doux...and the rest

is it true that having your moon opposite pluto = scorpionic moon?

i have taurus moon conjunct taurus rising. ive read that that gives a cancerian quality to my moon....
but, my taurus moon opposes my pluto (also sun/mercury/venus) in scorpio.

i read about a hades moon, moon opposite pluto.
so, what type of moon do i have? if any...

hikoro, it's crazy how I can relate to everything you say. I agree with you completely!

And yes! You have a "Hades Moon" (all Moons with an aspect to Pluto are, except for the minor ones I guess).

Cancer Moons, yes, they're like little children who are so sensitive and cute but not as "philosophical" or "psychological" about things. So I can definitely see how a Plutonian Moon could be annoyed by their version of things.

Sigh, it's actually really hard to meet (or should I say, get close to) someone who's on the same wavelength emotionally, especially for us Hades Mooners.

But guys.. here we are, we can relate to each other, even though look: I have a Virgo Moon, Hikoro has a Taurus Moon, goatcat has a Scorpio Moon and Charlie has a Cappie Moon. But Pluto makes the bond, in different ways of course, but there's a similar vibe in our emotional make-up.

So, don't despair!

Libra moons ain't seeking perfection, we just don't feel like everyday needs to be about chaos and fights. How is that superficial and why are Scorpio moons 'real' if they crave and thrive on drama?

Since you're looking for a way to vent emotions and all that jazz, isn't it a good idea to look within? No sign wants to be with someone who uses them as a punching bag.

Pisces moon allowed me to act out on my "intense" emotions to the point where they were uncontrollable and very irrational. Very destructive. Pisces moon was also my emotional punching bag. But after acting out on my emotions, I still felt empty, void, and just nasty for being so dramatic. My Capricorn sun was often disgusted with such irrational behavior.

Now I'm in a relationship with a Libra moon, a supposedly incompatible duo. Libra moon allows me to feel my emotions, acknowledge them, and then rationalize why I'm feeling the way I do, rather than acting out on them. The rationalization of Libra moon has also brought my retrograde Cancer Mars out of it's shell to release feelings and talk about them.

The only thing that my Scorpio moon doesn't agree with is the superficiality of the harmony seeking Libra moon. Libra moon seeks perfection while Scorpio moon seeks what's real.

Hapless, see, that's why things just don't seem to work out when the Moons clash, so to speak. There is no right or wrong, good or bad.. it's all just due to differences, different needs, different emotional responses. The way you see it, may not be the way others see it. And your point is completely understandable, I can definitely see where you're coming from. But when the Moon is in a "rocky" position in the natal chart, the people who have it just don't do the whole "harmony for ever and ever" thing. They need ups and downs in order to feel alive. It's just how it is.. Now, of course they can change, become more controlled, more mature. But, it all comes down to fundamental differences between elements and signs.

Hey you're the one saying you tend to act out and have destructive emotions at times, that the Pisces moon became your punching bag. *shrugs*

If that's not what you meant, what did you mean? I only illiterated what you said.

I think scorpio moons need an air sign. The reason I say this is because I think Scorpio mooners will kill earth moons because they're so logical and critical. Scorpios are too intense. Air signs are logical and a little flighty so I think they will go well together.

I wasn't sensitive about it, I just saw based on other threads you have a very skewed perspective of some other moons.

I dated two Scorpio moons and one used to occasionally go on about how sensitive he was, that he was the only one that had feelings, and that I couldn't possibly be hurt because "you don't feel' etc. It reminded me of what you posted in that other thread when you asked if air signs could actually feel emotions.
It's like hahaha...Obviously.

I think it depends on how evolved the moon is? The second Scorpio moon I dated seriously was intense, but didn't test me or was controlling or overwhelming- he liked peace too. His moon was in the 7th house like the other ex.

Anyway I agree with Hikoro! What she/he said was on point.

Guys..
Let's keep it simple, shall we?

I don't see any reason for disagreement, here.

We're just sharing points of view and experiences.

And.. I think goatcat is quite young, so let's give her a break. A Scorpio Moon can be very hard to deal with, especially in younger years. She seems to have matured now, and recognises that she needs something to balance her emotions. I think it's a great step. There is self-awareness in the air so it can only get better from here.

That being said,
Of course things depend on individual charts. Some Scorpio Moons will get along with Air Moons just fine! There are no absolutes when it comes to astrology.

It's just that you took what I said out of context with the whole, "how is that superficial because Libra moons don't like to fight everyday" etc. I'm not saying that I use people as emotional punching bags, that was just one experience I had that was taken way out of context.

I apologized in the last thread for saying, "do Air moons even feel". Along with that and what i said about Libra moons in this thread, I suppose I shoulda worded it a lot better.

@doux

what is the pluto aspect to your moon?

@hapless
i understand where you re coming from.
that is the reason i think that goatcat should find herself someone more compatible because imo, when someone indirectly criticizes a placement of someone they are dating, especially when it relates to the emotional understanding, that means there is some kind of lack of satisfaction.

by the way, i dont think libra moons seek perfection at all. i think libra moons are more likely to just seek out a way to make things more harmonious and peaceful. that is, why yell at each other when you can just talk it out?
i dont know why it is, but...for some reason, libra moon is far more intense than for example, libra sun. i do find libra suns as being flaky and superficial as heck.
but, ive yet to find a libra mooner who didnt hurt, cry...feel pain. they just externalize it differently.
as a matter of fact, the libra moons i know are very compassionate.....it is crazy.
like, they dislike seeing others suffer and want to make a better place for everybody.

hapless, i have my synastry posted at the libra moon, or other aspects thread. if you could comment, pretty please.

by the way, did anyone notice that there is a scorpio moon transit at this moment?

what i mean is that for all of the 'emotional depth' of scorpio/hades moon folks....
we tend to be misanthropes. do i hear a yay?
seriously....at least for myself, i can see the worst of humanity and even feel it. i know how evil we can be. i know the extent of our darkness.
a libra moon will still have this hope. it is so cute.

