There is NO such thing as normal. If you're referring to society's strongest message of how it thinks we should be [which is generally relayed through the media....]

Who do you want to base this "normal" on?

Intensely creative people do this kind of thing all the time, so do those who have a thing for spontaneity.

well someone has to make a move so it is either her or him who are going to drive-she isnt flying to another country to be with him she is just driving 2 hours, after a week of talking online it seems reasonable to me.

i think when you meet someone you like it is nice to put in the effort- be it with clothes, driving etc- it shows that you value the other person- im jealous of her finding someone who she feels is worth the effort- i LOVE it when i find someone who i really like and want to make an effort for-it really is a magical feeling

quinnlycastro- thanks i dont see why this is even worthy of a thread- its not like she is i dunno giving him her life savings- she is just driving up to see him! no biggie!

I've had guys come one strong with me straight away and it causes me to run a mile. It's like you don't even know me, slow the fck down lol.

Maybe some people like this, but the majority of people would be very turned off.
And no, I don't think this way because society dictates it so, I just think this way cos I got a few air planets (earth sun), and are heavy in Uranian AND Plutonian energy haha.
