She always smoked weed, but got into hard core drugs when she turned 40.. She hit rock bottom hard and fast... After a few years she quit cold turkey.. She moved on and away from her life... She is clean now... I have an aunt.. She is a life time addiction... I don't know her birth day.... I don't think she does hard core drugs.. She is addicted to drinking, smoking, gambling.. She is really really bad... She was in the hospital and of course no drinking during that time.. Her body went into shock and she went into a comma from the withdrawals of not drinking.... I think that was after 1 or 2 days of being in thé hospital. IP: Logged

MOST of these were stressfully aspected. I.e., the 12H Sun had many stress aspects to it. Neptunian and Piscean themes are often centered around drug addiction. I also find that if Uranus is touching a difficulty aspected config, like a 12H Sun opposite Neptune and also semi-square or square Uranus, the odds of drug addiction and off behaviors go up further. Many of my family members who struggled with substance abuse had very harshly aspected charts...a lot of Mars-Neptune, exact square in one case, and some planets in Aquarius seem to be prevalent. Also, a random Aquarius Sun I knew was a major cocaine addict. He had Mars-Saturn and Sun quincunx Pluto. IP: Logged

mockingbird Knowflake Posts: 2128 From: Registered: Dec 2011	posted January 20, 2013 08:25 AM There's someone I know with Neptune conj Moon / opp His Sun/Jupiter conj and with Saturn in trine or Sextile most things in his chart, and he had major drug abuse issues (painkillers, mostly, though be took almost everything else under the sun at some point or another, has tripped [acid, not something warm and fuzzy like shrooms] "over 100" times, and had a major pot [of the wake and bake variety] habit). One day, he just decided to stop, and he did (almost cold turkey, with a lapse or two at paries before he gave up on trying to remain with that group of friends) with no professional intervention. He won't even have more than a beer or two at a time now. Perhaps all of the pretty Saturn aspects helped. To this day, though, if he goes to the doctor for a pain-related issue, he discloses his past and insists upon synthetic (if any) painkillers. ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Hm, I'm not an expert, though of the two Leo's that I know very personally with heroin addictions, both have multiple personal planet placements in Leo, one of them the Leo planets are afflicted to Saturn, the other to Pluto, both have fairly afflicted Moon/Venus/Mars, as well as highly aspected afflicted ASC's, as well as Chiron, as well as both have 8th House placements. The correlations are endless and eye opening imo, I love astrology for the endless correlations, I just thought of how its kinda funny cause Leo rules the Heart, and its opposite sign Aquarius rules the circulatory system, and the opposite signs are tied together, and intravenous drugs are shot through the veins directly to the heart.. its almost comical.. I would say with soft aspects House placements would definitely play an important factor, as well as would help in overcoming the issue, also possibly look to House Rulers/afflictions to as well as asteroids for other mitigating factors Also I don't know if this is important but all of them have lots of quincunxes, quintiles/biquintiles, sesquiquadrates. But I'm too lazy to try and obtain some illegally. I really don't care enough about it. And honestly why would I need drugs? I'm already weird enough....
