My sister-in-law whose NN is around yours is such a great person. The Virgo SN makes her admirably meticulous, but then as she heads for the Pisces NN, she is learning about Buddhism (understatement...she is very well-versed on it), yoga, Ayurveda. She thought of going to school for theology.

When I mentioned this to her, she was like, "Oh I thought all Libras do this kind of thing?" Well not that I know of.

I'm really curious...can you tell us more how you see it playing out for you?

Niiiiiiice!!!!! I wonder if Hugo's life was a way for him to break the cycle of reincarnation?

The way I see this nodal journey is a mellowing over time and great inner peace that develops. It's definitely a calming Node. Life starts out full of energy and excitement. Too much energy scattered in every direction only to end up in a state of calm introspection in adulthood without nearly as much energy. I find myself susceptible to hypnotic states full of relaxation just by driving a car or listening to music or both at the same time. I have hypnotism and daydreaming issues.

The ruler of my node, Neptune, is a singleton and opposite the moon which I think has influences this position since Neptune trines the Node. It's in the sixth house which is ruled by Virgo and, in my chart, features Pisces on the cusp which confuses me but hey, Neptune rules confusion. I have learned to befriend Neptune a bit more these days

This is a bit off topic. I want to mention, I discovered another singleton in my natal chart, only it's the Libra stellium/conjuctio of Mercury/Jupiter/Uranus. I read that a conjunction of planets can be, in itself, a singleton. These are my only planets in an air sign. I have two elemental singletons and one angular singleton, Venus in house 10.

This node can improve state of mind if given the chance. Thing is to believe in a higher power and reflection more than action. I find with Neptune, it's very important to spend time thinking and reflecting. When it's all acting without any thought, Neptune is at it's most confusing and difficult. When given the chance to sit down and consider, much easier to navigate life with Neptune. Maybe this has something to do with the nodal position?

I read the NN acts like Jupiter while the SN acts like Saturn and it's true. When I display spiritual, non judgmental behavior, I get much better results then when I am being critical, trying to pierce through the thin veil of illusion and being overly judgmental. It brings out the worst in people around me and my luck isn't so great. Could have something to do with self undoing since the SN is in house 12. Hehe, it's reversed in my chart. NN in 6th house Pisces, SN in 12th house Virgo with app 9 degree Virgo sun and 9 degrees exactly reversed cardinal signs on all the cardinal points. I find that strange.

Oh, and the SN is conjunct Pluto in house 12 :S

guys....i lied. ACCIDENTALLY!! Calm down!

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I stated my SN was in the 3rd, it's been a long day and I know damn well it's always been in my 2nd house (Placidus houses anyway). I realized that a little bit ago and thought....it's not in that house at all! wth was i talking about? lol. Merc. conj Chiron in the 3rd is what's going on. I confused them somehow. And that placement alone can make my words extra healing or hurtful.

but anyway!!!

man, i've never been that rusty with astro to misstate my own chart! lol

Faith, my sun is at 26* Taurus. Where's your southie?

....wait, lemme double check!.......

yeah, still at 26*. LOL Have had my whole chart (and others) memorized for over ten years. Having a slip-up like that....must be part of getting old. lol

Thanks for the replies people! I'm headed to bed but will see you tomorrow ~

T, my SN is 20 Taurus so we're sympatico if you're cool with 6 degree orbs.

G'night!

Edit: Oh I just noticed those pics...LOL! Most Aries SN people I know are actually very nice most of the time.

Yeah! With a conjunction, 6* is not too wide in my book.

What I've always liked about SN connections (especially the conjunction) is there is a feeling of soul bond, mutual type understanding to them usually. Yes, sympatico!

Sweet dreams.

I should probably head off to bed soon too.

I'm the reverse and I can totally relate to those! coincidentally, I seem to have images on hand that I feel match my Aries NN and Libra SN well.

