Yeah. I would like to enroll at the Le Cordon Bleu. Like to join me? And then we can spend a couple days at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. . That's my favorite racetrack. Enough to shrink egos. IP: Logged |

@Faith: Self-teaching is great. You get to take things at your own pace and really get a feel of the material. Very nice. Glad you've found some peace this way. Still enjoying it?@StarlightSmileSupreme: I totally get that'd make you uncomfortable. Sometimes it feels so much better to blend in with everyone. And with the Libra/Virgo it feels like you have to react to them and give them what they want or else you'll get even more of a rough time. The 12th makes it so confusing. You don't seem too stressed over here, if it helps. Hope you'll get rid of that pressure before that posthumous fame, though! @12muddy: Your job and studies are such a Leo/Virgo combination. Shame about the tuition fund. With some of those educations I wonder how people are able to pay for it. @sweet-scorpion: Being a perfectionist really is a double-edged sword, isn't it? Hard to let go of but even harder to live up to all of these standards... With it being at work, that'd be even worse. Oh, and there should be a Corban Bleu class. Learning about cheeses all day can't be too bad. IP: Logged |

Meissieri: Yeah I know, when I’m at work I feel like a Virgo all clean and neat. And I’m such a textbook example of the 12th house stellium – work in hospitals. I’m actually glad that I chose nursing though, the program I wanted was engineering and judging on my personality, I think I would have quitted if I enrolled. When I was younger I wanted to be an artist, so I took lessons at an art college in preparation. Now my skills are a bit rusty, I still paint for fun. Silver smithing /jewellery making serves as a creative outlet, and making “useful” things, that is so cap =))

I feel like a total non Virgo. I think it's because of the Virgo 12th house cusp thing. IP: Logged |

@Starlight: You don't? Hmm. Those planets are in the 12th, so maybe you feel more like a Pisces?@12muddy: It really is. Played out so literally. Oh, I totally see why the jewellery would make all of your very happy. I bet they'll look good on you. And it makes a really nice, unique gift for others as well, if you ever intend on making them for somebody else. I think with those placements you have Aquarius as your Ascendant, right? Haha, I see. Being one-of-a kind with the creativity as well. As for me (because this all got me thinking again), I'm doing what my chart wants, too. Communication sign on the 9th cusp with Mercury quintile Jupiter in that same 9th. Foreign language. Creatively. (You'll need it with the differences in languages.) Virgo Mercury loves the details and that's very important for translations. IP: Logged |

My theory is I repress the Virgo qualities because of the 12th house cusp (house twelve is about hidden, concealed things.) I also feel weird about the Virgo qualities, like they are impossible for me to ever live up to. I cannot be this super smart, well organized person who has a photographic memory and can solve any practical problem. I also, and this sounds bad, hate being of service to others. That's the most unVirgo part of this. Total lack of service. Okay, not completely, but I often want to be waited on instead of waiting on others. This must be due to Leo and Libra. Venus in Leo sextiles the Libra planets which might be why I feel I should be served and dislike serving even though I am a Virgo sun. I also don't like to clean up after people, either, and neither does anyone in my family. Have a lot of 12th house planets in the family through generations. We are a 12th house family! IP: Logged |

That could be it. Plus stressing out over the idea of responsibility and all of these standards that come with it. Like you don't want to feel like a maid or that you only give and never get anything in return? Your Leo wants appreciation from people, which you will make clear. And without feeling validated, it ends there. But I read on some blogs that the 12th house is only hidden from you. It's very possible that others do see that hard-working, helpful side in you. It's so difficult sometimes, though. If people ever like me, I barely pick up on it with my Merc and Venus hidden. Haha, so they won't be cleaning up their closets anytime soon? Hmm. Well. Does it matter who you help? Like... just not liking to clean up after people you don't really care about or not after anyone period. I'm kind of curious for the degrees now! I guess I'll start. 21 degrees Leo (Sun), 6 Virgo (Mars), 14 Virgo (Mercury), 25.5 Virgo (Venus & Juno) and 6 degrees Libra for my Ascendant. I'm going to laugh so hard if you end up conjuncting those with your planets. IP: Logged |

