No, indeed.

Tense, challenging aspects are where you need to grow. Lessons that need learning.

If you accept the lesson and don't need to vest in the outcome of a situation, you will free yourself to understand and move on.

Desire is the root of all suffering.

I have doing a lot of work on loving without attachment, and accepting life as it comes. I have struggled with co-dependency issues all life long, and I realize that every relationship and difficulty has been breaking me open into my wider self.

You can not fail. The real you is not connected to the specific outcome of any event. So, failure is an illusion. So is success. We write the story that one outcome is better then another but we never know where any path will lead us. It is all an illusion of control. I think this is what Linda was talking about when she talked about the Super Conscience that would transcend the signs and the placements and allow us to just be. Higher selves. I think of that as our real self. The timeless being that observes behind the noise of thoughts and emotions. That is not us. They are just noise. And, the more we can become detached with this 'self', the more we can find peace in the most trying circumstances.

We look at what aspects are 'good' or 'bad' in ourselves or relationships. There isn't such a thing. They are all opportunities and gifts. I have had beautiful relationships with supposedly 'difficult' sun signs for me and some of my most rejecting from the people who supposedly were on the same page. All that means is that they have a simliar perceptive and outlook on life and sometimes shared values. But, if you drop the need to share the same perpectives and allow yourself to reach into other realms, it pulls you. My Sag Man with the Gemini Moon did drive me bonkers at times, but he is still my friend and life long confidante. Unlike the more matched Taurus or Scorpio men I have known.

Suffering is caused by a wish for things to be different then they are, but life is constant change so there is really nothing to hold anyway. Make peace with this reality and you hold the keys to the kingdom...(I know, I know....easier said then done...but POSSIBLE)!

Can a chart say if you are doomed to failure? Maybe... What does failure mean to you? That is such a subjective term. It can literally mean almost anything.

I believe in reincarnation. I believe that we are here to learn lessons that we will take with us to our next life. I believe that if someone is born with natural and tremendous musical talent it's only because in their previous life they worked hard to develop musical skill that did not come naturally to them in that life... and now the soul having acquired that knowledge instinctly brings it to the next life by making a child that just "gets" music quickly- Someone with innate musical talent. So whatever someone has been born into in this life is a direct result of actions the soul has done in the past.

When your perspective on life is like this it's difficult to ever see life as a means to failure. You're always growing... always learning. All that matters is trying...because as long as you try you cannot fail. Whatever you do not achieve in this life you will achieve in the next or the one after as long as you keep trying for it.

The people who SEEM to have things come so easily to them in life actually WORKED very hard for those things in a previous life- which is the only reason why they were born into those things now. Donald Trump was born into great riches because in his previous life he learned to create riches for himself. Bill Gates was NOT born into great riches. But riches came easily to him later on because in his last life he was close to achieving his financial goals, however didn't quite make it before he died.... perhaps he was even viewed as a failure then...But the universe knows nothing of failure or success. It knows nothing of punishment nor reward. The universe only knows of expansion, growth and change. Gates had to live a little more life- he had to be reborn again and learn a bit more about the nature of gaining for a few more years before he could achieve his goal and EARN that status. Someone born with the perfect victoria secret body in this life only has it because they worked hard to take care of their skin and body in the last one...etc, etc. Do not focus too hard on the goal or you will never be able to hit it... it's the journey that counts not the destination... Focus on the journey and you will get to your destination regardless... focus on just the AIMING... and the goal will take care of itself.

''are there some people who are doomed to fail/suffer their entire life?''

Have pondered on this question many times. When I was living in India, it was something that I thought almost everyday.... I think there are some people who have very challenging aspects that are difficult and trying that bring many setbacks in their lives and may be the good times for these people are not that great to overcome the trying times and they get discouraged and feel doomed to a life of misery and unhappiness.

Too many trines can indicate failure as there is no impetus to try.

Also sun in the sixth house can indicate not having a ton of worldly (material) success.

As for misery, that is subjective.

For instance, misery to me would be a life spent single, but to someone whose whole chart isn't in the 7th house, being single your whole life might not be remotely unbearable - heck, for some it might even be desirable.

Pluto can bring a lot of misery but also the unique ability to cope and rise from its ashes. All very subjective.

The concept of failure is subjective.

The very definition of success is removing obstacles and overcoming failure.

It is what you make it out to be. Winning starts with what's deep down in your heart. A defeatist attitude is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I don't think there are specific astrological placements that indicate this. There are so many factors that contribute to someone's luck in life. There are some people who lead a very charmed life while others have to fight for every little thing in order to survive.

I personally know someone who has had an extremely terrible life. Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong in her life. She spoke to a counselor after her own mother abandoned her and her ex-husband tried to kill her. After hearing every rotten thing this poor woman went through, the counselor asked why she hadn't yet attempted suicide.

Despite her horrible life, she is still optimistic that something positive may happen to her. Life is all about how you react to the cards you are dealt with.

The natal chart progresses with years and you change along with it. Difficult natal aspects change to good and so on. Nothing is set in stone. Everybody gets a piece of pie at some point of their life. God had thought of everything.
