After dealing with mutable men like Pisces, Gemini and Sagittarius... In comparison, I could never see a Scorpio or a Taurus as a player... or as someone who is indecisive.

I can understand why he does it. He might be scared of if he had been everyday next to you, you might have freaked out & left him cause of his intensity.
Being everyday next to you gf/bf is would bore the hell out of me and its emotionally draining like someone has mentioned it above.

Disappearing does not mean he does not care about you. If he didnt care why else would he start a relationship.
If i had been in a relationship now i'd have warned my gf that i need some distance time to time.

i cant say im a pure scorpio because i have some softening aspects like cancer moon and sag mercury.

time to time i can "turn on" my scorpio side aswell. if im or anyone that i love is in danger.my pluton is in conjuction with my sun so i can say at those times i become a real scorpio. so uhm i can tell you how disappearence applies on me.

im with this pisces guy, he is kind and magnetic. i do love him with all of my heart. since the begining of this relationship i acted with my moon cancer to him, till 3 days ago. i acted like an angel, and i was planning to remain like that because i sensed that he can understand my feelings. whenever he is stressed of he felt down i was always a shoulder if he ever wanted to cry. he was all this emotions and in seek for warmth, i was there with all my willing and heart.

during this time i have caught some white lies, time to time even let him yell at me even when he wasnt right.so yeah, i can really say i was like a saint even i hated dishonesty and disrespect.

3 days ago. 2 girls from his work backstabbed me saying him things that i never said/meant to them. as being triple pisces he vanished instead of talking to me to confront what has really happened on his side and on my side.

because im an intense feeling person i got wrecked; on bathroom floor spending my time with a shot of tequila every night, cant sleep nor eat anything. while trying to respect his need of space.

3 days passed like this with me being there, waiting for him for confrontation.

so now im in the edge of disappearence. he doesnt know because he is busy on his mind. when this disappearence starts my scorpion saturn side comes alive in act and makes me start judging the attitudes im facing. its not the girls or what has happened. only but only his attitudes today, and pastime moments which i tried to endure.

scorpio in disappearence,i can say, DANGEROUS. he/she will judge whether the act she/he receives in this relationship, what he/she deserves. whether this is love. several days with judgement comes decision.after this decision he/she will kill the other and herself in mind. several days later will reborn as totally different person with totally different feelings.(this has no way recover to past time, u lose him/her totally even if he/she doesnt break up with you he/she is not there anymore)

if this scorpio is not well-developed one, after decision instead of burning her/his mind she/he can start revenge scenerios even can apply them when you are at least expecting.(this is where all those terrifying scorpion-ex memories come from, this is why people call scorpions vindictive)

this judgement never turns out in other person's favor. and if you are really in love, you really want that person in your life,i can only say you really have to face angry scorpio in order to stop him judging and let yourself get hurt a bit,so he can think to himself "ok, she loves me, im down and she is here for me" or you lose him totally.

I mean.. I guess it's normal to be indecisive to some extent... mainly when it comes to something important like your S.O.
BUT - there is NO comparison between mutable and fixed men.
Fixed men usually know what they want.. or at least act reasonable when making a decision.
Mutable men act like a tipsy firefly on steroids.

This is exactly true. I will attest to that because I am heavy on the water, extremely, and I need to disappear when overwhelmed. Bit of Scorpio & Pisces but lots of angular Pluto and Neptune.

I just cannot deal with the anxiety of telling someone the relationship is not for me. It is much much better for me to just slip away without dealing with anything.

Even though this is not with a love interest, I just recently disappeared on a girl who was a new friend but was just too much for me. I am married with young kids and she wanted to get together just too much for my taste. Plus, I was uncomfortable with her husband, her household was always filled with people - friends, coworkers, caring for sick relatives, it was just crazy.

When I would bite the bullet and say yes to a get together, whenever I thought it would be just the two of us, she'd have a few other girlfriends join us, without telling me! I HATED that. Either that or she would always invite her husband along.

She invaded my boundaries. It just got weird and I can't deal with someone like that. How can you just tell someone all of that and say, OK, I don't want this friendship, bye bye? I just can't do it but I also can't continue to be in the friendship. So what to do? It may seem mean and believe me, I care waaayyy too much for how people feel, but sometimes I just need to bolt. It's kind of how I take care of MY feelings..
