Back when I paid more attention to the threads trashing a sign (or other placement) I noticed that some of them were started by the same person (I think there were like 2 doing like over half the "that sign sucks" threads). I'm not sure if that person was a troll who just churned the waters to offend people or if the person was just a general misanthrope who was going by whichever sign had drawn attention to itself to that person, but such threads were often popular more often than not with many willing to sling their own tomatoes. After awhile I stopped paying attention to them though I can be tricked into viewing such a thread by a deceptive title sometimes.
