I'm very interested in how this placement affects people. Tell me what sign is on the cusp and what sign the sun is in.

Mine is Aquarius cusp and Sun. SN here but not conjunct sun but is conjunct cusp.

I am 69, so pretty much of my life has passed so perhaps I'm a good person for you to learn from since I've been through it all.

This placement is one that has been rough. I don't make friends easily, even though deep down inside I've always wanted friends. Here is an example:

When I was 11 or 12 I visited my aunt for a week in the city. She had so kids so I had no one to play with. I watched some girls about my age playing down the street and wished I could play with them. I walked by one day and one of them yelled out... "Hey, you want to play with us?" I very coldly told them, "No", like I couldn't be bothered. When inside I was feeling like, if I said "yes" they'd laugh and say... "We were kidding, we don't really want to play with you". So I said "no" to protect my own feelings.

Note that I have sun quincunx my moon in Cancer.

Sometimes, for some strange reason people took one look at me and disliked me when I was young. I have no clue why but maybe for some reason, my indifference showed without me knowing it.

I had two best friends... one I lost contact with as I moved away and one... I saved her life after she took 100 Xanax, and to this day she hates me for it. I guess she planned this and saved up the pills for years in order to do this. I hindered that.

And yes, I am attracted to eccentric people.

Waves!! Hi!!!

I have a Cancer Sun, Venus, Mercury, Saturn and Ceres in 11H and I am more like an Aquarius. I dress like one, think like one and behave like one. The only Cancerian about me is that I love food (have a chef's degree)and once I have let people close to me I never let them go. However, I hardly ever let anyone close to me...

This stellium falls in the Pluto decan of Cancer and my Sun, Moon (cap) and Mercury are all square Pluto so I guess you could view me as an Aquarius Sun/Scorpio Moon. That's how I behave.

Oh, I also have friends across the globe that I keep in touch with.

Should add that I don't really care what others think or say beacuse I have always been more than fine spending time with myself although it is very easy for me to find friends.

I also have my Sun in the 11th house, Aquarius, but actually I am a Capricorn on 26 degrees. When I was young I was different too than other kids. After high school I became really social and developed this aspect greatly. Right now I'm 31 and I have the best friends someone could have. My friends are even worldwide. Truth is they are all special and eccentric. I always believed that the Sun in a specific house shows which is our best quality and where we can be great. Maybe in your natal chart there is another aspect that didn't help you to develop your Sun.

I am the proud owner of an eleventh house sun in the sign Virgo and I love the eleventh house! For one thing, it helps to balance the stellium in house 12 allowing me to be a little more social than I could've been if the sun was all the way in 12. It only conjuncts the cusp, so there's that chance to shine before others, some. Society can be a good thing.

However, it is largely unaspected save a trine to Saturn in Taurus, by about one degree applying so I like to delve into profundity, or at least, try to convince myself I am from time to time.

Aries 11th house sun.
Sextile mars and sqaures Saturn

I had a lot of friends when I was younger.
Then as I got older I only had a few close friends.
I can be social but I have a hard time being close with people.
When a friendship ends cause of a falling out or we just drift apart, I take it very hard. Harder than I show.

Also Uranus is transiting my 11th house...so my groups and close friends have changed a lot.

I only have one close friend right now, I have some other friends, but we aren't close.

I can really relate to this. I have a badly afflicted 11th house Sun in Aries conjunct Chiron. It is extremely difficult to make friends - even in this forum.

I am not sure if I have any close friends in life. Just people I know and hang out with from time to time.

I come from a very harsh background and possibly one of the results from the abuse I suffered is relationship issues and can't seem to hold a commitment.

Though, I am considering some volunteer work and to give back to the community that has helped me out over the years - long after both biological parents abandoned me.

With all this Aries transit energy in my 11th, I'm not sure what to think.

At times I wish I had friends. I know inside I am such a social creature who loves spending time with other - I don't get no chances in life with people.......too busy with their own lives and their own friends and families....

