Either way I suck at it LOL

mine is duplicated. it's gem again in placidus.

Gemini and Sagittarius Duplicated: Communications and travel are your way out of the problems caused by your intercepted signs . My own chart is a good example. I have Aries intercepted, which means I tend to daydream for a long time before taking action, and then dive in like I never thought about it before. With duplicated Gemini and Sagittarius, the way out is to read, study, and discuss proposed courses of action first (and then try to talk someone else into taking the action for you!). Don’t forget to check the aspects and the house and sign positions of Mercury and Jupiter for further information on these matters, and to see if there are contrary indicators.

Second and Third Houses, Eighth and Ninth Houses: You can’t just sit on your values (2nd house). They have to be communicated (3rd house). On the other side, values of the groups you belong to also have to be taught (9th house). Ross Perot shows this clearly. During the 1992 presidential campaign, he booked half hour segments on TV and used it to try to teach economics to the voters.

Oh, oops- you have Jupiter in your 4th. Well, in equal houses it's in your 3rd lol.

The ruler of your Midheaven, Uranus, is conjunct Neptune, so that certainly supports a career in tech (Uranus) and art (Neptune).

And you have Saturn in your 10th house, and it trines all those Gemini planets, so I know you'll be successful in whatever you do

Yeah, I did my BA in Political Science. I like studying politics, but it's just a bunch of BS at the end of the day! lol

Likewise. Hated school with a passion. Ironically, I went to university and went overboard solely to appease my father. No other reason.

I hate reading. That's why I never finished my PhD.

In fact, I'm lazy. I hate working. Period.

Hmmm...

Well, my 9th is empty but is ruled by Cancer.
My Moon's in the 3rd, sooo...

...I do have to really care about what I'm learning to learn it well, and I suck at rote facts and figures.
BUT I've been told by professor after professor that I write particularly evocative, engaging papers, and I'm eerily good at large-scale political prediction.

For example, I wish I still had the paper, but I watched one professor visibly pale while reading an in-person essay I wrote as a make-up for a test that I missed.
This was back in early 2003, and I laid out exactly what I thought would happen if the US invaded Iraq.
I was right point-for-point.

Edited to add: If I suddenly became independently wealthy, I'd probably take classes and travel for the rest of my life.

Annnnd, of course,

*looks at husband's chart*

Empty, but ruled by Saggie with Jupiter in the 2nd conj. Sun...

...Hm.
Well, education is extremely important to him.
Neither of his parents attended college, but he's working on his 2nd Master's and flirted with the idea of going for a PhD in his first area of study before he worked in academia for a bit and realized that it wasn't for him.

He's also traveled internationally quite a bit in connection with his education.

Lol... you turned out fine. You will turn out fine.

I never believed in education as the most important thing in a person's life.. it's what one made use of his education... I hated the education system where i live where it emphasised on academic excellence. To me, a lot of scholars/graduates end up in govt jobs - stable and stable and well stable. That's what they are look for.. nothing ambitious. I have friends who barely had their degree and yet living better than those who were so called academically superior. Some of them are self-made millionaires. My dad did not have much education because he just wasn't interested in it... yet, he owned his own company from scratch. I admire ppl who roll with what life gives, and succeed. Success does not see which family background one is from, what education one comes from, it only sees the end result. Success is just success.

That said, I am proud of my education and what it taught me. But I know, I need more than that to reach what i want.

Gemini Venus in 9th house exact trine Aquarius moon and Libra Mars-Pluto, exact square Virgo Saturn. Ruler of 9th house in 10th house.

Scorpio cusp, Uranus in 9th. I am for lifelong learning. Uranus took its toll. When I wanted to go to the University I suddenly could not, when I did not want, I could. I finished University and yes, I was a clever student :-D.

These replies are amazing! Really surprised at how there are two pages already. I've read them all and it's nice to see how all of your stories matched the sign and planets. Some of you are really living out your chart!

Sorry it hasn't turned out as well as some of you would like it to be.

My 9th house cusp falls into Gemini with a part of it being Cancer, where I also have my Jupiter (conjunct Midheaven). Ceres in Gemini as well, which totally fits me. I love talking to my classmates about the classes. I'm very scatterbrained and wish I could concentrate better. School's tough, I'm struggling to keep up with the material, but I don't want to quit. I've taken a two-year-course in advance to even get into this class and it's very expensive, I can't give up now.

