pits >>> angels

my NN at 19 taurus, SN conj serpentis and ixion....some synastriez in here cos my SN would conj Faith's NN and sand's mars i think, ahhhem. lol

found this on serpentis

Serpens, is the same Snake that is found on the symbol of medicine worldwide, the staff of the god Mercury, the caduceus. The caduceus shows two snakes coiling around a central rod surmounted by two wings of the bird on top. Mercury placed his wand between two serpents struggling to devour each other, which represents the directing intelligence (Mercury) reconciling basic opposing forces and so representing good balanced by evil, health by sickness. This much-used image is an emblem of homeopathy - a cure effected by what caused the ailment. The serpent therefore becomes the source of the healing of the wound caused by the serpent.
A snake's ability to shed its skin is symbolic of transformation and renewal.
Kundalini is represented symbolically as a snake coiled up upon itself in the form of a ring at the base of the spinal column; and when it is roused, as sometimes happens in human experience, the snake uncoils and stretches up along the spinal column, through the chakras, corresponding to the various plexuses of the body, until it reaches the area of the forehead corresponding to the crown chakra, there it blazes out to enlightenment.
The snake represent power, wisdom, temptation, sublety, moral dualism, the harmonizing of divergent tendencies.
The snake has often been likened to a bolt of lightning. There is no foretelling the snakes' movements, when a snake uncoils to strike, he moves like lightning.
This energy can bring about sudden changes.

Oh god..

Mars-South Node: This karmic link indicates the two of you may been sexual partners in a past life. Alternatively, you may have been competitors or partners in battle. The South Node person likely expended a lot of energy to further the goals of the Mars person. The Mars person may have been violent with, or at least, mistreated the South Node person, so residual anger may exist between the two. Now, the South Node person has returned for “payback.” The Node person may drain the energy of, and act as a restrictive influence on the Mars person. The Mars person may feel the Node person impedes upon the Mars person’s actions. Nevertheless, the South Node person is irresistibly attracted to the Mars person, and the Mars person readily gives the South Node personal sexual pleasure. Mars also supports the Node person’s actions and strives to further their goals.

My Mars in Aquarius is conjunct my ex-boyfriend’s South Node. The sexual pull was practically irresistible, and he is still (after 10 years) one of the best lovers I’ve ever had. We were practically addicted to having sex with each other, but boy, was it draining! Sexually, I felt that I was always “giving,” while he was always “receiving.” Our fights were catastrophic; he brought out anger in me that I never knew I had. The constant fighting was one of the reasons I decided to end things. We continued seeing each other for sexual purposes for about a year after we broke up because it was just too irresistible.

The mars person finds the south node person sexy as hell and incredibly beautiful. I think they failed to mention that.

*take that universe!*

There are one way tickets and studio apartments..

Maya Angelou has a Sagittarius NN and boy does it show! She's spent most of her life travelling the world performing. She's hobnobbed with civil rights activists and politicians, married several times, and had several mansions. However, she still relies on her Gemini SN to produce a ton literature and poetry.

I think she's a good example of being able to balance both nodes and still be successful.

Matt’s Mars is conjunct Carol’s South Node. Definitely a past life contact, and they both feel the pull (Carol will feel the impact more strongly because it’s her South Node that’s being activated). The pull will probably feel sexual, but it may make Carol uneasy. Being around Matt puts her on edge, so she pulls away. What happened?
Past life relationships often involve unpleasant scenarios. If everything was rosy, there would be no unfinished business to deal with in this life. Mars can symbolize violence, so—depending on the rest of their charts—the lingering echo of this is disturbing enough for Carol to say, “forget it.” It’s possible that they were forcibly separated by war, or that one of them died suddenly. Please note that someone’s Mars conjunct your South Node does not always symbolize violence. But it’s a good bet that some intense, jarring event occurred.

^funny though my mars is retro. i think that could have meant i misused firearms in the past life. i also have a red birthmark under the scalp at the base of my skull. they say it's how you died. someone must have shot me or put a spear into my head then.

yeah coz i'm so annoying.

omg ur nodes are on my sun opp mars axis! that's crazy!

When your Sun is conjunct your partner’s North Node, a strong bond exists between the two of you. This aspect indicates a relationship that is constantly moving forward. This aspect indicates the two of you are “new” to each other in this lifetime. If there are no South Node Aspects between the two of you and only North Node connection, it implies that the two of you have no past karma to work out. Indeed, the two of you have a “clean slate” upon which to build your relationship.

The Sun person encapsulates the qualities the North Node person requires in order to fulfill their life’s purpose. Thus, developing each other’s strengths and talents is the hallmark of this relationship. The couple can help one another in furthering their career and social ambitions. The willingness to invest in the relationship is present, due to the fact that they feel they are “going somewhere” with each other.

Depending on where the North Node person “is” in his or her life will dictate how this relationship will unfold. The relationship also strongly depends on whether the Nodal person relates well to their North Node. Regardless, the Nodal person is likely to feel somewhat uneasy in the presence of the Sun person, mostly because the Sun person brings the Node person out of their comfort zone. Is the Nodal person ready to grow, or is he not?

Nevertheless, the North Node is undoubtedly strongly drawn towards the Sun person, and vice-versa. Indeed, the North Node person feels a fated “pull” towards the Sun person. The North Node certainly feels there is a future with the Sun person and is attracted to the growth the relationship represents.