I find that to be very interesting because my Chiron is quincunx my Sun in the 11th. I learned all my astrology in the 70's and 80's and we didn't do much with Chiron at the time... so I am just now discovering it.

My family life wasn't great either. I think I had ADD which they never diagnosed back then, they just called you a brat and my sisters treated me terribly. I was the family brat and no one wanted me around. As I got older and put my energy into sports I calmed down. My mind still races and I still can't sit still for long though. But I think Chiron is the culprit here for us both, but I'm going to have to research Chiron more.

I think having less friends is something everyone experiences after our teens. But you still have a very active 11th with Aries and Mars. I bet you attract friends eaaily.

I have a fairly large and tight stellium in the house of Aquarius/Uranus (11) so I think all my planets soak up the energy of that house and display that energy outwardly.

I'd still like to hear from more of you with this placement.

Actually I'd like to have more threads like this... we can learn so much more by how others react to the same placements.

You never stop learning in Astrology.

I have the same placements as Stawr, and I was apart of a lot of groups when I was younger, but didn't have a lot of friends and didn't "like" a lot of girls my age. I preferred my own company and to some extent still do. However, I relate to what Barbee is saying about approaching people or getting approached. I'm suspicious on some level during the beginning but if I sense they'll let me have my own space and it feels natural, I get more comfortable.

I tend to be able to read Aquarius' and Libras very easily! So easy that they almost can't lie to me at all, even without knowing them very long. A lot of people also tend to stare at me wherever I go even though I look normal and there's nothing that eccentric about my appearance. It always makes me uncomfortable though because, back to Barbee's example, I imagine they're judging me in their head. My mom always tells me I'm just like my father and he's an Aquarius sun too.

It's also always been a dream of mine to help the masses in some way, I think my Ariesness comes into play here because for the most part I want to help people feel better about themselves and enjoy life so that they may pass it on by treating others better.

Sun in leo in 11th house. North node in leo in 11th house too.

I make friends easily (could b due to grand trine in moon-venus-pluto) but 99% aren't close frens.
i dun trust ppl easily since young. As life progresses n few unpleasant experiences, i barely trust ppl.

I never felt i need a lot of frens. I feel self sufficient by myself. I like frens who i can trust-not many of those.

Oh my gosh, I totally relate to what all of you say!

Chiron is in my 11th, along with Saturn. I always feel judged by others, and do feel like I'm a freak in some way. It does make me very shy and nervous with people, and forget about talking in front of groups! What a nightmare.

I do enjoy a lot of "alone time," but I can take it to the extreme, which is what I've done lately. The biggest problem I have with new people is that in my past, I was heavily shunned by my peers. After awhile, I got used to it, and didn't really mind it so much. Later in my 20's, when I would run in to those people and they would be oh-so-friendly, well, I couldn't believe it. I mean, some of these people I had been in school with from Kindergarten. Now suddenly they're talking to me? Why? I couldn't understand, and still don't. We had our entire childhoods for them to talk to me, but I wasn't cool enough. Or something.

So now when I meet new people, I still can't quite figure out why they're talking to me. No one did as a kid, so why now? I'm immediately suspicious, because I'm more worried about being set up for something, rather than meeting someone new to talk to.

Yeah, this Chiron stuff in the 11th sure is rough sometimes.

Don't forget, if you are beautiful people will stare too. I had an acquaintance that was knock out gorgeous... so much so that people couldn't help but stare at her. So staring is not always a bad thing. But I can certainly relate to your feelings. I'm the same way.

I feel this too from Chiron quincunx my sun in the 11th. I recently went to my 50th high school reunion (do you believe it?) and of course there were the same cliques there and they were still stuck up and didn't even talk to me. An acquaintance I sat with said it was only because no one recognized me, but they seem to look down their noses at me. That's ok, my husband made my night because he said I was the best and youngest looking of them all. He is a keeper! I really am youthful looking and am 69 without any white hair and I don't dye it. It may be a gift from Venus conjunct my MC.

