My observations, generally speaking...Fire signs: quick to forgive and get over it, but that quickness can dwindle. Often have begrudging and cold streaks.
Earth signs: take it in, and can forever hold their peace about it, while it accumulates in their minds.
Air signs: overlook slights at first, but can become quite confrontational. But they forget really easily.
Water signs: often pretty mellow, will let things slide, may stew in negative feelings without much action. IP: Logged |

Fire Moons ususally forgive quite easily unless really afflicted/highly Plutonian.Earth signs are the ones who can keep grudges for-everrrr (especially Taurus, omg). Not sure about Air signs.. I've known quite a few unforgiving Geminis.. they can hold a grudge. Water signs, it depends. I think some can find it hard to forgive but they usually don't -like- to hold grudges. It's like they want to forgive but it's difficult for them (especially Scorpio).

Those gemini must have scorpio/taurus or strong pluto
85 percent of my chart is air.
I can get very confrontational but I usually forget about things in a matter of minutes unless someone keeps on annoying me.
I've forgave people who've pretty much betrayed me and got me into **** situations.
I think grudes are really a waste of energy.
Its also a characteristic of very emotional and sensitive individuals. Anyways air signs are all about fairness and equality, so they will atleast give a second chance. IP: Logged |

Your observations sounds about right in my opinion. In my experience, Virgos and Scorpios are pretty prejudice and pretty much absolutely refuse to forgive if they are slighted. Also, some signs/placements like Capricorn and Libra pretend to forgive just to keep the peace, or because they have no interest in discussing the matter, but, will then gossip about whomever slighted them.IP: Logged |

Sorry but I've never seen anyone hold a grudge like a water sign (particularly Cancer moons!) it kind of makes me sick how long they can cling to something and manipulate the situation to their advantage at any given moment. They hold guilt trips like nobodys business and they might say they forgive in order to martyr themselves but whether they actually do forgive is a completely different story.I'm a Scorp moon with Cancer rising. Its in my nature to do this and I actually had to step outside of myself and make a conscious decision that I didn't want to be like that in order to make the tendencies stop. My dad has scorp sun with moon conjunct Pluto in leo. He can hold a grudge forever!!!! Lolmy mom and I are both sags with fire moons. Neither of us is capable of holding a grudge. We are both very confrontational, though. IP: Logged |

I also have a gemini moon.I'm the same way.Pluto doesn't aspect my venus.But I do take alot before I decide to not forgive and cut someone off.I once read that it takes alot of emotional mistreatment for a gemini to feel that way.It's true for me. IP: Logged |

So true....we have a high tolerance but once we say enough, that is usually it. I can cut all ties & treat you like a stranger. People hate that about me sometimes...I won't speak about you or say anything bad, you just no longer exist.

I'm understanding but when someone crosses the line, I don't forgive easily. And even if do, it doesn't mean I still want that person in my life. I never forget. And I could cut off anyone, even family.------------------

What are we forgiving here? Somebody forgetting to return your call, pick up milk from grocery, giving mean comments or something like domestic violence, murder or rape. I am Scorpio with Aries moon and I would forgive small stuff fairly easily. I agree I find it difficult to forgive big stuff as it needs time to understand on how much I was responsible or not. I have been in domestic violence broken family and raped. It is fairly easy to be a victim here. I would like to ask whether how each sign can get over something like this and how much forgiveness would anybody would be ever to be. As Forgiveness is ok, like not being angry and stuff but keeping those relationships after that is tough. There are lots of people say Forgive it and let past go away but it does feel how do you move on? Most importantly how much contact would each of sign continue with abuser.
Wouldn't you want to protect yourself from same harm. Isn't that how we all are? Christians and everyone seems to say forgive people, if that was the case. We wouldn't need legal systems and prisons. If you would let people be not blame and say circumstances made them do it. They would never learn. At times it is very well left to Karma. I am all for that but maybe for big stuff it is difficult. I have hear at time stories about father setting free his son's killer. I admire him but sorry I guess my rational mind thinks it is sheer madness. I wouldn't agree with Water. In my experience, those with a lot of Scorpio almost never forgive (and certainly don't forget), and Pisces tends to put up with a lot, but once they snap they're not likely to forgive. I understand Cancers are supposed to be that way as well, once you hurt them they go into their shell and back away from you, though the one Cancer I really ticked off forgave me (he seemed extremely grateful that I didn't hold a grudge over his meltdown toward me). But I know a Cancer girl who will...hmm, hard to say, perhaps it's best to say she'll grudgingly tolerate a lot (she reminds me of Hermione Granger, btw, in her dynamics with others), but say something bad about her family and she'll treat you with contempt and doesn't seem inclined to let it go. I am sorry, I do find it bit judgmental but then again so is astrology. I feel every person is different. Fixed Moons or not I guess. Every sign might have a time frame as well to forgive. I really find that some people who say you should just forgive sometimes do not understand hurt they caused and do not make appropriate amends and have patience to get forgiveness. If offending party behavior has drastically changed and shows genuine empathy. I do not see why somebody wouldn't forgive no matter what sign it is. More often people who do not get forgiven is because 1. Offending party do not acknowledge that they have hurt at all or take responsibility of their actions.
2. Offending party behavior doesn't change
3. Offending party doesn't have enough patience to let hurt party lick their wounds.
4. Offending party thinks that everything should get back to normal and behave as if nothing ever happened when quiet the contray hurtful person wants. I do know that this shouldn't matter when you are forgiving and to expect that is not right, but most people do. I do not see why somebody should definitely forgive everyone or people who can forgive should feel smug about themselves. Most people who say that they should forgive, knows how guilty they themselves are but are never willing to admit it. Some people like Justin Bieber some don't.
Some people are capable of unconditional love and some aren't. Forgiveness is personal preference. (but maybe not there might be astrological data on these things as well) ;-) IP: Logged |

Just out of curiosity Pixie Jane: When someone gives forgiveness is one thing but taking forgiveness is another. How many times even if you have been forgiven and they have said it, maybe you have judged or thought back by "oh ! you are Scorpio. You are not one of the person who easily forgives and forget, so you are not going to ever forgive me?" I don't think it has only got to do with just other people forgiving someone but also personally has someone forgiven themselves is big thing. IP: Logged |
