I don't think Venus/ASC alone could indicate that. Actually Venus/DSC conjunction is said to be very good for marriage, even moreso than with ASC.
What's important in synastry is the angles conjunctions and angle/planet conjunctions. For example: ASC/IC conjunction; ASC/DSC conjunction; ASC/Sun, IC/Venus, etc, etc. So obviously ASC or DSC conjunct Venus is a strong aspect. Trine and sextile, to a lesser degree.

Astro keen, Can you feel the Pluto/Saturn/Moon T-square? That doesn't look good, but the Moon orbs are wide. What it makes me think of, is deep feelings and hard to control emotions. They can get negative easily, especially if there are trust issues and jealousy involved.
But Moon trine Venus is lovely!
It's a great aspect to have. Makes people feel good with each other (unless other factors undermine this influence).
Jupiter conjunct Mars can make you feel more alive with that person, plus add the Sun conjunct Mars and there's probably lots of physical chemistry going on. Sun/Mercury is good for communication and understand each other. How does the 12th house emphasis play out? Is it a secret relationship or..? It seems the relationship has a very good effect on the guy's sense of well-being: the composite ASC falls on his Jupiter and some of the composite Virgo planets seem to conjunct his own personal planets in Virgo. The only thing that "bothers" me is that the 7th, 8th houses are empty. Moon is in the 5th which could make this relationship more of a (short or not so short) romance and not really a lasting, marriage-like relationship. Venus in 1st is great though, plus it's the ASC ruler and well-aspected. Looks good!

But its a great synastry aspect to have to make sure the partners wont cheat!! lol Right? since Venus/ASC is such'a beautiful body image sexy aura sensuality physical aspect, that would sure keep me interested!
