^ You're right... My dads a leo and he seriously never really worked, ever. Idk how he even paid the bills, I guess thats the talent of leos. I think he got an inheritance from my grandfather and lived off of that...IP: Logged |

Sags are just naturals. I don't see it as sucking up. That's their way of communication. My dad doesn't need to suck up to anyone since he is self employed and has his own practice yet he still charms the pants off people. He even has this fascination about abandoning us, including him in a semi far province without money and we each try to make it home lol! He says he would use his charm to get home.  IP: Logged |

I work. I usually take on more than I need to and sometimes am like "why do I do this to myself" I am constantly identified as a hard worker from my superiors and peers. Maybe it's my Taurus moon or something. But I know a Leo/Aqua/Leo who is also a very hard worker.
I am very lazy outside of work stuff usually. Work hard / Rest hard

And I know other Caps who are the same way. Why do Caps have this reputation of being boring, stern, and dull? Because we don't suck up enough for other people's liking!

At least, in the case of suck-ups, the recipient of the suck-up gets kind treatment.Then you have other people who are just plain nasty. Like some people here who use astrology as a thin disguise for taking annoying, petty jabs at people, over and over again, while playing innocent. Like how immature can a person get??? IP: Logged |

I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you feel bad. It was just an opinion. I have Mars-Neptune and know 2 individuals with Mars in Pisces and the way we can be passive aggressive and sometimes seem to flatter vs. tell the truth due to whatever feelings we have is bordering on kissing up, but it's more accidental vs. purposeful, so I apologize for not making that a more clear distinction. I agree that it might not sound good to build up someone, but if you're a Libra it's easier to understand. If I really, really like someone, I am naturally inclined to flatter and compliment them because I like them so much. I can see how this might be mistaken for kissing up, especially if the person a Libra compliments and acts friendly to often is in a superior position. Sometimes, I admit, some Libras including myself are good at manipulating people with flattery to get what we want, BUT it's important to realize that we sometimes build up people because we really do care about them and want them to see how much we really DO care and how awesome they are. So I don't really think it's wrong per say to build up a friend or someone you care about in a healthy way, especially if you have genuine intentions and don't act two-faced. IP: Logged |
