I have late ascendant in capricorn 29:45 degree conj saturn and have very few of the capricorn traits. I don’t relate to a lot of aquarius traits, only that I often do what I like. I get bored and annoyed very quickly with people who tell me I have to behave/think in a certain way because “everyone expects it” or “that’s what people normally do” or "because it's proper". Or people who tell me to "grow up" just because I crack jokes and laugh a lot. Ugghhh

I had a boyfriend Aries 28.5 and he couldn't have had less of an Aries look to him, not at all athletic or drawing attention to himself. He definitely looked and acted more like a Taurus, he did have a Taurus sun though. He had a thick, shorter body, and pudgy hands.

I have a late Virgo Ascendant (27°), and I used to feel this way. Most of my first house is obviously Libra, and for quite a while there was actually a slight confusion about my birth time (my home state in the US issues - or used to issue - two versions of a birth certificate and the times didn't sync on mine for whatever reason). I really came to identify with that, and it took me a while to adjust to the idea of not having that placement. Ultimately, though, I feel that I have a lot of those traits moreso because I have my Sun in the 7th house than because Libra takes up so much of my 1st house.. I am definitely a Virgo rising, haha. No mistaking that at all.

I am a Sagittarius Rising 26.23 degree, My first house starts in sagittarius but all of capricorn is also in my first house and my first house ends in 3 Degree Aquarius, my moon is also in Aquarius so it looks like my first house is intercepted

Also my Progressed Asc is at Capricorn 29 degrees right now, this Dec 2013 it's goes into Aquarius which I'm happy about. With the Capricorn ASC, life was about responsibility, I tried to be an adult too fast, was very serious and I suffered from melancholy alot. I'm a Sag Rising so I would smile alot a put on a everything is great face, but inside I felt no one understands. So I'm ready for the change, maybe a change in appearance as well

I have a late Taurus asc 28'19 and a number of very early or very late placements. So when I read the descriptions of certain planets I look at both. Yes you end up with qualities of the next sign especially if that sign is already present in your natal chart.
