What placements or what signs have a really good sense of smell and who has no smell at all? I have a horrible sense of smell.

ALSO, my mom doesn't believe that people in France all "stink", but its true and so I says to her, "If everyone in France "Stank", then it wouldn't be STINKING to them now would it? Then she responded, "I dont believe you".

Then she said something really dumb, she says, "People who "stink" (dont take showers or wear deodorant, perfume) are mentally Ill. To which I responded, "Who says what stinks and what doesn't stink.......it only "STINKS" because you were taught and believed that everyone should smell like OLD SPICE or some lame harsh chemicals that eff up your body, if anything the people who go naturale are sane and those who hide their natural pharamones and smell are insane!".

Why are people so ignorant of the truth? Natural smells are how you are made, it is how animals sniff out the strongest and best to breed with but modern day humans have forgot this thanks to the thousands of "deodorizers" which they are taught is "how one should smell". Urgh!

Virgo, libra,Taurus influenced people tend to always be talking about smells, scents and what not.

I thank modern times for inventing perfurmes and deodorants. I do not like to smell naturally human . And I have no prob attracting men either. Soo...yah

Besides, I have ZERO intentions of producing offspring... **runs to the bathroom to spray on some chanel**

Virgos for sure!!!
These two guys I dated: one has Virgo rising, the other has moon, mars, and Venus in Virgo. They both had ridiculously strong senses of smell. They also have prominent Gemini in their charts.

what do you mean by ridiculous strong senses of smell? Can you give an example? I have horrible sense of smell unless I am on certain drugs. How can drugs heighten my sense of smell? When I do this certain drug, I began smelling things so strong, even my own breath and I am like, "whoa this is insane".

Also, the whole "sniffing for the ideal mate to breed with" thing makes no sense.. There is no proof that Humans are Able to detect their ideal mate to produce offsprings with, based on scent. However, someone's scent (regardless if natural or synthetic) can definitely turn you on, or even want to mate with that person. Depending entirely on the "sniffers" odor/scent preference.

There are social standards about showering, wearing deodorant & perfume... & hiding BO - in all Western countries - including France.

:edit: In URBAN areas.

I said its what animals do when they pick a mate. They smell each other. We do it to more than we want to admit. Also ever heard of pharamones and what not? I mean your second paragraph agreed with me.

In Hitler Nazi germany there were social standards to worship Adolf Hitler and belittle the jews too but that didnt make it right.

My point is....that everything that you think that you know about smell, is taught and learned at an early age and reinforced by parents, society and corporations that sell you the idea of what it means to smell good and what it means to smell bad.

If there were commercials of happy attractive men and women rubbing feces all over themselves, smiling at each other, with a magical bottle that read, "SHIIT". People would go out, buy it and wear it on every hot date and important event.

Sorry I used the S word but I really needed to use it to illustrate my point.

LOL You're on *fire*!!!!!!!!

I didn't say it was right.

I was just saying the social standard is there across the board, including in France.
So I doubt French people smell more than any other average Western person in any other Western Country.

Personally I love the way I & others smell naturally. I'm very earthy

& I agree with you about the brain-washing... Although this applies to so many aspects of our lives, not just smell.

i took a boat ride recently to get to a secluded island it was 8 hours or so. we had a cabin but there were tickets for just beds and in one of those common areas there was a european guy that just smelled like wafts of moldy cheese. it was hilarious at first coz everyone could smell it. it was like he brought his own heat and whatever cool the night wind had it was replaced by hot bleu cheese cloud. i feel bad for those that had to bunk with him. it was really discomforting. i do not have a sensitive nose or am i prissy about smells but i can pick up bad scents fast. to me that was just innapropriate and iv rarely encountered that kind of stank.

smell as in your natural smell. some people have them i think they are great i wish i had one. people say i do. maybe they were just being dramatic and sentimental idk.

see, you were smelling his unattractiveness. I bet if That guy with the three eyebrows and the down syndrome face never showered and got around the women on this forum, they would say, "OMG HE HAS THIS SMELL ABOUT HIM THAT IS ORGASMIC, I HAVE GOT TO FIND OUT WHAT HE IS WEARING, SO I CAN BUY MY MAN THE STUFF".

You used the animal reference as an example to compare it with humans. You didn't say mate. You said BREED. Breeding and mating are not the same thing. I did not agree in any way with that. I said how scents can arouse someone, or wants to mate with someone who smells attractive to them. Regardless if that persons smell like their natural self or wearing synthetic fragrances. But not that we selected our ideal mates to BREED with, based on scent. There is no evdience, that pheromones/odors affect humans in the way you suggested earlier.

piscesfishgoddess - we must have something similar in our charts because ages ago - I went on and on about nudity... talking about the unfair social standards regarding nudity.

I don't want to reiterate everything I said but basically - to cut a long story short - I think that sexual aggression and rape.. is increased in societies where nudity is taboo- and where the naked body (specially the female body) is always sexualised.