Ah! Sounds like you have the last laugh on them. Had you been to any other high school reunions? Or was this the first one? Your description makes me glad I've never been to any of mine.

yeah when I was younger I had friends on my block, even kids on the block I didn't go to school with we hung out. And friends at school not on my block I would have "play dates with"
Sometimes I wish I could go back to being friends with everyone. But that changes as we get older.

I am furious with some of my old friends right now...they are not happy that I with the guy I'm with...they all wanted me to be with their other friend. I just want them to see how ridiculous they are being. And tell them "excuse the BEEP out of me, for having free will!"
They are isolating me and talking smack.

Why does it have to be so complected!?

I have pretty features but I do not think of myself or feel beautiful. Well, it goes up and down but more down. I'm also able to get along with people and befriend them for the most part. People feel comfortable around me very quickly although I might be uncomfortable around them. I'm uncomfortable around a lot of people actually, but I didn't ever think it might be attributed to my Sun in 11th.

My Sun is in Aries in the 11th .. my NN is in Taurus but also in the 11th.

I just feel like - people are people are people...
Making friends is not something I ponder much.
What I do ponder is who out of my friends is trustworthy and reliable and who is not - but that's more my Capricorn Moon.

But yeah - there are people everywhere. We're all kind of the same deep down. I see everyone as a potential acquaintance.. and I'm generally friendly.

Hi All

I have 11th house sun and Mercury in Virgo, cusp is in Leo. I have had no problems in the past making friends at all, it's getting good friends that's the problem for me. When I join a group/club, travel or get a job, I always make friends. The people always warm to me very fast (I'm very easy going) and want to hang out. I have not been working nor hanging out in over 3 years, I've been very asocial and I love it that way. I can only hang out with my family members now. I really don't trust most people anymore now. When you're young you hang with all sorts but when you get older you get more choosy with the people and your time; I've zero patience now for drama and ******** from people and cut them from my life very fast. I like being alone now. I've been betrayed by so called friends in the past and I'm done with that. But, if someone came along and was genuine I'd be friends with them no problem. I've had a few genuine friends but they moved out of the country and after a while I lost touch with them. The friends that I've had have ether tried to use me, lied, talked behind my back, back stabbed me or were very selfish people. I don't really trust guys anymore (I used to have a lot of guy friends) because in the past they only wanted to hang with me because they were sexually/romantically attracted to me (I'm a lesbian)and when they ether got the hint that nether was going to happen or they got a girlfriend/lover, they left my life, poof. I didn't believe at first that they were attracted to me and that's why they were my friends, but when other guys told me that's why guys hang with girls, I asked them "my friends" and they said it's true on a level I don't want friends that only want to hang with me for some ulterior motive; I want them as friends for friends sake. I don't ask anything from them only their friendship and they would get mine. Well a lot of people aren't happy with just that This is just my 2 cents/pence.

My sagittarius sun and mars are in the 11th and I had many namesake friends in high school. But I've grown to become a loner. I'm not shy or reserved. I'm infact called friendly but I'm indifferent at the same time. I've never had stable lasting friendships either. Friends get boring with time and I've never got close to anyone emotionally.

Hi I have my virgo sun in house 11 as well and I agree that I did find it hard to make friends even up till now (i'm in college). I am painfully shy. Sometimes I just don't feel "good vibes" from other people. Like for some reason, I can tell straight away if I can get along with a person or not the first time I meet them. I know people, but they're more like acquaintances, I only really have 2 people that I trust, they are my best friends. I wish I had more friends, I wish I could just come out of my shell and actually interact with people but I have always been afraid of how I might come across to other people, sometimes I think that they think I am snobby, stuck up or whatever, but in reality, I'm just really shy I have my sun in virgo conjunct my chiron in virgo. Friends are the source of my pain I guess? Buuuut once you get to know me, I can be the loudest and funniest person LOL, that's why I like my saggie moon :P