I think it's something that others notice, unfortunately. I am sorta self absorbed and don't like getting involved. I spend a lot of time in my own little world. I like my own little world a bit too much. My chart starts with 9 degrees Libra for the ascending degree (very close to yours,) sun is around 9 degrees Virgo, moon is 27 Taurus, Mercury 6 Libra, Venus 5 Leo, Mars 18 Sagittarius, Jupiter 8 degrees Libra (it is more than 8 degrees which puts it less than a degree away from 9 Libra. Ascendant is exactly 9 Libra for some reason. I am rounding degrees to make it easier on my memory...) Saturn 8 degrees Taurus, Uranus 2 degrees Libra, Neptune 26 degrees Scorpio and Pluto 24 Virgo. I also have Chiron at 5 degrees Aries in house 6 close to the descending degree. You ascending degree is conjunct my natal Mercury. IP: Logged |

KarkaQueen: Sorry I didn't make the title clear enough for you. I can't edit the title anymore, but again, sorry, I was confusing. You can talk about what you think your 9th means to you if you want. StarlightSmileSupreme: (Can I just say Starlight?) Oh, but daydreaming/own world can be so good. <3 Especially if you want to get away from that kind of pressure with people wanting all of these things from you. Haha, even our Ascendants are conjunct. And Pluto-Venus. I have Jupiter at 2-3 degrees Cancer, Saturn 7 and Neptune 9 degrees Capricorn, Uranus 1.5 degrees Cap and Pluto 12.5 Scorpio. Oh and Chiron 13 degrees Cancer. It's... interesting how quick you start remembering them. Way easier to round them off, yes. @12muddy: Yes, I am. I've been part of writing comms since I was a teenager, but even before that I would make up stories all the time. They're big, lol. So Jupiter. Used to like poems quite a bit! It does fit, right? Ah, close. So you identify with both signs Since your whole 1st house is the latter. And hoarding is cool. Some stuff just looks good. Wow that's more Capricorn/Leo blending there. @venusianman: You take everything your 9th house is about towards another house, where the ruler of your 9th house sign is. IP: Logged |

I dropped out of high school, got my high school equivalency and started college at 16. I received a 2 year degree in fine art, and then a 4 year degree in nursing.I'm planning to go back for dual masters degrees and eventually a doctoral degree. My 9th house cusp is in Scorpio. I also have Pluto in Scorpio in my 9th. Pluto is sextile my Sun, Mercury, Neptune and Saturn, trine my Chiron in Cancer/6th and quintile my Venus. I also have Jupiter in Leo/6th conjunct Chiron and trine MC. Saturn and NN in 12th. I loved college. I pretty much threw myself into research, and spent a lot of time in the library. I took my classes seriously and treated them like a full-time job. But I also had a good time and made a lot of friends. I miss it and I can't wait to persue a graduate education. No quoting please. I have Leo on the 9H cusp. No planets in there. But my Sun is in my 2H...conjunct NN (exact) and loosely conjunct Saturn.I do like college. I'm currently a student. But I'm still undergrad. I've been undergrad for 4yrs now. I still have probably 4-5yrs until I get my bachelors in biology..I wanna get my PhD too. But everything is taking longer for me than most. I almost dropped out of high school but managed to get my high school diploma from a continuation program. I didn't start college until 21. I've already accepted that I'm not like other students and I 'm just a slow learner. I'm not sure if I feel the "Leo" energy here, I feel more Saturn/NN energy b/c of the conjunction. IP: Logged |

9th house, Leo with Saturn conjunct the MC. (Mars in 9th, squaring sun and asc)I dropped out of college once, uni once, deferred a year, completed my final year remotely, overseas and was accused of plagiarism partly because of being remote (later retracted). I later did a separate foundation in art and went onto a second degree - which I so loved - but the government here raised the fees for second degrees the same year and I had to leave. Tutors have either loved me or hated me. (Jupiter in cancer opposite moon in sag) we've been close like family or had a kind of enemy r/ship (nemesis conjunct Jupiter). I love education but I always felt the Saturn weight that I shouldn't just pass existing knowledge through myself but invent something new. This has meant I've pleased some and annoyed other parts of academia. The main reason I was accused of plagiarising my dissertation was because it was of 'an ma if not PhD standard' in the tutors words. The more I've cared or had passion for something ... That's been the obstacle. I also feel I've accued knowledge, managed to work better as a student than translating this into arenas outside of education. IP: Logged |

