What are some key differences between Air and Fire in regards to how they live their life that you've noticed?Some things I've noticed are:
-Air signs tend to be a lot more into fashion, style, design, good music, good food, "posh" lifestyles, etc, and are really good at it too. Maybe not posh but at least things that leave a good impression.
-Air signs are more reserved and in control of their emotions
-Air signs tend to focus on being cute and being a certain way that shows they're "cool" or that they keep up with some "in" aspect of society, while Fire signs try to express things in a bit more personal of a way. Like their passion or enthusiasm. They want to express things they keep close to their heart whereas with air signs it feels more like they're just playing a role. I wish i could find a way to phrase that so it could sound nicer haha. I think air signs are naturally so refined that it's harder for them to get in touch with their more animal/passionate side which the fire signs are so good at expressing, and that's what is making me think that. So they more easily come off as "trying" to be sophisticated and posh, whereas it feels like fire signs dont really care.
-Air signs are sweeter, but also more indecisive
-Air signs seem to need people more than fire signs do
-Air signs are skinnier than fire signs. Fire women usually have thick thighs and curves. Fire guys have more square jaws, a heavier or more "angular" build. While air men and women have smooth features..nothing "angular" Hmm, what are some other differences you've noticed? ------------------

Fire signs are quite expressive, you notice them just like that.
Air signs can be really chatty but they aren't as attention grabbing as the average fire sign.But I think it depends on the rising because some water signs act really firey, and that's because they have a Sag rising and Venus for example. Air signs are less trustworthy and yes, they are more 'reserved' (relatively speaking). IP: Logged |

I have way tooo much air, I do resonate with your description in a lot of ways
I always prefer the company of fire dominant people.
They're always the most exciting individuals at a party, people naturally gravitate towards them because of this, more so than air.Fire and air naturally compliment each other, fire will always take action and air will always lend ideas to keep the flame alive.
You can't compare them because they lack qualities each has. Fire needs to slow down and rationalize and Air needs to take action and stop over thinking. I noticed this with my parents, My Gem mother always finds a solution and my Leo father takes action and gets the job done. Its really perfect haha IP: Logged |

-Fire signs usually have warm and inviting vibes while Air signs are more chatty, as above said, in a more removed/aloof fashion.
-Fire signs make lotssss of friends naturally; Air signs are more about doing things and attracting events. Air signs just seem to be everywhere, which is why they have lots of friends.
-Air signs are usually more combative and defiant; Fire signs tend to react with confusion when they're confronted, or tend to agreeableness ("yeah I know what you mean and...").
-Air signs can have various levels of energy while Fire signs in general are outgoing and energetic. Fire signs, especially Mercuries, will talk over you or be first to speak. Air signs, especially Mercuries, will let you talk.IP: Logged |

-Air people retain more than fire people do, but fire people will always remember how something made them feel. They have to feel in order to remember something. -Air signs find loudness a bit overwhelming and unnecessary whereas fire signs are even more comfortable being themselves in a loud environment. -Air is meaner than fire with their words, and not as generous, also more particular in general. some water signs can be even crazier than ur avg fire sign. its like earth/water can be crazy hyper too but in kind of a mean way and put too much of their real emotions in there, while fire signs are hyper but in a happy friendly enthusiastic way always IP: Logged |

You know what I never understood is how any astrologer calls Cancer a homebody. Every Cancer SUN I've ever encountered was a big partier, big personality, into casual sex, very fiery. I'm an Aries and I seem more like a textbook "Cancer" compared to them.IP: Logged |

Water/fire and water/earth can be intense!
Recently this water/fire girl nearly lost it on her ex (smashed his car windows and left deep scratches on the sides). I was like ... wow.He was a jackass, but still?! I don't really see an air/earth person doing that. IP: Logged |

whaaat really?I've met two that were like that. but they still had that "keepin it real" thing that khloe kardashian has where theyre always kinda blunt lol. that is one thing ive noticed about all cancers. Thinking back on it: Hmm, actually, about 1/4th ive met were shy and 1/4th were somewhat reserved but big partiers, the other half was outgoing loud and big partiers so maybe u do have a point. i'm definitely a homebody cancer tho

Agreed. I'm a cancer sun and know plenty of cancers, all of us except for this one girl, are pretty much how you describe us. Not necesarily into casual sex, but definitely outgoing and into parties. My rising is Taurus, so I don't think it has anything to do with that lol. edit: also most of us LOVE to travel! IP: Logged |

Actually... Taurus is a big 5 senses sign, so good food, good drink, good people. It makes sense. But that's also one of my qualms about astrology is how general descriptions like that will bleed into most every sign somehow. Is the big party thing part of Cancers shell though you think? Air people are much better communicators than fire by the way RAS! If you approach them intellectually for an argument, they'll respond. Approach them emotionally and they run away like you said. A fire sign doesn't care about the other person in the heat of the moment though so they'll probably say what they need to say and then be off to themselves leaving you a little incomplete.

Fire signs don't hold grudges (more easy come, easy go) while air signs do, especially Geminis and Libras.The Cancer chicks I know generally all have a shell around them, but some of them are really chatty (guess because I'm not a stranger) but I think Cancer guys are more outgoing on average, but some might be overcompensating haha. Fire signs don't care as much about what others think of them. Especially Sags and Aries, I think it's because they have more innate confidence. IP: Logged |

Oh, that's totally not true. Air signs are actually known for their ability to be emotionally impartial and super-logical...which is why you always see people complaining that they're too 'cold' or 'distant'. Holding grudges is something that's more emotionally-based, it's the territory of water signs/placements and to a lesser extent, fire signs and placements.

Air signs are detached but they do hold grudges, they just don't show it as much, because they're less expressive and keep more thoughts to themselves. It doesn't mean they don't though. But I don't mean all, I just mean alot I come across. Though it might be bc I was born in 1989 and lots of the air signs I spend most time with have watery placements too? (Libras with Scorpio, Aquas with pisces etc.IP: Logged |
