Your placements with one another look fine to me, your Taurus venus should make you earthly and mitigate this Gemini-Virgo friction.

With "assertive" I meant yes... that he looks capable of action (Ive seen personally that men who have Mars in feminine signs, even when they have an air or fire sun, can be very passive). So I think that he is capable of coming after you if he really decides to do so.

The only red flag is that you got close and intimate (I presume you slept with him?) too quickly, omitting the courtship phase. He basically got all of you at light´s speed.

Is he in his fifties... ?

I was BETTING on some major Aries placements going on here within the first paragraph. I hate to say it but, I think you got played here. Its pretty common for men with a lot of Aries in the chart to be the love em and leave em type. They get wrapped up in the passion of it all and then either become bored with it or need to find a way out of it. You're not really dealing with his Virgo Sun here, you're dealing with his Aries Moon/Mars.

Ok so down to him then. We slept together yes but he'd said he loved me far before that. And actually it wasn't like every time after that we met and slept together. It felt right to do it and actually it was him suggesting we go at my pace not desperately pushing me to do it. It wasn't the biggest thing in our connection. He said before we had done that that for him it was important but not the biggest thing as he felt we were above it. He is 24...

Oh no really? That's so horrible, why would he go to sooooo much effort to play me? He said himself if he was after a fling why would he keep driving 220 mile round trip to see me? Espesh when doing a full day at work which did kinda add up. Damn his aries placements. I am so gutted that he played me I really wanted to believe that he was a nice guy. How am I meant to believe in anyone after all this. I genuinely feel crushed and used

Interesting though that he has only been in long term relationships if he is a player type....?

completely agree. it's rarely the sun sign that we're dealing with in our (intimate)interactions w/people, but some manifestation of their moon/venus/mars or a sign afflicted or in a house placement that just doesn't 'gel' with us

Oh, it was there. Thats how you got all the sweet words and "I love you". My venus is in Cancer too, it makes me quite romantic but my mars in Leo makes it pretty easy for me to drop em if I'm not satisfied. Anyone can have a fling no matter how sweet their placements are, likewise anyone can have a solid relationship no matter how flighty they chart indicates they are.

Are you SURE he's only had long-term and he wasn't just telling you that so that you'd let your guard down?

I can also offer that it is possible that he did FEEL what he said in the moment. Myself and other Cancer Venus' I know have a tendency to romanticize people and situations, until the moment passes/reality sets in. This guy sounds like he knew what he was doing though, honestly the things you were saying that he said sounds JUST like a guy I dated in high school that was trying to get me to give it up. Didn't happen...he still tries to hit me up sometimes the suckaaaa.

in general, for a man... venus is what he needs to find someone attractive/likeable initially, so you probably have many softer/womanly/homemaker/earthy-type qualities that piqued his interest. venus takes a backseat once men get intimate - their moon/mars signs generally come forward and you need to 'touch' those to maintain their interest... generally :-)

Well he friended me on Facebook and I can see the photos etc over the years. His last rship the girl had a little girl, not his, and he brought her up practically. He's still concerned now about whether that little girl will have a steady influence in her life now him and his ex broke up so he seemed to be quite responsible. His parents knew all about me in the end, he showed me the messages from his mum when I went to stay with him asking about me. I don't think he would have gone to the bother if he saw me as just a conquest. I could be wrong though. Just seems like a lot of effort on his part for a lay you know. Well not just effort it's majorly OTT when he could have just got the same with a lot less hassle and still a challenge.

Well then he is a total nasty b4stard. I told him I had been messed about before and he reassured me time and again that he is real and going nowhere... And then he did. Even when we had the space conversation and even on Monday, our last contact, he said I have to stop thinking that he played me or stitched me up because its not him, he really wished things had been different and it could work. I guess I just find it hard not to believe him, he owes me nothing especially now. He told me when we met that he is quite picky so that he doesn't need to worry about second thoughts - I thought that was a very virgo thing to say. And yet he still maintains that he will regret this decision forever and that I am the one, even though I almost pushed him to say his feelings had changed he would not say it. He kept maintaining its exactly how he feels. Weirdo!

That's interesting and great for me to know in the future, so is the moon/mars the things that keep the guy interested long term? If you match there? Ie my moon/venus/mars placements must not have have matched his? I just wonder because if our venus matches and our moons seems to work , I don't know if libra/aries mars matches...I just wonder. I'd love to know for the future what to look for. It's strange because I thought that our emotions synced up and that we were enough different And spontaneous coupled with the emotional steadiness of our venus. I looked at our charts quite a lot before getting into this but I obviously missed a trick. So anyone with double aries on the moon/mars is going to be a love and leave them type?

Funnily enough this random lady on the street came up to me today and was a psychic and she suddenly started telling me that this guy in my life is like a Robbie Williams type lol. I was like is he??? But you guys have confirmed it right now. how interesting. She said he will be backwards and forwards in my life like he has been, until July., that's why he hasn't deleted me from his life and still replies every time I've spoken to him, because he is gonna come back into my life. Apparently after July he will become more stable. Hmmm,. We'll see eh.

I'm sorry you are going through this. I feel empathy. Hope all gets better over time.
