^^^ Yes I definitely know the "afflicted Mars" feeling. It's nice to know there's a couple of good things about it. Still not sure how really "good" they are and how this involves the descendant unless it has something to do with writers. I have been my own worst enemy in the past, like others with twelfth house planets, by arguing for the sake of it and it can alienate others (the self undoing thing.) Lately, I have been trying to bring my placid Libra energy out more since my luckiest planet is there. I create my own luck by being nice is Libra's message. IP: Logged |

I do experience this, especially during times when I am mentally stressed, like big time. I remember that time when I was still making our thesis paper. It was supposed to be a group effort but it ended up that I had to make all the revisions. I was so mentally exhausted that I could not even participate in picking out what to cook for dinner. My brain is too irrational and fuzzy to choose lol@Jess, I think your theory about Sun and Mars is legit, the sun being our 'ego' and vitality and mars being our driving force. Mercury may also have a hand in there too, being the planet that represents our mental capacities and our the way we think and communicate. I have Scorpio sun and mars (and pluto) conjunct in the 5th house, all trine the moon in the 9th. Mercury in Sag on the 6th, square moon and jupiter. I do have a deep reserve of power and energy but when that becomes replete.. I just tend to snap IP: Logged |

That is a good example of decision paralysis. It sounds that you completely depleted your energy resources that day that your brain refused to make another decision. I believe you are right about mercury, since it is a mental planet.Give us the drive to choose. IP: Logged |

Decision fatigue must not be mistaken with physical fatigue for the person is in fact not aware that fatigue is occurring. Here we are talking of a decline in our mental energy. In fact several effects of decision fatigue has been identified:Decision paralysis : I believe starlight was talking about her difficulty in choosing the right item when she is doing her shopping. That is also one good example of decision paralysis. The brain sees so many choices and end up refusing to make any. Impulse decisions: That is at the end of busy day,if you are a leader or a manager, you are so tired of making sound decisions that later in the day by the time you reach home your brain looks for easy short cuts and acts impulsively instead of taking time to think things through. I believe there is a third one but I can't seem to remember it IP: Logged |
