Wich is the ultimate power-placement that makes someone a powerful Mofo, bluntly speaking?Obviously pluto would be involved. I´ve seen that sun square pluto is a force to be reckoned with, but is it the ultimate power placement? Would pluto conjunction ascendant be equally or more powerful? How about pluto conjunction mars? IP: Logged |

I have a combo of sun trine pluto, mars trine pluto, mercury trine pluto, MC square pluto, ASC opposite pluto, uranus conjunct pluto and neptune sextile pluto. Basically a whole lot of pluto. I'm not sure it can be boiled down to a single aspect.IP: Logged |

Sun and/or Mars in Leo/Aries/Capricorn/Scorpio.Sun in a major aspect to Mars. Sun or Mars in a major aspect to Saturn/Pluto. That's all I can think of, off the top of my head. IP: Logged |

I have scorpio venus and I know meny scorpio venus people. Yeah, I guess we do have a quiet confidence, and alot of self-control when it comes to romance. But sun square pluto is all about "in your face" power. They´re more rebel types. I´ve seen extreme potential to be powerful with these people. Is pluto in aspect to sun more powerful than to ascendant? I´m just wondering wich placement has the most potential to be a powerhouse, in an influential way. IP: Logged |

Sun conjunct Pluto Pluto trine Saturn Angular sun Angular Pluto T-squares involving Pluto Mars/Pluto Mars trine Saturn Aries/Capricorn/Scorpio mars Scorpio mars at 19* is extremely powerful, yet unstable/volatile/extreme temper, almost superhuman power, pain-tolerance As far as sun square Pluto, to me it seems like this aspect takes awhile to "become".. Almost like a shadow self from denial, causing destruction while the individual blames everyone else around them till some traumatic experience shakes them into self awareness and they start to own up to their potential/power. That being said, I know someone with the square at 2* separating who is rather powerful, he stands his ground and is taken seriously for the most part (it didn't used to be that way). Then another man who was born 2 days before him has the square exact and Aries mars conjunct NN 0* and he is the joke of every social event he attends. Its quite sad actually, I personally don't think he's that bad, just awkward. The Scorpio sun conjunct Pluto people I know are powerful in a deeply influential/profound way. Especially the male. Almost hard to describe the layers upon layers of the deep awareness and insight he possess. Quite empowering to spend one on one time with him. IP: Logged |

Overall, since Pluto tends to bury whatever it touches, the aspect made should ideally be a supportive one for most influence/power/positive response. Hard aspects=continual trauma/death-rebirth cycle. Stronger individual through struggle, for sure, and not in the "I have it" sense but in the "I have become it", powerful story, definitely in-your-face kicker. Response to such will depend on the audience. Stand alone influence also comes from the power starter Aries points and planets conjunct them. IP: Logged |

