Met a Sag I used to attend high school with, gave me his number, totally hit it off on the first date, then he became a jerk when I refused to sleep with him.

Mind you all he described himself as a self-proclaimed "cool jerk". - At least he got that right.

Anyone else feel the same???

lol ^ centaurs can be rather "jerky" IME ~
I expect them to be impetuous in relationships with even the die-hard hopeless-romantic ones... >.< Sagittarius know they're known for being fickle, and flirtatious... pushy sometimes... fire sign, after all... despite the mutability... I don't think they'll take offense so much. Pretty common to hear about them being impatient in the physical romantic arena... Centaurs after all, are beasts of lust... children of Ixion. (except for Chiron). I wish I could say all male centaurs don't act like this guy... but, I'm afraid I've had the same experiences time and time again, just like yours... I married a guy just like this jerk you speak of... lol (yes, I'm a miserable fool... but, that's my hopeless-romantic centaurean Venus... >.< lol)

Still, I really want to applaud you for sticking to your convictions! <3

I think when it comes to fixed sign to mutable dating/relationships... at least for what I have discerned watching others, and my own bit of experience here and there... Taurus goes best with Virgo, Gemini to Aquarius, and Scorpio to Pisces, leaving Leos with Sagittarius... no (helping balance via element)??? these are pretty common combinations, actually --- fwiw, within my friends/family especially~ though there are several fixed-cardinal relationships in there too... XD Aries/Taurus... and Cancer/Scorpio mostly. iunno~ which just makes element more important still!~ haha oy vay!! lol

But whatever!!

You, Miss Taurus~ have ALL my respect! <3

This is true, I hit it off really well with a Tauren neighbor, but it is very surface level.

Lots of attraction but it is not going anywhere, two very different approaches to life.

Happy go lucky vs Very Grounded

Interesting. I know of several Sag males, who, even though extrovert and outgoing and enjoying connecting to alot of people, have been in stable relationships for several years and pretty committed to their partners.

Personally I think it doesn`t have so much to do with Sag as a sign in general, but just with the species of "male jerks".

I can see your situation happening bella_ but I also agree with Ceridwen. I haven't known a lot of Sag men but the two that come to mind immediately were both in long-term relationships and faithful. Do you know this guy's other placements? The two I know, one is a Sag ASC, Sun, Moon, and Mercury with Venus in Capricorn (I can't remember his Mars.) the other is a Sag with Aqua ASC, Libra Moon, Mercury and Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Pisces. The second one was a lot more flirtatious than the first but seeing the difference in their placements one would somewhat expect that. Point being, don't give up on Sagittariuses just yet.

nobody mentioned infidelity~ Oo; (or did I miss something in my rapid perusal of the posts)

just jerkiness and a tendency toward being pushy~ lol

though I'm time-crunched~

just sayin'...

her post is clearly not meant to be offensive or bashing of the Sag male... she stated so herself...

and ftr~ my post isn't either~

I stuck it out with my incredibly pushy, jerkwad, sagittarius husband who ftr also has been unfaithful, and continues to be, and takes great pleasure in pushing my limits to this very day, and calls himself a sexy-troll with how he treats others, particularly online... for near well 7 years of marriage now... almost a decade together ourselves...

^ he'd kill me writing it --- but it's totally true~

*smexytrollmyhorse'sarse* looooooooool

I definitely can. My ex was a double Sag (Sag sun, Sag moon) and the minute he hit his Saturn Return he transformed into a true Sagittarius. He is now torturing his poor new girlfriend (first-decan Aquarian) who tells him she loves him (he doesn't say it back) because he's "a free spirit" who just "can't deal with commitment."

He will never marry her - or settle down in general. He gets bored with women after the novelty wears off. Luckily, she's only 22 and will probably come to her senses before long.

These ones can't be trusted either. Just look at what Peter Facinelli did to Jenny Garth. They may be able to play the stable man role for awhile to fit in, but their true hunter nature will always come out eventually.

My current boyfriend has a Sagittarius moon and it scares the bejesus outta me. I just hope his Cancer ascendant and Capricorn sun (Cappy Venus as well) is enough to drown out that horribly fickle, never-know-what-they-want mutable influence.

Got me alittle worried about my SO with a Sag Moon and other Sag placements, he seems to like adventure and surprise type situations, I am crossing my fingers on his Venus in Cancer.

I'm a sag sun/asc woman (and Aries moon) who would never date a sag! But they obviously like me Lol they're too cocky and pushy, I agree. My Venus is in cap so I like shy and reserved guys, not pushy and aggressive guys! The overconfidence is a major turn off too. Also, it's difficult for two know-it-alls to date lol. I dated a couple of sags and I dumped them pretty quickly. My last guy had a sag moon and he was such a cocky idiot. But anyway sags see sex as a sport and find it difficult to settle down...

Not to be biased but I get along with sag women great!!

Really not loving that moon placement on my man. I dunno why I always attract Sag moon men? I don't even want to...

At least one of the Sag guys I was referring to had Venus in Cappy, too.
And another Venus in scorpio. I guess having the Venus in Cappy or Scorpio might help the faithfulnes a bit.

I myself have Venus in Cappy square Pluto, and I take commitment very seriously, despite having Sun, Mercury, Mars, ASC in Sag.

Yeah I agree those placements definitely helped.

I know an Aquarius who has Venus in Pisces, Mars in Sag and it's like he can't help himself. For one, girls fall at his feet (I'm still clueless as to why. He can't drive himself anywhere out of anxiety, still lives at home with his mother at 25, and can't really support himself due to the driving thing) and two, he loves the attention too much. He has a Cancer moon too, not that that's relevant but to give a clearer picture.

They really do! And I feel like these two understand each other best but there might be a lack of sexual attraction.

Depends on the Sag's other placements. I know a Sag that met a woman within a few months and married her, they seem perfectly happy. They love to keep each other on their toes. Though he is a Sag sun/mercury/uranus, Aquarius Moon/mars, Capricorn Venus/Jupiter/Neptune

A lot of the Sag males I've known were jerks. Couple of nice ones, but for the most part jerks.
