What you described above is related to House placement. IP: Logged |

How would you deal with Venus square Neptune? Wouldn't you agree this placement clouds one's judgment which is needed in order to make a change? IP: Logged |

With squares "mistakes have to be made" - they're unavoidable - and the challenge comes from "learning from those mistakes" - you fail once, twice... 3... or 5 times but eventually you learn to be more vigilant with above aspect - counting more on real life events than what you "imagine" it to be. It's kinda of a "sad" aspect from my point of view, cause once you overcome it - you tend to be less dreamy about your relationship - take it more as it is than "what it can be"... i kinda like that, so maybe that's just me. :3

Hm Hanna I think I'm a bit older than you so what I can say is it can be corrected, just don't be a defeatist/ realist, don't settle for "what it is", let ugly losers do this My view is that if you push a ton of idiots away life will give you decent stuff. Just be loyal to yourself and take what you want. So to say if life gives you lemons don't make lemonade just ditch them for other lemons to join them. If you take second rate you'll never get first rate And tell everybody else to be realistic of course, it's a world of equal opportunities Incidentally I owe you a tarot reading if you have any questions IP: Logged |

Hmmm interesting question, I'm thinking an aspect is the underlining energy but the choice is yours. I have Venus sextile Saturn, w Venus in the 11th close to the 10th house cusp. My Saturn also makes opposes my Moon, so yes older men have always been very attractive for me. However, I ended up marrying a man a couple years younger who has the personality/energy of an older soul, with lots of Pluto/Scorpio energy =) I get the best of both worlds, a mature/responsible soul within the confines of a young man's body IP: Logged |

What year were you born (if you don't mind saying/me asking)? Yes I've figured out the pushing away idiots part, lol. The problem is they seem to multiply once you do (not that I care. I'm an Aries afterall!) IP: Logged |

My Venus is semi sextile my partners Saturn. He is 8 years older than me, but I also have Venus in the 10th house, so that might explain why I am attracted to older men. I lost my virginity to a guy who was 6 years older than me. I was in a relationship and had a child with someone who was a year younger than me and I swore after that relationship I would never date younger or guys the same age as me(but I did!). Being a single mom dating guys with no kids and who were younger was sooooo annoying. IP: Logged |

No. I know people with Venus-Saturn who are with people that are around a year apart from them. Usually trines, though.Though having the opposition myself, I do have a much easier time with men a tad older than myself but I'm not talking silver foxes and men who were already grown when I came into this world. I also have my 7th house ruler in aspect with Saturn... IP: Logged |

I have Saturn square Venus and the only older person I have ever dated was a 24 year old when I was 15 (I know, classy. Don't ask lol).I think a more related problem for my dating career has been difficulty in finding people of my same maturity level. The guys I have dated tend to talk a good game in the beginning, but end up being less mature once the relationship progresses. My Sun and Venus are in the 8th, so perhaps I should start dating older.... cash in on some of that inheritance money my Venus seems to be owed. hehe IP: Logged |

Xiiro, now that you mention it...My Venus is in the 11th and Saturn is in the 7th, so I feel there's an extra emphasis on friends here. My friends in middle school at 13 were drinking and partying with guys in their late teens and mid-20's. One of my friends threatening to kill herself if she wasn't allowed to see her 23 year old "boyfriend" anymore. I was never involved in that however seeing as how I always wore peddle pushers and had a page boy haircut (awful) back then. But it's just a thought maybe our own aspects extend beyond ourselves sometimes. IP: Logged |

I have this aspect and being hit on by someone older is downright insulting to me. Even a year older, because as mentioned before: who the actual heck do they think they are XP IP: Logged |

Hell no. Its like dating your dad or grandad. Gross.Venus square Saturn imply that love may come later in life or that the person takes love very serious. IP: Logged |

andstuff's attitude is a book example of projection. It's quite entertaining to watch though so I can't wait for more quote: Originally posted by whaaat: I have this aspect and being hit on by someone older is downright insulting to me. I can understand that someone is not interested in older people (even if it's a ridiculous one year difference) but I don't understand the rage. If I was being hit on by a younger guy I'd just shrug. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I have natal Venus opp Saturn and capricorn descendant, I like older men.... even more than 10 year older. When I was 25 I was madly in love with a 55 yr old lol. Good that it didnt last, he is in his seventies now . But men in their fifties still attract me. Maybe when I will be older I will be a cougar IP: Logged |

I've venus square saturn. All of my partners have always been significantly older than me. I just don't get along (relationship wise) with those who are younger, try though I may. Even when I was a teenager I was spending time with adult women who were well into their 40's and 50's. IP: Logged |

Because it feels like women have less options. We're encouraged to like older men. We're conditioned to not go for looks, not be shallow etc, while men are told not to settle for anything less than perfection even if they themselves are the real life incarnation of Peter Griffin. My personal rage comes from being bombarded with the idea that an ideal partner for me should be '3-10' years older, mature, settled (it always sounded like chasing after a walking resume). Venus conjunct here, I've actually been with younger, but they had Venus trine Saturn natally. I assess people from a distance before committing myself, I also don't play games, but then my Venus in Aquarius and moon trine Uranus is like "so you want to play a game? I'm up for the challenge" IP: Logged |
