I don't know of any one Sign who sucks up more than any other. Any such hypotheses are speculative at best. It's probably more of a personality defect than a Sun Sign trait. But for the record, I have several Cappy placements, and maybe it's tempered with other aspects of my chart, or maybe with my numerological vibes, but I never suck up to anyone. Not even to the IRS or to judges. But I still tend to get my way (usually through strength and standing firm to my principles), and I have no shortage of people in high places who tend to offer help to me when needed, without really asking them (23 vibration). Caps are upwardly mobile for sure, but I've never known any to be kiss-ups. They work hard and earn what they get. But there could always be other placements at work to create a bad apple in a Cappy or in any Sign. ------------------

I think Libra often gets a bad rap for this. But I don't see it as sucking up. Libras like to build up their significant other. That can be a coveted trait. ------------------

This is a good point. I can see every sign being a suck-up potentially since everyone is different, even headstrong Aries could end up being a suck-up or pushover type if they have other effects in his/her chart like Mars in Pisces or Moon-Venus or something like that. I think Libra placements just tend to get the bad rap for suck-up as you said Randall, because we like to build up those we are interested in. But it's just that - if we aren't really into the other person, a boss or whomever, we WON'T suck up to them, or build them up. We'll probably give them a cooler vibe but not be outright mean. On the other hand, our desire to build up others since we're the partnership sign can make us seem like suck-ups to other people, but if we genuinely want to mesh and get somewhere with someone, we can just... overdo it sometimes, but it's usually good natured. I'm not a suck-up. I'm a business woman. I do what needs to be done, because if we're all the same, then why harm others unless the people who have treated you kindly deserve otherwise?We're all different in that aspect. Survival of the fittest does have its place even though its like a very small percentage because in the end you still have to fend for yourself against that big bad world. Like lightning..

 Mars in Pisces is NOT a suck up sign. And "building someone up" IS kissing up. Instead of telling them how they feel they would rather give them half truths. Which all in all whether intentions are good or bad is WRONG! IP: Logged |

Aries would be LEAST likely....They'd be like the last one.Surprised nobody has mentioned Virgo. Sure I've seen Leos, Sagittarius, and Libra and some Pisces people in the act of sucking up, but more often than not (in my life at least), it's been a Virgo. At my work, I find out everyone's birthdays one way or another. In my experience the biggest suck ups are Leo's, Sag, Libra & Gemini. I was saying air and fire with the exception of Aries and Aquarius. This is my experience. That's it. Yours might be different IP: Logged |

That would most likely be a Leo, Aries probably can do a better job then most people. There confidence stems from there abilities. A warrior is only as good as his/her strength. Capricorn and Aries are similar in that way, Mars (Aries) is exalted in the 10th house. Although capricorn is the general and Aries (the soldier) gets all the recognition. IP: Logged |
