^ I love your peacemaking, Doux.  Hi goatcat, I agree with others here who note your kindness. Your occasional sharp tongue might come from being born in the Year of the Rooster? A few of the third decan Caps that I've known have sometimes acted "high and mighty," (not talking about people here or my very close German friend.) But, just to give one example, I went to school with one 3rd decan Cap like that...she scoffed at me once about something, and I brushed her off; the second time, I put the Cap daggers in my eyes and made a sharp comment right back. That must've won her respect because she was always polite to me after that. Anyway my point is 3rd decan Caps can be brusque (as a baby my friend's mother called her The Iceberg  ), but they are not unreasonable, and once they see are not a fool and you mean well, they usually warm up pretty fast.
