Hmm...so would the midheaven also be more important than the ascendant in how a picture of your comes across to people you don't know that well ?IP: Logged |

There was a post about the MC/10th House Cusp that sort of addressed that. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/209779.html IP: Logged |

Wow..just wow..Thanks for the link moonlightx. I have to say, I think MC doesn't get enough credit. Every time I read some interpretation I feel they're spot on, a lot - and I do mean a lot"- more than sun signs/asc/moon descriptions. IP: Logged |

Uranus conjunct the MC in Scorpio. I won't go through all of the aspects to it, but when was younger an astrologer told me I'd have to work for myself and could be quite successful in the arts (some form of non traditional art?) or be a great astrologer. Both fit. What is for sure is that I need to work independently. And yes, i'm an artist and an astrologer, although I do not focus much on astrology anymore - or as much as I used to. It's a part of me that is so ingrained I can't ever fully give it up though. Nor would I want to. IP: Logged |

Pisces MCSun opp. MC 2'08 Moon trine MC 8'54 (wide) Mars sesquiquadrate MC 1'00 Saturn conj. MC 3'44 Uranus sextile MC 1'59 Neptune sextile MC 1'49 Pluto trine MC 3'40 Chiron opp. MC 6'53 I've always wanted to work in a business/really professional environment and I still can't see myself in any other field. Not sure if pisces MC works well in business though since it seems like most people who have this are in the health/arts/healing profession. I also have SN in 10th in aries so I'm guessing whatever I do I have to make sure I have a personal home life instead of worrying about being the best in my career or my public recognition? 2 Taurus MC O Leo Saturn 6 Uranus Scorpio 5 Aquarius Mercury^ MC turns my t-square into something like a fixed grand cross. That Saturn-Mercury opposition is a bear, so having it aspecting the MC is no fun. But in a strange way I think it's made me work harder to communicate...to the point where, in college, I could sometimes blow the bell curve on essays. I had to check my papers over a million times, but it did get the job done nicely. And I won't bore you with my life story but the same theme repeats itself: I struggle to communicate, but with all the effort I have to put into just sounding "normal," I find that sometimes I actually succeed in making a very clear point. And consequently I've gotten job offers for writing, made money as a writer for a few years, and hope to do so again eventually. IP: Logged |

Mars square Midheaven, Neptune trining Midheaven in TaurusI guess I'm pretty selfish. I want to do what I want to do, and what I want to do is not very helpful nor useful to anyone. The main thing that I want to do involves beauty and materialistic things (Venus-ruled), while my alternative path is very active (Mars). Then, later in life when I'm done fizzling out, creativity and imagination (Neptune) take over. Now if only I could get around to it... IP: Logged |

''Libra on the 10th House Cusp, Aries on the 4th House Cusp: It seems that you are everybody's friend and you cooperate with the public. It also seems that you are artistic, you are concerned with the fairness, and you do not like to get into confrontations with others. But with Aries on the 4th House cusp, you privately always put yourself first. You always do your own things when you are at home or by yourself. You are very independent really. You initiate many of the things that you want to accomplish in life, and you do not need anyone's help or interference.'' True well...that part of not liking to get into confrontations with others, not so much true, it's not that I like getting into confrontations either, but I don't hesitate if I have to get into one. The only times that I don't are when am sure I'll lose face!
Me too I HATE working for someone else. I want to be my own boss. I'm always thinking of changing jobs,I don't like being tied to a job, or to certain rules and conditions. I think it has something to do with Uranus in the 10th H. IP: Logged |

10th house Pluto Conjunct Midheaven 4/5th house Moon Opposition Midheaven 2nd house Sun Square Midheaven 1st house Mercury Sextile Midheaven 1st house Saturn Sextile Midheaven 1st house Neptune Sextile Midheaven 6th house Jupiter Sesquiquadrate Midheaven, Pluto, and North Nodei think pluto's conjunction gives me an intensity in whatever i'm pursueing, i'll get totally into anything new that interest me, suns square could push me to do better but i can go too far too fast and think i can take on just about anything. the moon probably gives me an strong emotional attachment to my career, i have to really feel good about what i'm doing with myself, and i'm really stubborn about not doing jobs that i wouldn't like. as for the mercury, saturn, and neptune sextiles, maybe they help me more with understanding more what will get me ahead in my career, the intuitive knowing of what i'm focusing on(mercury), the perseverance to stick to what im doing(saturn), and neptune probably makes me alot more open minded and understanding with my job. and jupiters sesquiquadrates could potentially create huge amounts of luck for being at the right place at the right time, or can cause a decent amount of damage if it goes bad (the opposite of the great luck). for being a dj i think these aspects are really helpful for helping me get ahead, as i really get to feel good about what i do, and gives me the ambition to push ahead and go as far as i can. Good question Jessica! I need to learn more about the MC apparently. I didn't know it's meaning expanded beyond our careers. MC in the 10H in Pisces:Sun (Aries) 11H semi-square MC Venus (Aries) 11H semi-square MC Jupiter (Gemini) 12H square MC (but it's Jupiter, so is that good?) Uranus (Capricorn) 7H sextile MC True Node (Pisces) conj. MC Chiron (Cancer) trine MC So far I've worked in a lot of customer service jobs. I don't know why because I get somewhat anxious having to socialize with people (the initial hello's, etc. I think I'm just really impatient and want them to get to the point right away, and then leave immediately afterwards. But I live in Oklahoma where people love chit-chatting. -_-) My dream job (when I say "dream" I mean the most practical option) though would be working for the Challenge Day organization. I'm currently going to school for a BA in Psychology (which I'll have to get a MA for to be a true psychologist) in order to give me a leg up. If I could pick anything to do though it would be being a famous writer, comedian, or a singer. I think I'd do great at performing in front of big crowds (after the nerves wore off at first of course.) IP: Logged |

