Jessica - Scorpio is supposed to be a good place for Uranus. I really feel the Libra placement in a profound way. So many planets in the chart influence my life. I can't keep track of them all! It seems like all of them are doing something! Uranus isn't really afflicted in my chart unless you consider the conjunction an affliction. I consider the conjunction with Jupiter to mean I can benefit from being different if I tried hard enough IP: Logged |

I can use Pisces in the chart to influence my look, it's on the sixth house and I have worn the cloud theme/question marks before. I definitely believe it has a strong influence just knowing how I look. I can't decide what's a stronger influence! Too many choices ! They will all work together to influence me, probably. Uranus has always given me intensity, even in art. When I took an drawing class, my teacher told me I had this emotional intensity to my work. I like to credit Uranus for it because it made everything so strange and surreal. I have had good results with this planet but I haven't used the rays of Saturn to sustain my effort like I should. I am pretty sure Uranus is exalted in Scorpio, right? Spells i*n*t*e*n*s*i*t*y and can give drawings a life of their own. I just haven't applied myself like I should because I always wondered what's the point.
Even though I don't have Uranus in Scorpio, the exaltation in Scorpio suggests this is an intense planet to have on one of the points, right? You will feel it! IP: Logged |

I am all about the out-of-this-world experience. I might as well make the most of it and go all the way with it. Why not? Right now I just do it half ass but I could really work to try harder and make the loudest statement possible. I would be like the Statue of Liberty or something and I am totally into the Libran art experience. I just need to get totally motivated and be on the look out for the unusual, even more than I do right now. I don't put myself into it enough, it's part of my problem but if I put myself into it 100% I could become electric, I am convinced.
I'm having a real hard time buying "I want a life without stares" from a Venus in Leo.
Venus ("I Love...") in Leo ("...to be seen"). Clothes are just clothes to me; they're what goes on your outsides. I don't think what's worn externally determines whether a person has an "out of the world" experience of life how you think, does; it's not as simple as what you drape on the outside, and what you put on the outside doesn't make you, anyway. It's only "half-assed" if your intent going in was to wear the loudest, most attention-grabbing thing possible. My Venus is in Virgo, so that's not my goal. I want to come in the side door quietly with no one staring at me. I don't want "All eyes on me". What makes you think all Libran, artistically-inclined individuals dress that way? lol It's possible to be artistic and not want to dress in a replica of a spaceship. I think someone gave you the wrong idea of what Libran and Uranian are. Side note : Venus rules Libra, not Uranus - Aquarius rules Uranus. Unless you're talking about Esoteric Astrology which is an entirely different form of astrology with an entirely different set of rules. I don't practice Esoteric Astrology and don't believe in its rulership system so I'm not speaking from that perspective. quote: Correcting myself: House 6 is clothes and the way you present yourself
House 6 is health and personal care in terms of hygiene. How you present yourself is the ascendant and midheaven. People wear what they like and find attractive, which to me personally is a Venus-issue, which is why I've gotta stick with my initial statements that fashion and sense of style, is Venus. Leo (lol) rules my 6th (Aquarius Sun, but no eccentric sense of style), but I have no planets in the 6th. Virgo rules my 7th. I've been told by others I have a natural sense of style which can be elegant without being too flashy. IP: Logged |

''I'm having a real hard time buying "I want a life without stares" from a Venus in Leo.''No one has asked you to ''buy'' anything that is being said on this board My Venus in Leo doesn't dress up for stares. She dresses up because she LOVES it. So, according to you which house indicates fashion and sense of style?

Probably the influence of H12 on Venus in Leo since the Libra planets are conjunct the ascendant from the shadow side and Venus sextiles these but squares Saturn, which also quincunx Mercury/Jupiter/Libra Ascendant and these quincunxes appear to be synonymous with "complex" so I have plenty about the way I look, too self conscious, not wanting attention or stares, desire to be inconspicuous but I can't get away with it so might as well go all out. It's been holding me back, probably, according to my chart since it seems to support this idea of benefiting from being different in some way so might as well use the ascendant to be so completely and utterly. I realize Uranus doesn't rule Libra but it seems to be strongly placed in my chart, on the ascendant, it conjuncts the ruler of the sun sign, Mercury, the ruler of the chart, Venus and it trines the moon! There's no quincunx to Saturn from Uranus, either, so it is looking pretty good. IP: Logged |

Oh I like non-flashy elegant I don't like flashy clothes. Personally I think Lady Gaga puts glue on her and roll over on everything that's laying around. ( No offense intended to her fans) I love elegant formal clothes so MUCH. You might be right there I believe, Virgo is my natural 6th house IP: Logged |

I've always wondered what to do with a chart that has so many aspects! It seems like life is a roller coaster ride most the time. Even Pluto which is stuck pretty far into 12 manages to conjunct Uranus but not the rest of 'em. The problem is, I have been ignoring my stellium too much, perhaps? IP: Logged |

Have a Leo Moon and do receive compliments on things I'm wearing but do agree with those who say the staring/compliments are awkward. It's a bit like having your personal space invaded by someone you don't know. For me, love vintage watches, especially the self winding Elgin's, really inexpensive but look very stylish. Also think thrift stores are great values but you really have to know what fits as even if it is a "bargain" if it fits poorly it will look bad. For me there are few things as sad as a gentleman in a ill fitting suit..sometimes they won't even remove the small stitches that keep the back flaps closed. IP: Logged |

I often receive compliments from higher-ups (in my case teachers) for dressing well. The word most commonly used is "elegant".Sun conjunct Venus in 6th House (Scorpio), also Mars in Leo. IP: Logged |
