I'm a night person who sort of hates daylight. this must be because of my 8h virgo moon which is the most aspected planet in my chart. Besides, my chart ruler is in the 12th conjunct neptune and the 12th ruler sits in my 1st. The conjunct planets trine my moon. I also have a sag stellium of sun, merc, venus, mars disposited by a scorpio unaspected jupiter. Again, very nocturnal. IP: Logged |

yes, neilthecellist! -- I feel the same way Follow that muse... Leave art for one day, and she'll leave you for three! You play the cello?.... Do you have any nocturnal pieces of music you like best? Any daylight pieces? How long have you been studying? IP: Logged |

I think what Saturnine really makes sense-- that where we are more likely to spend our waking energies in or be 'more active' is probably where the sun is in the chart. In addition, what Mirage said about the quadrants and horizons also makes sense, since it reflects the time of the day where the planets are positioned. If I'm not mistaken, the sun at the MC represents the highest point where the sun should be (noon) and the at the IC it is at its lowest (midnight). To put it simply, if you have the sun in the 4th for example, you are more likely to be 'most energetic' during or around midnight. Of course, other things also come into play like aspects to the sun and the placement of the other planets in the entire chart. I am aware that it will not be the same for everyone. What are your thoughts about this guys? P.S: @mirage- wow, I am amazed at the energy store you have! What do you think reflects that in your chart?
Lunae... Great questions-- I'm 'losing sleep' trying to solve that puzzle in my chart! (Closing in on some ideas, though!) This is a good way to focus and learn... Thanks, Lunae! IP: Logged |

A little of both. I adapt to what time I have to get up the next day? If I don't have anywhere to be, I'll be staying up until 1 AM or so, which I can't do when I have to get up early of course. Having schoolwork that needs to be finished gets me to stay up late too. A lot of Virgo/mutable for the adapting, I think. I love the sun during the day, it makes me so happy and feel alive! My sun is in Leo, so there you go. Late mornings in particular, which is when I was born - I definitely relate to that theory! But my moon is in the 4th, I also love the quiet, calm of the night. The winters with their long, dark days suck though! It really affects my mood. I become so sleepy during the day, but I don't want to miss anything. IP: Logged |

My Venus/Jupiter conjunction might have something to do with it.
I could have written this verbatim. How old are you, Doux? I wonder if my not being able to stay up as late as I used to has something to do with my age, like if there's a magic age where it happens. Natural vitamin D ftw!
