Hi Leeloo.. I must admit I don't know a lot about the disorder. In fact just googled it now, heh heh. something along the lines of - "Individuals with narcissistic personality disorder generally believe that the world revolves around them. This condition is characterized by a lack of ability to empathize with others and a desire to keep the focus on themselves at all times" ... Well, that is exactly what is being speculated upon as forming a longstanding and fundamental part of his personality. The anger issues seem to be there as well...but seperate from this to some degree.

Hi, Taineberry.
IMO, it's not a real narcissistic disorder, more like a "fake" one, a screen. It's hard to believe a man with no legs could develop a real narcissistic disorder (more like a form of dysmorphophobia).

But he sure is an overachiever, a star in his country, it's hard not to become a little narcissistic. I liked very much your analysis about Narcissus and this couple. They sure had a narcissistic streak. She seemed narcissistic too, just by looking at her model photos. The golden boy, the golden girl.

Personally, I think the man has a very bad temper, as a result of enormous built-up rage, combined with very high desires and ambitions (I'd say even compulsive, in a Plutonian way) and possibly some steroids - all that made him kill her in a tantrum rage, IMO. Too bad he hasn't chosen to tell the truth, he keeps saying he took her for a burglar, but we can't judge. Of course, I could be wrong in all that and they have very specific tests for that, I'm sure they'll diagnose him if he is a true narcissist.