North Node Gemini 8th House/ South Node Sagittarius 2nd House
Letting go of overly idealistic values. Keeping your personal morals but becoming less self-righteous about them. Finding out what other people value by asking them. Becoming more curious about what other people hold dear. Becoming curious about other people’s “stuff.” Developing curiosity about what other people consider taboo and why. Becoming curious about sex. Staying alert to other people’s taboos. Developing curiosity about your own emotional baggage. Reading up on psychology. Allowing yourself to be curious about the occult. Learning to adapt to other people’s values and priorities. Becoming flexible in response to learning about other people’s emotional baggage. Moving away from moralistic attitudes. North Node Aries 6th House/ South Node Libra 12th House

Becoming a freelancer. Setting your own schedule. Setting a schedule of objectives for yourself and sticking to it. Taking the initiative to care for your health. Releasing patterns of indecision. Getting a job. Realizing that it’s the things you do every day that create your life. I feel I am far. I don't care about a lot of things.

"Finding out what other people value by asking them. Becoming more curious about what other people hold dear. Developing curiosity about your own emotional baggage. Reading up on psychology. Allowing yourself to be curious about the occult. "

^i only do this here for the most part, which must be y I seem like I do. I guess IRL I do it a little bit with family/ friends. But mostly I don't.

"Developing a lighter approach to sex."

^almost not possible unless.. Manslut. That's the only way I can imagine it now at least. But that's not caring again.

^^ that is cause I posted the wrong one! ( sorry 4:am ..loopy) Yeah i think thats what i need to loose a bit off although not entirely. Just need to adda new skill set to that and make a good blend.

I think your a very curious person, I know you might think some of it comes from your scorpio and maybe it does but I know the differnece in scorpio curiosity and gemini. You often have curiosity just out fo thrist for knowlegde I think. Which is why I think you are half0way there. The rest of that doesnt have to match you, I think with north node, you just know yourself what has to be done by you or what should be focused on more.

lol...you dont have to be a man-***** if thats not what you wish. Btw, I think a lighter approach could also mean better trust and understanding in relationships through detachment.

My NN is in Sadge, 2nd house, and I just keep picturing Indiana Jones.

Moon/Venus/Vertex conjunct South Node. I love to learn and to put things into practice, but I find that reading about it isn't always enough for me now - I need to be around people to be really inspired. Unless I'm just well and truly blocked in some ways, and I'm making excuses - I lack focus where I used to have it.

Alternative health is viewed by lots of people as "hokey", which I don't understand but whatever. Do you have any planets in Aquarius or is your Uranus aspected? Uranus is strong in my chart, so I'm into everything alternative, LOL

I agree, the prejudice against "alternative" cures is just overblown and weird.

Uranus isn't too strong in my chart, but I have Aquarius Mercury squaring Scorpio Uranus (yeah, I'm old) which definitely makes me...unusual.

Good luck with your career in natural health

Hmm...I'm totally confused... Have you posted your chart anywhere, that you could refer me to it? Would like to see the answer to the riddle.

I'm thinking late Scorpio Neptune trine Pisces NN opposite Taurus moon but then I don't know how your moon could fit in your 6H unless Aries is intercepted there, and your moon is early Taurus?

Never heard that before. I'm a singleton Cap sun, it's my only earth planet or luminary...still trying to get a handle on what that means...a stellium singleton sounds even harder to interpret.

Sounds so to me. Neptune affords you a psychic gift to work with.

I love that, about Saturn SN/Jupiter NN. 'Will think of it more.

Virgo Pluto/SN/12H sounds intense! Is your sun in the 12H, too?

Trying to follow your astrological description...reversed cardinal points on all cardinal signs...so you have Cancer in the 10H, Cap 4H, etc? Interesting!

And heavy emphasis on 9s?

I also have some weird numerological stuff in my life and chart. I was my parents' sixth child, born on the 6th, and my sun is in the 6th house.

666 Maybe I shouldn't brag about that...

Anyway, thanks for telling me about all that stuff! Would love to see your chart if you're interested in posting it.