I also found a thread on Pisces MC specifically, but it had a useful approach in it: look at the ruler of your MC - Neptune. what sign is it in. what house is it in. what aspects does it make. what houses are those planets in taht aspect it? So for example, I have Pisces MC. Neptune, Pisces' ruler, is in my 7H. It trines my Moon in the 11H but squares my Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Aries in the 11H as well. So perhaps the message here is to have a more practical approach to finding a career that works for me. It might also mean my bosses take advantage of me, or I'm a lazy employee (I'm not, but am throwing out ideas since I'm kind of assuming stuff as I go on this topic.) What about the 6th house? How does that influence our MC since both 10H and 6H are about jobs and careers? (though not limited to such.) IP: Logged |

Do you have a link for this thread? My neptune is in the 7th also (plus uranus, and they both square my NN) Trine sun 3'57 Trine chiron 8'42 Square mercury 2'54 Square NN 4'04 (so maybe this square causes more emphasis on moving away from idealizing my SN career?) Do you think the desire to be a psychologist is somewhat related to Chiron trine MC? I love psychology BTW, I think it's a must for everyone since we deal with people from all walks of life, it's good to know how to 'read their minds'. Wish you best of luck in your studies IP: Logged |

Probably. I mean Chiron = pain, trine my MC which equals "career." But I have other aspects and placements that support it as well. After having bounced from major to major in college (though I initially majored in psychology) I just seem to "fit" as a psychology one. It's weird because I rarely feel that type of relief like "Ahhh, this is the right choice." Thank you for the good luck wishes though! I'll need them!!! IP: Logged |

I have my MC at 26 degrees Gemini. I'd be super surprised to hear that I had a Geminian reputation though, hahaMy MC is also conjunct my Jupiter in Cancer, trine my Mars in Aquarius, sextile my Sun in Aries, and inconjunct my Saturn in Capricorn. I've got my Mercury in Taurus in the 8th House, trine Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn, sextile Venus in Pisces, and opposite Pluto in Scorpio. I'm an accountant by trade. ------------------ Sun -> Aries Moon -> Sagittarius Ascendant -> Virgo IP: Logged |

MC in AquariusSun square MC Moon square MC Venus square MC Mars opposite MC Saturn semi-sextile MC Pluto quintile MC Chiron sesqui-quadrate MC It’s devastating. Most of my life I’ve lived with the idea that I always have to do my duty regardless of how I feel. I just recently found out that you can in fact do whatever you want and actually enjoy what you’re doing for the rest of your life. This realization became a problem for me because now everything I do seems like a burden and I feel the need to escape because now I know that I don’t have to do it. The thought of my hobbies becoming my career stresses me greatly because I feel they will be ruined and I will not enjoy them anymore. I don’t know what I want to do with my life. My biggest fear is that I will end up doing something I despise which by itself has no value or meaning to the world or to myself. I want to feel fulfilled when I do something and lately nothing I do brings me this feeling satisfaction. I can’t escape feelings of worthlessness, being judged and being a disappointment. As for my “social role” I really don’t like it. I don’t like myself when I’m public or with others. With friends it’s my AC that takes control and I’ve noticed that very clearly but while I was in school in a more formal and “professional” setting I felt my MC was controlling me and I despised the image I exposed. I felt like I came off as cold, unapproachable, anti-social and snobbish.

My mc is in aries with mars in virgo(2nd house) squaring and opposing rverything, i dont know if other planeys are bothering him or is he bothering other planets 😭 either way i have red somwhere that mc is how we present ourselves in our WORK enviorment and our peak in carreer, our work "legacy" - so lets look at Angelina Jolie for example, she is an actress, mc in aries dosent necesarily present that BUT it does show us the type of roles that made her STAND OUT - and made her successful two of which Mr and Mrs Smith and Lara Kroft are both dealing with stuff you would associate with men, action, guns, violence etc ! So with aries midheaven i might not work in military or similar but it might have elements, my "roles" might be suchIP: Logged |
