Im sure its Cancer, being ruled by the Moon y'know.. and being the mother.I also notice women with more Cancer placements act and look more "female" than women with Piscean placements women with piscean placements act more helpless and spiritual and cancerian placements are more domesticated and moody I dont know whats with this Cancer bias, maybe the home and family stuff doesn't appeal to society. I guess escapism and drugs is more appealing. IP: Logged |

Not for me, Cancer women I've met have been pretty headstrong but still sensitive to an extent. They're also a Cardinal sign.Pisces ruled by neptune, radiating smile, big pools of emotion in their eyes, very forgiving when Neptune is involved, a damsel in distress, is she aware of how close she is to getting burned? That's the great mystery of Pisces and Neptune.. are they aware? Are they just swimming around giggling at us material people who can't be so youthful and loving. And i mean lets face it, a lot of them LOOK feminine some of the most beautiful women are Pisces or women with Neptune in the first or on their ascendant. Also, don't act like Cancers don't try to escape as well, in fact I'd say anyone who is emotive and sensitive does this ever so often. Also the last line, that's pretty bitter sounding. I don't know if it was or not, either way I actually do understand the mindset of escapism and drugs. So maybe I'm the biased one. . . Hmm. IP: Logged |

i have Neptune conjunct my Ascendant, and a strong Neptune. I'm sure not biased. XDI think Cancerian men are more feminine than Piscean men, but Pisces is more idealistic i dont get it Moon is ruled by the woman, why is it Less female than neptune - a feminine planet but very far? IP: Logged |

I don't think it's because of the ruling planet (before Neptune was discovered, Jupiter was considered to rule Pisces) but because of Pisces being mutable and water. Cancer is cardinal water and Scorpio is fixed water. Mutable signs are considered to be soft and yielding and water signs are also soft and yielding, so Pisces gets a double dose of "femininity". Maybe this is why Venus is considered to be exalted in Pisces. IP: Logged |

I think thats a modern interpretation.Linda Goodman IIRC stated Cancer to be the most feminine of the Sign. In fact the Pisces being effeminate is a pretty modern thing from I've noticed comparing modern Astrology and Astrology before Goodman made it mainstream. IP: Logged |

Perhaps because Pisces is stereotypically thought to be very sensitive, emotional and having some emotional frailties. Of course, really it depends on other placements and aspects whether someone is truly Piscean on the whole. IP: Logged |

Because the masculine signs are stuff like Leo and Libra. Pisces is considered one of the feminine signs according to that technical classification. Also, just in a general sense, Pisces is typically a very mellow, gentle energy, which typically tends to get associated with femininity by most people. Same thing tends to happen with things like Mars in Cancer when in actuality some of the best fighters and athletes have Mars in Cancer. IP: Logged |

because Cancer is ruled by the moon and the moon phases change and it reflects a womans period and mood, thus why cancerians and the sign is moody and tempermental. thats not masculine at all o_oIP: Logged |

And I know plenty of idiots who don't smoke weed, what's your point? Also this is a strawman of a question. Who said that Pisces was the *most* feminine sign to begin with? Pisces is a feminine sign, to be sure and Venus (an arguably feminine planet) is exalted in Pisces. Which is more feminine, Venus or the Moon? And really, going by these standards, shouldn't Taurus be the most feminine sign? It's ruled by Venus, the Moon is exalted in it. IP: Logged |

Popular media portrays Pisces as this. Best examples that come to mind is Pisces Aphrodite from Saint Seiya. IP: Logged |

My point is, I am biased towards it.If you payed enough attention to what I said, you would come to that conclusion. A lot of people, especially in modern astrology. Yes, then Cancer rules the Moon. I think Taurus and Cancer are very female from my experience.
Pisces is too, but from a lesser degree. yuck IP: Logged |

Then popular media always portray other bullsh**. But that doesn't make it true, now does it. I don't see what you guys go on about. Leo is a hypermasculine sign too. Not Aries. o_o IP: Logged |

just seems wrong, cancer is the mother and moon is the eptiomte (excuse my language, but i could care less of my misspelling) of the woman and she's related to their mood swings and menarche, also stages in life (crone, motherhood, maiden) if you go by occult religions too.IP: Logged |

I don't really see either Pisces or Cancer as being really feminine. Feminine is too defined, and I notice in general water signs seem to just float around in some grey area. The most feminine ladies I know are Libras. Tauro girls seem pretty tomboyish and neutral, actually. But like amowls said, WHO has said that Pisces is the most feminine sign? Is there even really a "most feminine" sign to begin with? And more importantly, what's your problem? I asked you in a previous thread, but you make big deals out of trivial facts, and when the negative attention surely comes, you, as my Cancer friend in real life would say, pussyfoot around other perspectives. I am sorry. Pisces is feminine sign because by telling everyone how rude they are they feels righteous and superior ! They love to portray they are being polite and nice, just my experience. IP: Logged |

Hmmm I DO understand others perspectives, but it doesn't convince me. Your idea of femininity seems to be just dressing pretty and looking nice, but that goes deeper than that too. Other astrologers said that, I learned from them. do you want to call them stupid, too? IP: Logged |

How do I "pussyfoot" around others?Every time I challenge general thinking every one flips or gets mad It's not that Im avoiding it, I just don't know WHY is that and WHY you think that. It just doesn't seem too credible to me, of course other people convinced me other wise before but its not specific enough IP: Logged |
