I'm pretty Jupiterian (0 degree Libra Jupiter conjunct AC) and for Jupiter to manifest, it's more of an attitude, philosophy, way of thinking. It's not concrete and goal targeting the way Mars and Sun works.Jupiter is suppose to represent ideology and philosophy and although there's "luck and fortune" involved, but it's not necessarily in the concrete form that people often mistakenly think of (money, getting away stuff, etc.) Jupiter is high minded. The lesson of Jupiter is to be generous, merciful, law abiding (Jupiter rules lawyers), good natured, caring, and being a good provider. Those ideal and moral characteristics lead to good "luck and fortune" as that generally makes a person virtuous and strong and that's supposed to be the reward in it of itself. IP: Logged |

Jupiter is a bit of puzzle to me, because I don't think i've ever felt pure Jupiter energy from my own chart. For other people yes, but in my chart it's very afflicted:--in retrograde --conjunct retrograde Sag Neptune --opposing Gem Venus/Gem Amor/Tau Saturn conjunction It's in Scorpio and in my 3rd house. This mega-opposition is in my 3rd-9th house axis.
I have a hard time telling my Jupiterian traits from my Mercurial, Neptunain, Venusian and Saturnine ones--that opposition blends them all together. I'm generous to a fault, love to give to my friends, and I come across as bouyant and optimisitc when I'm in good health. I'm perhaps prone to be overconfident of my abilities, especially my intellect, despite my low self-esteem. I judge people by their intelligence, competency and compassion and not by personality or charisma, have studied philosophy and theology in grad school, am very forward-thinking and progressive in my values, I love traveling and I see the world and all the people in it as one big adventure. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and I love languages. I at any given time am studying 3-6 different languages (right now--6 ). I love nature and animals, and am a strong advocate for animal welfare and for the environment. I am not power-hungry, authoritarian or a ladder climber. In fact, the concept of a career path is confusing and uncomfortable to me. I just want to drift through this life and experience all I can. My Neptune singleton (my only planet in a fire sign) makes me feel like I'm only passing through this world, like my true home is nowhere on this planet, so I have a bit of melachony restlessness that I alleviate by pursuing knowledge and friendship. Power is an illusion to me. Knowledge, understanding and connecting to other living beings is what matters. I believe in being authoritative, i.e. knowing your **** before you go and talk like an expert, but I loath blind adherence to authority. Such people are as dangerous as they are stupid, if you ask me. Never be afriad to question authority. IP: Logged | |
