No. I dont think so. Depends on the aspects, sign of the planets, and 7th house. I've known people with this aspect and they didnt date older women. IP: Logged |

I have Venus with NO aspects to Saturn and I like older mature men. O.o Venus in Taurus though.. So maybe that's why. IP: Logged |

No, I don't believe this aspect would necessarily play out in such a way... Venus has more to do with how we perceive beauty in others, but ourselves as well. which is why squares to like ASC are so hard for people to deal with - it makes one insecure about their appearance... Saturn and Venus square would make you struggle with the importance of your self image, and how we prioritize beauty in our lives, how we benefit from it or integrate our ideals on beauty into our lives... Saturn is about self-control and structure, order... If you have the square you may be more reserved with your own appearance I would think, maybe even uncertain of yourself at times... This article is quite interesting because it details others with the square and how they've managed to work around it, and make it fit into their lives and achieve success through it... because, Saturn after all is focused on succeeding, on making us overcome obstacles... Saturn Square Venus I have a semisextile between Saturn and Venus - Guess, you can say I've come to accept and work with what I got no matter how little it seems to me to be. heh But beauty in general is something I appreciate in all things - I have Venus in Sagittarius conjunct Uranus... opposite North Node. My Eros is conjunct Saturn --- I am greatly attracted to older men, and father-type figures... likewise I seem to attract them as well. My greatest age gap with a partner was 17 years! My last relationship and second most successful was with a man 10 years my senior... Appreciating maturity and beauty in another who is/represents someone aged/elderly would be a positive aspect (trine sextile conjunction of Venus and Saturn, or like this... even Eros/lvoe asteroid to Saturn)... it actually makes more sense how you feel towards older individuals with regards to the square's role... you are at odds with Saturn, and not able to find balance (opp may), so you have to negotiate (square) and work around it to resolve the negative influences... which in my humble opinion, will definitely have more to do with how you perceive Venusian ideals in yourself, not just others.

"love and attractions get run over with the rusty lawn mover with only pieces left to use your head instead" ~ venus square saturnThe person i knew with this aspect didnt get off on older women, but, this person was always worried about how he looked and smelled like. Also had the cleanest smoothest clothes on with his hair fixed perfect flawless face shaved 90% the time. And actual relationships? oohhh loord, he played it like a business contract REAL TALK, like who makes more and stable thats what he choose only. He didnt trust true love so he stays with a manipulating verbal abuser but down deep he feels he deserves it cause its part of the contract lol IP: Logged |

@Moth What do you mean by me being at odds with Saturn? I have seen this article before, and I think it's written by a defeatist idiot who is trying to be given credit for being late blooming scum. I'm not a late bloomer so there. All this fine wine crap is just used to persuade herself she's not a failure. I have mercury in the 7th and Gemini asc lol, chart ruler in the 7th. And an orb of 5 for the square. And Venus trine Pluto So I can't really see how I am similar to that old woman who wrote that article IP: Logged |

hold the chariot~I never said you were anything like someone who wrote the article - I said after reading the article and what the people included within had experienced with their squares - as in those actresses and models listed by the person writing the article not the author of the article themselves - that your sentiments made sense~ you said... above... quote: ve just been hearing this a lot, ESP that someone 5-10 years older is what's good for me but I just kind of... hate oldness and maturity?
you do not like older individuals --- that is what I said makes sense --- that is what I mean to say at odds in a sense with Saturn... as in Saturn represents aging... as lord of time~ But you seem to have misunderstood - which is quite fine, by me.. I am admittedly not the best for explanations... but i do wish to hep when I can... as everyone here has helped me infinitely more than I can ever repay... Disregard, the article and post if you'd like but you had asked for insight - I was simply giving mine... no harm no foul. If you don't like the author of an article or have some issue with them personally- fine.... but, I do not know this and cannot possibly know this beforehand (that wouldn't be rational to expect, given I don't know you, or them)... now I do... so I will not share any insight by way of reference with them for you again, seeing as it is such a bother... @mothI don't like older individuals when they display sexual/romantic interest in me. If a man is more than 2 years older and assumes I can get laid with him it insults me very much, like he considers me rejected by my league or something. As for friends and others well who cares what age they are IP: Logged |

Oh man! You worded that perfectly. I have Venus 11H square Saturn 7H and definitely relate to feeling this way. However I'm willing to bet it's more than a Venus square Saturn similarity. @Moth I relate a lot to that article! It is very hard to believe my own attractiveness, and I tend not to stick to people who simply like me for myself without me having to work for it. I always subconsciously either yearned to be part of the popular clique but thought I didn't "deserve" it, OR made myself the Girl Friday of my group of friends because they wouldn't invite me places otherwise (this is in middle school and part of high school.) I find the older I get the less f***s I give about these so called "friends" or that kind of person. It feels really good, and I notice I'm getting hit on more now than I ever did when I was younger! Although I admit I struggle with wondering if it's because their options are dwindling down or if it's really my own essence attracting them. I think Venus square Saturn was given responsibility at a young age without understanding that it was optional, and therefor grow up to blame themselves first before anyone else, and this provides or adds to an already low self-esteem (not saying everyone must have low self-esteem who has Venus square Saturn but that if they do, then the blame game Venus square Saturn unfolds only makes it worse). I have Aqua Venus Conjunct Cap Saturn, both in the 5th, and I'm mostly attracted to older men, like 5-15 years older. Guys younger than me are disqualified.------------------ Do you have some chocolate? IP: Logged |

The next description seems about right for this aspect:Venus square Saturn The square formed between Venus and Saturn shows difficulties in relationships. Because of this, you can be left out of the mainstream of social life sometimes. You have a melancholy disposition resulting in a shyness, or a formal and stiff manner of presenting yourself. You find it hard to meet people half way, perhaps because you fear rejection. A defensive attitude must be overcome. You have such a high degree of tension and anxiety that is hard for you to relax. I feel this way, but all of this can be overcome. I think this square simply denotes it will have to be a conscious effort to change. I also think some people bring out the less than desirable side effects of this aspect when interacting with someone who has it, worse than others. IP: Logged |

It's same as with any other square, it's all about practice - the more you deal with it the better you are at it... it's the only way to overcome a square - not an easy task, but your drawn in this position and you either deal with it or flee and prolong it.IP: Logged |

Not necessarily, it could imply a lot of things such as more distinguished or established partners, marriage later on in life, feeling as if love has to be earned, feeling as if you don't deserve love for whatever personal affliction you have/ It could even imply something more personal such as having a hard time developing a healthy self-esteem about yourself.IP: Logged |
