well....
i disagree with the notion that some descriptions are 'stereotypical' or that not sharing or sharing certain descriptions makes you unique....or not.

at the end of it all, the thread is on hades mooners in general....and, i dont recall anyone having a copyright or a one size fits all on how a hades mooner truly is.
all of us will have a different perspective and view as to how this aspect works within ourselves and within our environment.
there are plenty of things here that dont fit me, and...may not fit with other posters, but, at the end of it all...'different strokes for different folks'....

Astrology aside, everybody is unique. There's only one of each of us. *shrug*

And actually yeah, most descriptions of the two planets in aspect, do generalize and stereotype everybody with the placement as tortured vindictive people who were slapped around by mommy. I don't know why you're even trying to argue otherwise when you know it's true - pick up "Healing Pluto Problems", "Hades Moon", and even "Pluto : Evolution of the Soul", and get back to me. Even in astrology forums, as soon as Moon-Pluto comes up and you mention you have it people start asking you about your mother and rattling off all the personality traits they're adamant you must have, whether it's true or not.

If you don't believe me by all means feel free to go to a few other boards and start threads on Pluto Moon and get back to me with what they say. I'm a gracious winner, so I won't rub it in your face.

And your last phrase is my point exactly. We're not all the same, which is why the stereotypes and generalizations make no sense.

They're not just stereotypes and generalisations, though. The descriptions are based on something, something called a pattern.

I know quite some people with Moon/Pluto in hard aspect and I can tell you, we all have similarities. Just because you don't seem to fit the general interpretations doesn't mean that they're false or untrue.

And as you said, a conjunction is different from a square or an opposition. We can't put all the aspects together and expect them to work the same way.

I think the thing about the whole "Moon/Pluto equals crazy mom" thing is that many people with this position DO repress their true feelings about their mother. They insist she was amazing and sweet and the best mom when that is just a self-protection device from the ugly truth about the true woman she is. (I used to be one of these people) This tends to be even more likely when Neptune aspects the Moon as well.

I'm NOT saying this is always the case. Many Moon-Pluto mothers are truly amazing and positive. I always maintain that I don't know the person's mother and will never know her as well as the person does. So, it's entirely possible that she could be a great mom. But, on the other hand, it could be a lot of denial. However, I think all Moon-Pluto people are courageous diggers when it comes to the emotional truth. So, EVENTUALLY, in an effort to get to the root of their issues, those who are in the dark about their mothers will finally see the light one day. But, again, this doesn't apply to all. Just some.

Anyways...

I have Moon conjunct Pluto in Scorpio, 4 degrees.

I truly love this placement. I've grown into it over the past few years. I love the incredible inner strength that I have and feel fully confident in it. I no longer feel a need to always be in control or to engage in power games. I know I am powerful and no one can ever take that away from me. That's made my relationships a lot easier, as I am a strong and steady presence in people's lives without necessarily dominating or suffocating them.

Other things I love about being a Scorpio Moon conjunct Pluto: deep creativity, having a lot of emotional substance, sharp intuition and perceptiveness, strong magnetism, and a great ease with my sexuality.

I no longer buy into the hype. I think it's awesome being a Moon-Pluto person. The more I maintain that attitude, that I'm gifted and not cursed, the better my life is, overall.

I agree with this actually, thank you
The thing is that I accepted my mom as she is. she is not the perfect mom, she has her own problems. the way i decided to use this aspect is to understand her dark past that made her the way she is and also chose the positive sides of this aspect which is more positive than negative. it takes years to grow from it but once you get there, it's like a light bulb moment. it is a very good aspect to have, i really like it.

Yes this, I believed for 30 years that my mom was awesome and cared for me then something happened to where my eyes were opened to the monstrosities. I was protecting myself, more than her when I believed falsities. I mean sure, these moms can have their great points just as we remembered, but with this aspect, there are deeper/darker truths that one can keep secret all their lives and be just fine.
