I don't know about violent but they're in for some needed reality checks, transit Saturn conjunct their Pluto (Scorpio) + transit Pluto conjunct their Neptune (Capricorn). There's a sacrificial lamb for their generation, Jyoti Singh Pandey, 23 when she died in December.Additional action with some having Saturn, Uranus, or Neptune opposed Chiron, squaring transiting Uranus. Then some have had transit Pluto opposing their Chiron for the potential for great pain from being made aware of their problems. Those with natal Jupiter in Cancer need to be watched as Pluto Capricorn opposes it, it's one combination for choosing illegal/harmful actions as a quick fix to a tough problem, or being embroiled in such as fate/destiny. Late 1989 looks particularly rough, especially for those with the Sun/Mars conjunction in Libra. Late 1989 has the natal Saturn/Neptune conjunction opposed to Jupiter/Chiron. Obviously I could go on..they have a lot of tension built in with the influence of the outer planets by sign/aspect as well as the inclusion of Chiron but everyone has to grow up sometime. #happybeingplutoinlibra The group that interests me are those born in 1994 and what they have coming in 2020. I have a cousin born that year so I'll be watching him. IP: Logged |

I feel times have changed. A lot of people dont see as clearly as they should. All sorts of new things are coming to the front. Remaining positive or optimistic has dissappeared into the background and is not encouraged enough. There is way too much going on around us and its hard to look into ourselves and focus.I really hope people remain strong internally and pull through. There is too much garbage out there cutting us off from things that actually matter. IP: Logged |

i wanna second what SM said in the other thread. i can relate cos i'm also of the pluto in scorpio generation. transit wise uranus is just starting it's new cycle of the zodiac. so even though it seems like drastic change now, hopefully the younger generations will be the ones to bring about greater technological advances than we can currently imagine, if you think about how quickly things have advanced in that direction already. it is a gift and a curse, how we use or abuse it, is it gonna distract us or inform us...chain us or free us...uranus pluto have been in cahoots manifesting a lot of chaos and destruction, for us to rebuild something better... pluto in cap is changing our attitudes about material "things" hopefully for the better, but not before a lot of what we have already built, even current society structures have been transformed...that squaring aggressive change from uranus in aries...hence what what we have seen over recent years- rioting the world over while the establishment cling to their power via their old tricks, war and oppression, which hopefully aren't going to work for much longer. 'one of the main results of the current Uranus/Pluto cardinal squares is a battle between these past and future paradigms' great article on it here: http://www.alanoken.com/newsletter/Aug11_C.htm

There's violence in all generations, trying to peg the up coming ones as "The Violent Generation", doesn't make sense to me. The kids who started off the school shooting trend were from Pluto in Libra, Saturn in Libra generation; I won't even get into all the serial killers and mass murderers in the past who come from the earlier generations like Pluto in Virgo, or Pluto in Leo... Trying to single this generation out as especially violent isn't even accurate. Let's be real here, people in general are violent. So no I don't feel like I can look down my nose at them and pin that title on them cuz there's plenty whackadoos from my generation and the ones that came before me too - if I did, I'd be engaging in hypocrisy. ^ Even the 60's with civil rights. Very chaotic and dark. I mean it appears pleasant and simple on the outside, but they had their own global demons to deal with. I think this generation is very straightforward and open minded. Which is a good thing, I'm actually excited for the future I do think there needs to be a bit more compassion, but I've noticed how aware people are becoming!IP: Logged |
