If your friend is anything like my Aunt, the way to his heart is to be a really good friend, listen to him, talk to him, be chatty and supportive. This is how my Aunt's friends are. She has a group of friends she has known since college and she is still in touch with them and they socialize together. She never married because she has a PhD and was hoping for a Doctor or someone with a PhD and never got lucky. She does have friends from college she cherishes still and sees them all the time and they mean the world to her.

Maybe the one you like is similar to how she is? Might not be the same house placings so he could be more into dating instead of those friendly social gatherings, especially if Venus falls in houses 4, 7 and perhaps 8.

Aww you sound so sweet.

I like that idea. The only thing I'd say is, because he thinks he's going out with a friend, he may not fix himself up as nicely or whatever. But I don't know if that'd be a problem or would matter to him. I just like to try to look my best when I'm with a romantic interest.

My mom and my BBF are both Aquas with Venus in Aqua conjunct their Suns. Both are romantic in a sense described above. Mom has been in love with my father for about 40 years now and never fell out of love with him. ( Her Venus conjuncts his Sun/Venus/Mercury). That's romantic. They are each other's best friend. Constantly together.

Just thought I'd say, I'm an Aqua Venus and I would totally love this!! As for the lunch part, I'm not huge on surprises in general but if it's something cute like that I would definitely appreciate the gesture...

Also, I think generally Aqua Venus isn't that complicated, we can seem aloof at first which might be unsettling to someone who wants immediate emotional reassurance, but really we just want to know we'll be compatible with someone beyond just emotions based off of physical attraction before we really open our hearts, and then we are as mushy as the rest.. at least for me. You said he's a Pisces Sun, Scorpio Moon? That is probably where the complicated is coming from, and I can't really help with that since water signs seem to be my downfall lol. Also in my experience leo mars can be generous but also a tad bit.. self centered lol so I think appealing to his Aqua Venus with any shared interests, beliefs, etc. you guys have is a good idea. Get him lost in conversation and make him see you can be his friend too not just someone to "have fun" with lol

Do you know what house his Venus is in? I think that plays a part too.. like mine is in the 8th so my need to be detached clashes with my need for intensity, and someone who knew that about me could probably use it to their advantage lol
