Found this thread on "Astrology":
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006184.html

These lines are especially true:

"a 12th house moon, all the negative emotions etc etc. 12th house suns just get the whole kit and kaboodle."

Who else has 12th house Sun, Moon, or planets that also finds this true?

My son has a 12th house moon. The relationship between his father and I is complex, and the transition after the break up wasn't easy for me, in fact, I was not with my son for 3 months while I was making a moving transition. Before that I was always at home with him. There was a sudden disconnect between us that affected us very deeply. I still feel kind of guilty that I had to be away and how that might have affected him subconsciously, since he was only three at the time. In terms of who is more involved in my sons life between his dad and I since I made the transition, it's me. I've sacrificed a lot, and I am very sensitive. My son can be very emotional too, despite all the air and fire in his chart.

I have a 12th house sun conjunct neptune and I agree about the isolation/loneliness but also with the other side of it that I often cannot see but know is there. If what they say about 12th house suns are true, I cannot escape and run from my problems, I must face them. Heavy stuff, ha.

Wow to what Blue ROamer described in that thread. It describes my life to a T. It's refreshing. It's so hard for me at times to put things into words but if I had to describes my 12th house experience it would be much like that.

And what's even crazier about his response is that's my mom is a cancer and my father is a Scorpio. I suppose I have a great deal to learn from them and I have but a large part of me feels that I've had to learn a lot on my own even tho my mom has always been there for me my dad not so much.

Lol oh wow oh wow that was a trip down memory lane. Lol I am Planet_Soul on that thread, my old username prior to the server crash. A few corrections, turns out my Asc is actually at 17 Sag. This places Mars in the 1st and Neptune on the 12th/1st house cusp, but my Sun and Mercury are def 12th housers lol.

Lol too funny and sweet, reading back those old posts..I miss BlueRoamer, St. Henri, and Zala wonder if they pop in here from time to time. Another funny thing is noticing the reference Phoenix, and that I did become a Social Worker. Got to love lindaland, a second home indeed =)

lol, yeah, from time to time, I'll just scroll to the bottom and click on a number. I noticed a post talking about the 12th house and decided to investigate.

Glad you enjoyed the trip!

Does what Blue Roamer said in the thread about 12th house people apply to Mars and Jupiter in the 12th house, or just people with 12th Suns? I'm thinking maybe Mars but not so much Jupiter.

Edit: "The 12th house person NEEDS to have 8th house and 4th house people around, or scorpios and cancers, to channel their energy into different avenues. The 8th house person can let the 12th house person see who they really are, and the 4th house person can teach us how to use our powers for the benefit of those we care about."

WOW! In my natal chart, 4H is ruled by Virgo, 8H by Capricorn and 12H by Taurus. I LOVE earth signs! Love them. I am intensely attracted to Capricorns, and lived with my Virgo best friend (whom I've known since childhood!) and get along easiest with Taurus (though I don't know many). Not only this but I attract Scorpios and Cancers very easily! This is so cool to figure out!

I think maybe any 12th house aspect even though 12th house jupiter is supposed to be a good thing it may be the only good thing in my 12 th house actually, so maybe not. Do you agree with what he wrote?

I like what he wrote but I don't think I have any power over people at all really.

This is true. I guess no one would ever really say "You have such power over me! *swoon.*" but you could tell by how people react, couldn't you?

Wonder what ever happened to BlueRoamer, he was pretty good at describing things. Its so true about Moon and Mars, and yes people seem to dislike me for no reason right away. And have to watch myself for people with hidden agendas

The only thing that functions well in my 12th house is Jupiter, which I consider 'My protection from creeps placement'

I have to watch for this too! I thought it was my Aries stellium squaring Neptune that brought those kind of people on me - never thought about my Mars in the 12th.

How does Jupiter protect you from creeps? Do you mean protect you from getting hit on by guys that are less desirable, or you mean they're actually trying to harm you? (I think I remember you telling me a story about a guy coming after you in the parking lot, but I can't remember if it was you or someone else.)

^^It protects me from both, its strange though because I have good and bad going at the same time with my 12th house lol. My Mars in 12th seems to bring trouble, but my Jupiter protects me from it. Perpetual paradox going on lol

Mars in 12th can also represent hidden enemies or hidden spite from others in IMO.

Oh goodness.

I have n.Mars, n.Sun and n.Jupiter (conjunct ASC) all in the 12th house.

Yeah, I could relate to several things from the former thread. The classic examples of being very shy, and needed a lot of alone-time.

It's funny they mentioned working at night, and alone. I'm doing a lot of writing now, and it's always at night, and alone. Although it's not really a *job*, it's more of a hobby thing.

Here's an example of some Jupiter 12th house luck: Last Sunday, I was in a terrible car crash, and had to go to the ER as a precaution. My car was totaled by a young driver who's brakes gave out. She was going downhill, while I was going uphill. She slammed into me, but had she gone just a few feet farther, she would have been right in the middle of a strip mall! Yikes!! Good thing it was only me, and not the people sitting outside of the restaurant.

It still sucks for me, but I did walk away, which was truly amazing. That to me is the Jupiter 12th luck. It's suckie situations, but somehow, you come out all right.

The other piece of luck is that the insurance is paying enough for me to get a new car. Whew!

Wish 12th house Jupiter would keep the creeps away. I was once attacked by someone with a knife, but I got away without any injury. I guess that's part of the 12th house "luck" too?

That's so wild how you managed to get away without being harmed, very lucky. That is Jupiter in 12th working overtime indeed.

Yeah, sometimes, it's very handy to have Jupiter 12th. This past accident was a real doozey. Funny, but the only placement I can find in my chart for the accident is t.Jupiter square n.Uranus. Plus, t.Uranus in my 12th. It seems to add up in a weird way. Uranus, sudden shocks and surprises, which is the accident, then t.Jupiter in my 2nd (what you value). Throw in t.Uranus in the 12th, which would give energy to 12th house matters (accidents, hospitals).

It's like this accident had those qualities. I remember thinking that the impact was like a bomb going off (very Uranus). I *absorbed* the accident, in that had the young driver gone any father, a lot of other people could have been hurt. By hitting my car, she was stopped from hurting others. They'll never know that either (that seems like a 12th house kind of thing).

Even though it sucks, some good things are coming out of it. Not great, but oh gosh, how much *worse* it all could have been is crazy (Luck = Jupiter).

Just some thoughts on 12th house: I read that to get some direction with the blind spot that is the 12th house you can look at the ruler of the 12th house and what it's doing in the chart. Mine is capricorn so it is ruled by saturn. My saturn is in the 11th house (conjunct Uranus). It is strong in my chart. It makes sense that discipline would help to figure out my 12th house sun (also conjunct neptune).

Also aspects to the 12th house can help navigate through the darkness. Not aspects within the 12th house itself I assume. (Not sure if a sextile would be strong enough but both of my 12th house planets make sextiles to both of my 9th house Scorpio planets (moon conjunct pluto). In that example I could use my almost obsessive desire in regards to the 9th house (philsophy, higher education, search for meaning, spirituality to help navigate my sun?) (I'd rather do that than use Saturn haha but I can see Saturn is a must.)

Jupiter in my 12 has been good luck for me too. Only good thing about my 12th house. However it doesnt prevent me from people who want to harm me, I find I attract those people often ( men in general) some fake friends as well.