there are different "types" of powerif it is influential - a charismatic power... Saturn-Sun or Jupiter-Sun or Pluto-Sun or Mars-Sun (Sun is the key for "influential power", imho) but it depends on the house - a planet in it's own sign/natural house (or corule) will be more powerful than having them aspect from under the natural/traditional domain of another sign/ruler also, taking into account the direction of the natal transit - a retrograde or double retrograde combination will project that aspect/placement differently than a direct motioned planet/aspect would, certainly aspects falling on MC or ASC could be "seen" more, but than there's also Nodal placements that would maybe not be seen so much as felt. stelliums are also powerful aspects, chart rulers are sometimes powerful and influential, as are the non-stellium dominant sign/house natals... Everyone has dominant planets in their chart, those are personal power points... (element, house, mode as well) - Mercury and Jupiter are my ruling/dominant planets ~ 4th house is my most powerful arena, after which comes 3rd. 3rd holds my Saturn (my 5h sun's ruler), and Mars Pluto conjunction - Scorpio. I wouldn't say I even try to be influential... I can be convincing, and I know I'm resilient... but these all fall in Gemini's (air) house. When I think about water in air combination - I think of storms at sea... then in 4th, where the majority of my placements fall, it's a water house combined with fire (Sagittarius), and "steam" is the first word that comes to mind... I have both rulers of Scorpio in their own domicile, and Jupiter in it's domicile, cnj Neptune and Mercury (my chart ruler), no less... but, I don't think IC placement, or SN placement is so powerful as those to the MC and North Node. So, having a strong (powerful) 4th house doesn't mean anything unless you're looking at family dynamics, and early/late life environment and virtues... lol My Sun is in it's house of power (5h naturally designated for Leo *usually*) but it's fire and earth~ which makes me think of the ever-burning subterranean fires of Centralia back home. lol Anyway, there are many things to consider... but, first is what kind of power you are looking to find... Could always look up people with this type of power from history, and see what they had most in common... lol But, it will likely be a combination of these things, and not any single aspect alone... I think minor aspects are more powerful than often given any credit for... "gifted" the Quintile aspects, and "obsessed/driven" the Quindecile aspects are also hallmarks to powerful beings~ but, again - the direction is restricted to house interactions, reception, dominance, and healthy or unhealthy application by the natal of those sometimes "tense" aspects themselves. The way these things play out differently depending on all these factors is evident when looking at world leaders... (Hitler compared to Lincoln for instance) ~ ^^; They have ridiculously interesting charts... (ftr - I didn't look at any of the symbols for these guys yet~ ^^; one day, I will... but with 15 different symbol systems to go through now... *IdonotlikeSabian* it'll be awhile before I ever get there! haha) There are also times when we are more powerful and in different ways than other times... what with progressions and transits... >.>; I'm not getting into those either right now, but they would certainly have some hold here, as would stars... - Eastern astrology styles would be "easier" to find explanations for those placements though. Again - not going into those right now... sorry. ~__~; *transits are killing my energy level & making havoc with meh health* IP: Logged |

this and money are actually my main interest in astrology lol! i never really even look at synastries. just as distraction/ amusement. quote: Have you ever wondered why some people have all the authority and power? What it takes to become a leader where you can have the power the ability to get things done and to enforce the collective will of some group over others? Legitimacy is a socially constructed and psychologically accepted right to exercise power. Is there something very unique or special about their BaZi or Four Pillars of Destiny? Yes, their BaZi must be unique and have what we called authority formation. If you do not have this authority formation can you still be a leader? Then you have to see your luck cycle. If your luck cycle aka Ta Yun provide the authority frame you can still be a leader but once the cycle is over your term will end.

I think power as inspiring respect, and having a lot of control is more of a Saturn thing. Pluto is intensity to me. Not necessarily power in that " I command respect and won't flinch an inch to please you" kind of way. A strong saturn and heavy capricorn placement can make someone have a lot of personal power. Especially true for men. IP: Logged |

i'm just researching these now but i know of them. it seems all rat years will have this star automatically. jupiter in capricorn.i'm also a day ox and rooster is in my hour pillar. rooster is old age though so i guess i will come into it in my 60's. 2 natally and 3 by transit in my 50's i believe so i have stuff to look forward to i suppose. Commander of General Star This star represents a military general, in the ancient times, it is associated with military services. If this star appears in your chart below, it indicates that you are someone brave and with good strategy. It also indicate that you are an ambitious person with authority, power, leadership, and influence; these excellent qualities could easily help you to land on a high ranking position in any business management or political environment. If you are sitting on your general star, meaning if it appears on your day branch, it would be hard to defeat you in a “battle”. If the star is favorable, you will shine and stand out in any crowd; but if it’s unfavorable, it will bring harm and blockage in life. Year/Day Branch Commander or General Star Yin (Tiger); Wu (Horse); Xu (Dog) Wu (Horse) Shen (Monkey); Zi (Rat); Chen (Dragon) Zi (Rat) Hai (Pig); Mao (Rabbit); Wei (Goat) Mao (Rabbit) Si (Snake); You (Rooster); Chou (Ox) You (Rooster) IP: Logged |

