Something I'm curious of.

I none of my Basic 3s (Sun, Moon, Ascendant) are compatible witht he Sign of Aquarius.

However I am a Scorpio-Aquarius dominant.

So I'm wondering-would being an Aquarius dominant make up for lack of a compatible Moon, Sun, and Rising Sign if my girlfriend was an Aquarius Sun?

Or assuming my girlfriend and I have the same or 100% compatible Sun Sign and Rising Sign but her Moon Sign is in Aquarius (which is opposite of my Moon in Leo), could we still manageto get along very well in a relationship even if our Moons are opposite because Aquarius dominates my chart?

Could a relationship between two people with no compatible sign at all-say one's Thriple Wind but the Other is a Thriple Earth-could it work out if the Thriple Earth manages to be an Air Dominated Chart (most, if not every other planets are in Air Signs and percentage states an Air Sign and the element of Air dominates his chart)?

I'm very curious about this. I know Rising Sign,Moon Sign, and Sun Sign are the 3 MOST IMPORTANT placements in a person's chart but I do wonder if being dominant in the same sign as your partner (or to broad it same elemental signs) make up for lack of compatibility in the basic 3s?

anyone can get along. there are charts i've looked at where people have absolutely no major signs in the same elements and yet they have been married 20+ years. it speaks to the dedication of the people. but if you just look at it objectively - just using your opposing leo/aqua moons as an example... if you don't have the moons in the same sign, or a complimentary element, sure you can get along, but don't you think the emotional compatibility will be much less? it's pretty basic... if you don't share signs/elements the attraction/compatibility can obviously still be there, but the emotional connectivity will be a lot harder to generate/maintain over the long run. and for most people that is what we need to maintain our strongest love relationships, emotional connectiveness. imo.

Of course it can work...astroglogy doesn't doom a realtionshi and say it will or won't last. Just as much as someone who has one of the big 3 has the potential to not last.

But similar to what Starmoon said (using the Moon example) you can get along. But in the end it may not be the most emotional of relationships to sustain over time. An exsmple is people may come together because of Venus/Mars/Pluto (ie hot sexual attraction), but it most likely won't last long without something (in relationships the strongest planet tends to be the Moon).

As personal experience has shown me my mom has an Aqua Moon, and my sister has a Leo Moon. On first glance they get along, but really when it comes down to it my Leo Moon sister is a drama queen who makes everything about her...and even my mom thinks this And gets tired of her temper (and I'm a Leo Mercury so I should empathize...but I'm a Cap Moon...and Cancer Sun with IC Square I get where my Aqua Moon mom is coming from).
