love it when a man hugs me first, is REALLY obvious physically. I had one guy hug me cheek-to-cheek, then held my hand. I don't know if he did it completely consciously; I think his eagerness spilled out. But I LOVED it; it was perfect. In fact, if I'm on a date with a man and he doesn't try to hold my hand the entire time, no matter how into me he is, I'm done with him. I'm affectionate towards those I care about - but generally I don't go around hugging everyone lol Cappy Moon - 7th!

soo... i couldnt help but notice that people in this thread are kinda stating the obvious when they say" i'm only affectionate with people i like or i'm comfortable with". lol isnt that something that goes without saying? i mean .. i have never met someone who goes around hugging people they dont like.

yeah - I was thinking the same thing.. But I did used to know a Gemini woman who literally went around hugging people she did not know well. She had an Aquarius Moon. I don't remember the rest of her chart.
She would also tell us stories - sometimes about people we don't know..
Like she came up to me once and she said: "OMG You won't guess what happened!! Tim asked me out!!!" and hugged me..
I was sitting with this other guy - He was a Leo lol.. and she left - so Leo guy was like: who is Tim?? and I was like: *shrug* NOOO idea!!

I am a Gemini Sun with Libra Moon (conjunct Pluto less than half a degree). I really like being affectionate with my family. With guys I only do handshakes for obvious reasons lol. With women I'm into, I try not to invade their personal space but I will try a little hand holding or even a smooch if the vibe is right. I also don't mind when women that are into me try to be physically affectionate. However, my only rule for women is, if I just met you, do not try to kiss me within minutes of meeting me! I'm a germaphobe and mono, herpes, and thrush give me the heebie jeebies lol. I was djing at a club years ago and this chick who was high on ecstasy bumped into and then kissed me on my lips! I thought she was just trying to hug me. That skeeved me out badly! ------------------

I'm a Scorpio moon and I need A LOT of personal space. I get edgy when I don't get enough of it or when I am with someone that doesn't understand that I just need it sometimes (I love my BFF to pieces but her Cancer moon does not seems to understand that I need my space lol!). For me its just a matter of needing time to reflect and get my thoughts in order. I have no problem with hugs or physical contact unless I don't know the person from Adam.IP: Logged |