@florenceI've had that problem too. An advanced placement history teacher (in high school) accused me of plagiarism for writing a research paper because it "was clearly written by a college student". She thought I had paid a college student to write it for me. She eventually retracted it too and gave me an A, but I was pretty much fed up with secondary school by that point. Once I got to college, an anthropology professor told me my paper should've been written by a graduate student, though thankfully she didn't accuse me of plagiarism. IP: Logged |

Saturn ,i enroled to fashion and design uni but couldnt go due to lack of money,my sister who has same placement decided to go to nursing high schoold, but i am afraid money will again be an obstacle for her to finish it - either way if she does she will have 2 high school diplomas.I HATED HIGH SCHOOL , i dont like memorizing everything and calling it studyng,i was lazy and uninspired student. Teachers either loved me or they didnt, some of them were friends of my family memmbers and even though they hellped other students out they ignored me... i had an argument with my history teacher because he said i was way too much absent from his classes, and even when i proved that that is not true,he continued claiming it....Geopgraphy and PE teachers also disliked me.... I understand importance of diploma, but i dont know if i will go back to uni IP: Logged |

Wow... this must be the first time in the 3 years I've been a member here that one of my threads gets bumped. The first thread I made, too. Wow. I don't know whether to feel weird or interested reading back all of that. And since I've been away here for so long, I am sorry to everyone here I haven't talked to in so long, I totally neglected contact here sorry Just busy, personal problems and losing interest because of said problems...
I'll use this as a chance to apologize to all of you as well. As for the thread, well that Chiron conjunct the MC is really taking over (it also sextiles 9th H ruler tightly... didn't know a sextile could affect that much), but I do feel like it's hard to find an education that really suits me, isn't too hard and demanding intellectually (which was usually the case for me dropping out or down a grade in school). And the stuff that I like only has courses in it, not a full education. Grr. But I have Ceres here so I love learning and education and tend to be helpful to classmates and such... IP: Logged |

Hello! I have my 9th house in Capricorn and Aquarius. I have Saturn, MC, and North Node in my 9th house.I also have Jupiter in Cancer house 2. I little about me... I started community college when I was 20. I was pretty indecisive about what I should be going to school for, but at least I was getting credits under my belt. So that when I finally made up my mind at 24 I had almost all of my general ED's done. I graduated on Saturday with an Associates in Early Childhood Education. I still have one more class to complete and I will get my degree mailed. I'm so proud of my self for doing this, especially cause college never appealed to me growing up. And college campus did not seem exiting to me. I'm open to continuing on to a bachelor's and such. But I am so taking time off to just enjoy working, and having free time after work. More higher education is in the stars for me since I have a Satrun return in my 9th house happening in a few years from now. Those of you who are into asteroids, I have Child conjunct MC and N. node house 9. Which is what I work and go to school for. IP: Logged |

Gemini. (Mercury in Virgo in 12th) I was not at all social or talkative. I prefer to be alone, work alone, study alone.... Everything alone. Memory came easily, naturally. I'm very curious by nature and look things up, anything really. Learning for me is very relaxing. It eases me and makes me happy. Whether or not I'm on Kahn Academy online, another website and learning unofficially or enrolled in a college. I love it.

My 9th house is ruled by Cancer, and my Moon's (Gemini Moon) only affliction is the exact opposition to Pluto. I feel like this would be a helpful position for my schooling and learning. It wasn't until my 8th grade year when my intelligence really started to shine, which first came about during my ninth grade math pre-assessment. The average score was an 18 out of 32 questions, and I got a whopping 28. Apparently that was an honor student's score, which is why I'll be taking AP Calculus AB my senior year This junior year though has been hardest for me due to the stupid Saturn transiting my second house whilst conjunct my Pluto and Opposite my Moon. Ugh, I will never be proud of this year (except for my improvement in social status and the friends I've made). Hopefully my higher education goes well for me ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. Moon in 9th, Aries. It's at the Apex of a Yod with Chiron sextile Pluto. It's square Uranus and Neptune in the 6th, trine mars in the 1st, trine Sun/Mercury in the 5th. I'm pursuing higher education in art, and it's definitely a huge part of my life that's shaped my character. High school was a total joke and I spent most of it skipping classes, but I think college has actually been very necessary for me, surprisingly.IP: Logged | |
