It probably depends. My mom likes to wear her jeans tight to make the little boys come undone, but it's not so much a showing off (though there is that, too, Leo ascendant & Leo Mars) but her ability to control, which I think comes more from Scorpio. I think if she were a guy she'd go about showing off and establishing control in a very different way that didn't involve her (er, "his" in this hypothetical case) body. I have a Leo ascendant as well but I'm not an exhibitionist when it comes to showing off (if I want to show off my body I'll use clothes, and if I want to be sexy I'll tease and/or insinuate with clothes and might even come off as prudish in doing so depending on whoever I'm trying to impress, which can be sexy if done right). But neither am I shy. I sauna naked (that includes with naked men, btw), I've shocked more than one person in taking off my clothes for a skinny dip, and I've gone "skyclad" to Wiccan rituals in the buff with men & women, and feel no more weird than showering at the gym with others around. I would guess that my shrugging off nudity (my own and others) comes from so much Libra on the Scorpio cusp & Sag influences on mind & body as well as certain aspects of my growing up. IP: Logged |

I heard mention in this thread of Venus/Asc. aspects but Mars/Asc.? Wouldn't that make a person more assertive, independent, and "loud" (by that I don't mean volume)? ------------------

I wish I could be this way. I'm very much the opposite. I feel horrible about my body and very ashamed of it. Something always needs to be fixed. I'm extremely flawed and feel disgusting about my shape and weight. I hate the curviness of my figure. I hate my outer self but like my inner self so it's a battle every day. I'm just being honest. I really envy people who appreciate their bodies or make peace w/ them.If anyone is wondering I have Saturn-ASC and Chiron-ASC and there's Virgo influences too. It's from that. IP: Logged |

Yup. I do. I have Moon-Saturn. I have Saturn-ASC...Saturn-Venus. I feel best with a very slim and board-like body. I'm very unhappy right now. I want to be slim and toned. I thought I made my point in my post?It was that the people I know who are very comfortable in their own skin don't have Saturn/Chiron hard aspects to their Venus.So I became curious and decided to ask you guys if any of you have these afflictions.  And your Mars conjunction probably helps with your confidence. @sweet-scorpion I know what you mean. i have Aries ASC trine venus almost exact (in scorpio conjunct pluto) and a loose sextile saturn (in aquarius)i have mars in sagittarius too yea. i definately like my body lol its toned without trying hard for it and its curvy (: IP: Logged |