Eh I will admit this is true. Me and my boyfriend have both concluded that we're emotionally incompatible. But because we enjoy our relationship so much, we've come to accept our emotional differences. I've come to understand that no matter how badly I want to immerse him in my emotional lair, he'll never subject because it interferes with his harmony and balance. And though I crave that emotional intensity, I try not to rock the boat. I like my Libra moon better when he's balanced anyway. He serves as a really stable force to my crazy. Plus he's an Aries sun so he's ruthless when unbalanced.

Wow, you're right! Quite interesting..

I agree with you about the Libra Moon!
Most of the ones I've known seem quite kind and compassionate. They really want people to just feel good and get along. But they're definitely very different from Water Moons, who are more self-centered.

- goatcat,

Glad to know that you accept each other's differences! Kudos ~

I (scorp-moon) know exactly what you mean.
Also with a Pisces-moon now.

A pisces-moon (in my experience) is Fixed as hell when it comes to *intuitive approach*. If they sense one little nasty/dirty vibe (in which often lies an accusation addressed to them) they will normally avoid every confro. They force you another approach.
It's only because I can't say they're *NOT right* with their way of handling things, that we're still together.

Wow...at this statement especially ;

a scorpio mooner will want to delve deeply about a circumstance and be philosophical about it, whereas the cancer mooner will pout about not getting a hug...you get what i mean?

But I can’t fault you from speaking from experience. And I will also speak from experience and state that Water –Water moon sign relations are not the easiest. I’d say that it works better, in my observation, if the female is the Cancer Moon and the Man the Scorpio moon.

But for people who are gay, it’s not so cut and dry.

I have a Cancer Moon and I lived with a Scorpio moon and his Moon was trine mine very closely(less than 1 degree orb) and I never considered him “philosophical” at all: More fanatical and fundamentalist in his approach actually.

He was extreme, biased and combative and sometimes I would smile at his sweeping statements. This, to me, is Pluto energy (well at least the un-evolved side) and I can’t relate to descriptions that suggest Scorpio as “philosophical” because that would mean a certain kind of emotional detachment; this contradicts the intense and “vibrant” emotional base that is Scorpio altogether.

The reason that our relationship didn’t work was because when he was “right”, he was “right” and that was the end of it: No discussion, no other considerations, nothing.

And I believe that, since both our natures were emotionally tumultuous, arguments/ disagreements that were not openly discussed and dealt with, somehow found themselves cracking the nest egg that wasn’t altogether strong to begin with.

I wasn’t able to talk openly about issues and over time, I grew to actually fear him; would he dismiss my feelings as “childish”? Would he once again say that I am “weak”? Would he talk down to me? etc.

Don’ get me wrong, when we agreed, it was paradise: The sexual intimacy was amazing and it was during these instances that my Cancer moon would express its romantic nature abundantly and he seemed more at ease to just let his torrid emotions flow and these were AMAZING moments in the relationship...truly AMAZING.

But we just couldn’t keep it there, no relationship remains “tension free” for long.

If I meet an “evolved” Scorpio moon, than I would think that the compatibility level between us would be very high and endearing, but mostly I haven’t. Most seem very hot-headed, disturbingly harsh and adverse to “weakness” (expressing vulnerability, hurt and pain).

They seem more at ease expressing the more aggressive emotions like anger, outrage, defiance, opposition and attack. This is NOT for me as I am an emotional man.

I actually met a "Scorpio moon" guy and we got on great and I thought “Wow, this is actually happening!” But, it turns out he had given me the wrong birth details and upon investigation, I found that he had a Pisces Moon, not Scorpio, as initially thought.

Whatever the Scorpio moon regards as “strength”, that is what they’ll want to closely associate with and anything that is “less than” is dissociated with altogether.

My best friend is a Libra Moon. And it's just what you said. It's not that she doesn't have feelings, of course she has, she gets upset easily but doesn't like fights. She wants to be in good terms with everyone, and I totally respect that. I only sometimes push her to stand up for herself, because many times she wants situations to stay peaceful, and neglects her own needs. I really like Libra moon

Scorpio moon....ugh, where do I begin?
Again, it's not about a placement alone. A girl at work has Scorpio Moon, trine her Venus in Pisces. She's a really sweet person, nothing to do with emotional outbursts or creating drama or anything like that. And I like the sexy-mysterious vibe I get from her Scorpio Moon.

My cousin on the other hand, is all about creating drama, shouting to people, and getting all emotional all by herself.
She can make you feel like rubbish, when she's not right at all. I don't feel like this happens because she wants to get deep in things. No, she just wants to make everything about herself and believes that shouting and making people feel like s*** proves that she's right or stronger or whatever. She shows no empathy at all.

I like Scorpio Moon men, but I don't always get them.
What do you think about Aries Moon- Scorpio Moon? I seem to attract Scorpio Moon men a lot!!