another system. this is the destiny palace or house 1 in western but not all scorpio risings are qi sha. (LMFAO @fighting tigers bare handed and wading rivers! #drama)七殺 Qi Sha Translated from here. - Yin Fire or Metal (Ding 丁, Xin 辛
- effectuates 將星 = 大將 dàjiàng = a senior general, a high-ranking officer [將 jiàng = a general; commander in chief, the chief piece in Chinese chess; to command, to lead] - this star betokens sternness, harshness; meeting Zi Wei Qi Sha becomes a representative of authority and power Looks, appearance: The eyebrows are slanting, the eyes big. The person has the appearance of bull-headed heroism; to fight tigers bare-handed and wade rivers. Disposition: The individual of Qi Sha vacillates between happiness and anger, delight and fury. The native is impatient and does not tend towards changelessness. Although the person can be of power and influence, he or she is also somewhat intense, vehement, and fierce. Personality type: Initiator (having the ability to make wise judgments). Individuality: Qi Sha enables might and bravery. There is emphasis on feelings and emotions. The person is particular about justice and righteousness. The individual is firm, unwavering, and resolute. He or she is stern and harsh. The native is fiery and forthright, upright and unyielding. The person is also short-tempered, irritable, hot-headed, and explosive. This star permits warfare, fights, battles. Qi Sha gives the means to authority and power and prestige. The individual additionally acts impetuously; to be swayed by one's emotions. Qi Sha brings about success or failure; life and death; and command and authority. This star permits power, might, and bravery. The native is akin to a person devising strategies in a military tent. The individual is rational and independent; to stand alone. The native charges forward; to charge and break through the enemy lines; to charge and shatter enemy positions; to fight bravely for a just cause; to go through water and tread on fire. The native of Qi Sha is extremely capable of getting used to stuff; to be adaptable to circumstances. The person is rather moved by justice and fairness. The individual loathes dallying and following routines without thinking about improvements. With Qi Sha the native is unable to make up his or her mind; to mutter to oneself irresolutely. The person is subject to changing moods; to have an unpredictable temper. In Ming or Shen the individual is of an indefinite frame of mind. Psychologically the native is sullen and heavyhearted, and feels perplexed and puzzled. Working and handling matters, he or she is liable to impulsiveness. Qi Sha in Ming when the person is young means being down on one's luck, to be full of frustrations and dashed hopes. And there could be a defect or fault what with the body. The individual of this star is not only particular about what has practical utility, what is functional. The native also emphasises famous brands. The person has a great craving for money and wealth. There is the probability that the individual will earn a fortune. But the odds are even higher that the native will charge and break through enemy lines and die in battle! The individual is seriously devoted to his or her work; to have professional ambition. Handling matters and working the native is determined, firm, decisive, rapid, and prompt. Regarding marriage... [?]. This star gives the means to a whole lot of adversity; to be separated in life and death; to part forever. Hence... [?]. Chen and Xu are called Tian Luo and Di Wang. These two palaces are favourable what with Qi Sha's unfolding. Qi Sha is the most fond of Tian Kui, Tian Yue, Zuo Fu, and You Bi. The Lu stars are capable of lessening the viciousness of Qi Sha. Peregrine thank you for the link. And thanks for all the inputs.
I was talking about influential power, and true, I could look up the charts of powerful people in my life and try to find common patterns. Socially influential people seem to be aries sun or moon. Ruthless power, that is more dark in nature seems to be associated with pluto. Sun pluto makes someone LOVE control, but I think ultimately pluto is best used if the person learns to control HIMSELF and not others. Pluto gives potential for self-empowerment. That´s why I love pluto, because self-power is the hardest thing to achieve. Aries people seem fabulous in their charisma, stremght and so on, but one has to remember that maybe it is not as hard for them to be so sunny and spread the joy becuase their feelings don´t run as deep. A person with alot of scor ofor example has so much more darkness within themselves to fight, so it takes maturity and much more inner strenght to stay positive, but ultimately they have more potential for healing power. I have always been obsessed with power, and I am very plutonic, but the more i crave it the more itslips through my hands. I have pluto conj asc mars conj asc pluto sextile sun pluto conj mars saturn conj moon (emotional self-control) but my asc sextile neptune and sun conjunction nptune aspects ruin it all! lol I feel like a pisces tbh, not very powerful.. However, the older I get the more I realise that I can use neptune to get in touch with God, and therefore find true power within myself. IP: Logged |

worldly power will be harder for you simply because you are a chick imo. a cop has some sort of power but he is a pawn in the greater scheme of things. worldly power and democracy also seem to bow to a collective. something pluto/ scorpio isn't so keen in doing. from what u mention in your chart u seem to have similar one to chloe sevigny. http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Sevigny,_Chloe IP: Logged | |
