I was interested in astrology ever since I can remember. Since I was a kid, I always looked for the horoscope section of the newspaper.

As I grew up and the internet was more accessible, I read more about the sun sign characteristics. I couldn't really relate to some of it then eventually, I stumbled upon moon signs and other planetary placements, ascendants, etc. I realized that sun signs are just the tip of the iceberg! There was a LOT more to it. It was the first time I saw a natal chart in my life. Cafeastrology was my first go-to site, though aspects and orbs and houses absolutely made no sense before.

Then, while reading about the north node and while also seeking more knowledge about the natal chart, I stumbled upon lindaland. I learned a LOT of things here, really.

My Dad had mentioned to me many times as I was growing up that I was a 'Capricorn', and I'd always remembered that. When I was about 13 I found an old copy of Linda Goodman's 'Love Signs' that belonged to my Dad lying around the house. Once I started reading I was hooked! Ms Goodman had a real talent for characterization.

Occasionally she'd mention things like other planets and Moon signs in the various chapters. This made me curious and I started researching and learning more and more... Now I'm in my 30's and astrology is still my passion.

I've been into Astrology since I was a teenager and although I have a very analytical and logical mind I couldn't help but accept that certain Aquarian traits are true of me. Having said that, I'm not aloof (I hate that word)but I do like my independence. My boyfriend is also Aqua and he's not your typical non - committal, emotionally detached Aqua either.
