So how does Mr shirtless Jupiter work for me? I suppose with the trine, he doesn't want to shock me much.

sweet-scorpion,

Oh, how I feel you..
I can relate so, so much.
We have similar placements, and trust me, I know exactly what you mean.
I don't like my curves either, and I'd love to be more skinny / athletic. Right now I'm considered "normal" - not overweight, but I still can't look at myself in the mirror and feel happy about my body. I've had eating disorders, too. It's over now, but the body image is still pretty much the same. I empathize I know how hard it is.

Ps. If you wanna talk, you can always e-mail me.

Maybe he won’t force you to do it. Power of trine is underestimated though, lot of serial killers have trines rather than hard aspects, it depends upon other factors as well I guess.

I have Jupiter right on the ascending degree and I am not particularly into exhibitionism but it does conjunct from the darker side of the ascendant so maybe that's why?

Actually, I don't view being an exhibitionist as something to be proud of. There is a difference between liking yourself and exposing yourself.

Jupiter trine my ASC gives me a good sense of self appreciation. That's all. I don't need the public eye on my body to know am good looking.

Well let's just say someone is a stripper or something like that. I don't judge them if they are are happy with that, more power to them. It doesn't necessarily bother me. Exposing oneself in public is inconsiderate though. It has to be in the right place imo and others should be taken into consideration. I do not begrudge people their nude beaches.

I have always loved my body and I do like show it off. I have always thought that it`s my very well-aspected Neptune in second house making my self-worth delusionally high.

But I do have very tight Jupiter-Asc-Venus configuration in my chart Jupiter being chart ruler and my singelton Venus is also strong so maybe it is it and Neptune doesn`t play any role at all.

I have a second house Neptune too and feel like it messes with my self worth some. Our relationship is complicated!

Aw, sweetie, you're welcome.. I miss us talking, too. Hope to hear from you soon! x

Goatcat,

Well, for me personally, it's not about the "curves" per se, it's more about the fat itself, it bothers me. And I like lean bodies, it's just a matter of preference.

Its not its just small or slim.
It looks lumpy and most importantly is disportionate from the rest of her body.
I assume bad photoshopping is the true culprit, It just does not look right...

Maybe your thighs are better portioned with the rest of your body and not photoshopped. .

Probably different reasons. American white girls especially tend to put a huge importance on weight, especially in their teens. I can see how trying to gain control over one's morphing body would seem appealing, too, and there is a theory that anorexia is an attempt to gain control over at least one thing in a girl's life, her own body (and more boys are getting eating disorders, too). So in this case she may not look at all feminine but it's still a badge of pride, probably similar to what a mountain climber feels upon reaching the top, and the more s/he suffered for it, the better one feels about one's self.

I don't think that theory fits all, however. I've known too many with eating disorders who also did drugs (not so much with the control there...) and also mutilated themselves with cutting & burning, so I think in their case it's self-hatred, or at least self-harming.
