Well, it depends what you consider normal. I guess some consider me a little off, but not completely imbalanced. I guess I'm normal(ish) and I do believe in astrology. And reincarnation, and ghosts, and tarot.. Yes maybe not as normal as my mom would hope. IP: Logged |

My mom introduced me to astrology.. Or I found the books in our library at an early age. She is one of the few EFT lecturers in the country. That tapping thing is weird IMO.  Also if u r normal but have really dark issues, you do not count. (It's my thread  ) Explanation: I believe u we're meant to find astrology and work thru them.. Occult 8th house stuff.. IP: Logged |

I'm somewhat normal. Astrology isn't a hinge on my life or anything, so I'm not really a fanatic. I'm about appealing to the greatest amount of people possible! So lots of what I do is in moderation so as to not scare off other people. IP: Logged |

no. i don't think normal people believe in astrology. but what does it say about you when an interest in astrology is the most normal thing about you?it shows i have a hobby - and normal people have hobbies. at least, that's what i was told when my spaceship got here. IP: Logged |

^yeah true it is a hobby though a bit individualistic.. I have not been to an astrology meet or whatever.. I've gone to readers and recommended them to friends. And then we'd talk about the details afterwards. I have also never talked to my guy friends about it unless they are in the table while I happen to be talking astro with a lady friend. IP: Logged |

Yeah I'm a little weird. But I seem normal to people at first I remember I met this girl and her bf when I was visiting a friend and by the end of the night she said "You're so pretty. And you look so normal. But you're SO weird" People usually think I'm manic pixie dream girl weird so it's charming My other favorite hobbies are makeup, chess, and poker IP: Logged |

Unless you consider east Indian people abnormal, yes there are normal ppl who believe in astrology. Of course, not all Indian people believe in it but astrology is, and has always been, a huge part of our culture and religion. At Hindu temples, the pundits (priests) are astrologers. It's cool because I can get free readings whenever I go to temple. You can ask them any question you want. It's like this in temples all over the world.I live in Canada and the pundit at my local temple does it. They do jyotish astrology though. Anyway most Indian preople I know know their ascendant, sun, and moon signs. My parents had their charts checked for compatibility before they got married, and so do a lot of Indians. It's becoming less common now, though. Indian weddings often take place at strange hours ofthe day because people want to get married when thestars are most auspicious. There are huge celebrations in india when outer planets enter new signs. People often consult astrologers in times of crises. Remedies are given to people to ward offf the negatve effects of planets. I like being a part of this community because no one looks at you funny when you say youstudy astrology. They actually thinks it's quite normal. Define "normal".I'm 32, married with 3 kids, have a BA in something relatively useless, am pursuing an MA in something slightly more useful, save money, give to charity, have retirement accounts, grow food, bake pies, have pets, keep chickens, play video games, and favor books on the outer planets. Seems pretty normal to me ;-) ------------------