Rulers, uhm... Mercury in the 12th. Moon in the 4th. My 3rd house is Sagittarius with my Uranus in Capricorn at the end. I study parttime and do distance learning at home. Jupiter opposes Saturn on the IC, which makes me feel stuck at home sometimes. I go through phases of taking it easy and working my butt off.

VERY similar to mine. I find having signs on the opposite houses they rule (the case with Libra rising) to be particularly challenging. Libra ascendant can be tough. How can Gemini approach higher education when it's Sagittarius that is traditionally associated with this and Gemini must reach out in a challenging aspect (opposition?) To me, it suggests I will only recieve 50% of house benefit with Libra ascending.

9th House Virgo/Libra cusp.

I have a BSc Computer Science: Game Development and I'm working towards a second degree(BSc in Geomatics).

I'm planing on completing a MSc a year from now, either in Earth Science(Geology) or Software Engineering. I just have to maintain my CGPA.

Not a big fan of Bachelor of Arts or Master in Arts degrees. I think they've become ubiquitous over the years and almost everyone holds at least a BA. Competition is much harder with a BA, while a BSc is a different story.

You have to consider that education and the level obtained has to do more with culture, parents and level of wealth.

For example I live in Ottawa and the culture here is people get a general BA, work for the government and never achieve anything more.

Compared to Toronto where I'm actually from, the culture is more Business oriented so the level of education obtained is much higher.

Haha, yes, the trouble with Libra rising. I don't think it's that bad, but it is difficult with the chart flipped upside down. It takes, uhm, balance to get both houses on each axis fulfilled. I think rulers become even more important - where you have Jupiter and Mercury.

In my case, I found out I have ADHD during my last education (still college). It always made me insecure and gave me trouble about the way I think and talk (Mercury in the 12th), because I didn't know why I kept overlooking and forgetting super obvious things. Only now do I really feel I can improve and keep learning because I know what my problem is.

What other aspects do your Mercury and Jupiter make? Both in the 12th conjunct, ouch, that must've been a struggle. Has your Ascendant been any kind of help for you?

I think I was a lot more into teaching others, optimistic and adventurous as a child (Sagittarius). It kind of feels like you're doing everything in life the other way around.

9H Jupiter Aries

square my 6H sun.

Jupiter, my dominant planet, makes a lot of other aspects as well, but I just want to remark on its hard aspect to the sun.

I wanted to drop out of college after one semester and still regret not doing so. It wasn't for me. I did graduate with honors, it's not that I was struggling, I just couldn't learn about the things I really, really wanted to learn about.

Now that I am teaching myself, it's a much better situation.

In my case, I wouldn't call it that good, lol. I was diagnosed ADHD. The Libra/Virgo stellium conjunct Libra Ascendant gives me too much unwanted attention irl at times. I am much more comfortable behind a computer screen, hidden away, somewhat, but not fully. I have always had so much attention and it doesn't really benefit me that much. Just stresses me out, lol. Maybe that's because those planets are all in house twelve and very close to the ascendant. House twelve is full of all sorts of complexes. I like the idea that I am more hidden than Jupiter allows. I keep hoping I will experience posthumus fame connected to my intellect. This is fame that will be hidden from me because I will be dead but exists nonetheless. Reminds me of this twelfth house scenario.

I have a Virgo MC at 29 degrees showing my perfectionistic tendencies with work. How I want so much to be more creative and free but letting go of details is hard for me.

My 9th house is in Leo. I have Chiron conjunct my Moon there. Only my Moon is really conjunct my MC loosely. My Virgo Moon squares my Sagittarius rising. To me, this says how I can be emotionally closed-off and less sensitive than I appear because I am very emotionally invested in my work, writings, and professional life. I feel having my Moon posited here was my destiny to care so much about work and feel emotionally comfortable far from home, and I intend to travel much soon. My Moon trines Uranus.

But the fact that my 9H Moon-Chiron is almost-opposite/quindecile my 3H Saturn shows how I have always struggled with feeling so endlessly weighted down with school work, anxiety, and not enough fun. I feel like university and higher study is just an extension of the hell of K-12. I just want to get away and yet I know I am smart enough to do well... I just hate school from my early experiences.
