I have a lot of water which makes me care and have empathy and I will try to channel that into earth...let me help you in some actual way.....but I don't really feel warm. Like if someone were crying....I would go up to them and ask if they were okay but I wouldn't be able to hug them. I think that is possibly moon square ascendant though.I agree that I feel the need to be sincere too even if that makes me appear less warm. IP: Logged |

I agree with fire dominant people being warm. I have my Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Midheaven, Venus, and Jupiter in Fire signs (4 out of them also form a Grand Fire Trine) and I'm definitely a warm person.I find air dominant people (especially the ones with Air Sun and/or Moon) to be pretty cold. I know a girl who loves introducing herself to people, even ones who are like a clam, and she is genuinely interested in getting to know them too and yet.... Whenever I talk to her it's as if I'm meeting her for the first time. I can't seem to feel close to her and I don't feel warmth, but more like a sterile relationship. My mum gets that vibe from her too. Friendly by all measures, but cold. She's a Leo sun with I think Aquarius moon. I don't know what her ascendant is but I think it'd be either air or fire. Id agree Fire aspects!!. Fire = Energetic and willing to go the distance and brake the ice. Water = Emotional and suddenly moody towards people. Air = To Rational with people.
Earth = To grounded and guarded. I can be somewhat standoffish around people I don't know, but I have good reason for doing so. My placements are listed below. ====================================

Yes fire for sure!!! Fire element itself is warm/hot.  Logical. Jupiter? I am a warm person. I always want to hug people when they are upset. I feel all soft but I usually feel inhibited (moon Aquarius?) because I am hesitant, don't know if they think it's strange. Mostly talking about work here. I talk to a lot of students and many of them are having hard times. But, I often do it anyway!! Especially when someone's happy. We hug and cheer!! And I cry when they cry. Well, not overdoing it, meaning feeling teary (itchy eyed, don't know how to call that in English). I can't hold it in when I 'feel' them. Feeling totally connected. I like to welcome people in (the more the merrier), cook for them and make them totally at ease. Pamper them, make jokes, entertain, letting them sleep over, listening, caring etc.. That said, I need a lot of alone time too. Anyway, I am a Cancer Sun and Mars, Venus in Leo. First house Uranus/Pluto, 5th house Moon and 9th house Saturn. Jupiter trines my Sun. Good friend of mine is an Aries with Scorp Moon (Cap Asc) and Mars in the 1st house. He is very warm as well. Venus in Pisces (loves everybody), Uranus in 11th, Jupiter in Sag. IP: Logged |

Also my former therapist teacher is a very warm person. She is a Cancer Sun/Moon/Mars/Mercury and Sag Ascendant and Venus in Leo in 8th. Saturn in 5th in Taurus. Her Moon/Mars conjunction trine Neptune in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

I am very warm and have Venus and Mars in Leo in the 9th and sag rising plus moon in Pisces conjunct IC ruling my 8th. I have always been very affectionate, sweet and warm but yes also impatient and moody.IP: Logged |
