For me a very attractive type of man is an assertive and strong one. One who believes in himself and his ideas even when others don't. I'm not into men that you have to nurture constantly because they are so unsure. Not that nurturing is a wrong thing, I find it's very loving and I like a little cuddling and all, but only when it's reciprocated because when it becomes too demanding it can make you feel as if your attentions are not enough. If that was the case of a close friend or a family member, I'd be more than willing to help build their confidence, but that must be a straining trait when it's a life partner's (in my opinion). I have Sun (in Virgo) tightly conjunct Mercury and trine Mars (in Capricorn). It's also opposite Jupiter, and for me a sense of humour is also important. I like a brilliant self-confident man. Sun square Saturn Sun square Uranus Sun loosely trine Neptune Sun trine AC Sun trine MC and I'm definitely attracted to men that I admire for their career. For example, hardworking men who have been able to pave their own way with honors in a specific field. IP: Logged |

I was thinking about this a while ago. The Sun is about our father and the man who we choose and attracts like you wrote.Sun trine moon He will show you respect and delicacy. Sun square Jupiter He will solve your problems, "magically". Sun sextile Neptune Intuitive, spiritual and perceptive man. Very important emotional and psychic experiences. And I also have Sun conjunct Saturn but I'm not sure what that means... Maybe, a mature and very loyal man?. I still didn't have a "really important love" but I was attracted(and so do they) to guys with great influence of Uranus and Sagittarius-Gemini... So that was for Sun square Jupiter? Ha. IP: Logged |

Sun oppose Uranus and Jupiter in Aqua, plus Sun trine Pluto in Sag...So like.. people who are against social norms and are quite powerful? Mmm, not really, I don't think. I've only attracted two men with Uranian qualities, no one with Jupiter or Pluto influences. They were both Aries. Most of the other ones I've attracted have Pisces qualities (not really a fan of it) and Libra qualities. Although, my first boyfriend was an Aqua, he acted more like a Libra. My Mars is in Libra, btw. IP: Logged |

Sun (Libra 6) conj ASC (Virgo 29) Sun decile Moon (Scorpio) Sun conj Pluto (Libra) Sun square Saturn (Cancer) Sun trine Jupiter (Aquarius) Sun sextile Neptune (Sag) Sun inconjunct Mars (Taurus)Mars in Taurus in 8th 7th Ruler (Neptune 29 Pisces) Neptune in 3rd in Sag Mars in 8th inconjunct Sun in 1st Mars sextile Saturn in 10th Mars opposite Moon in 2nd I tend to attract Virgo, Gemini & Libra dudes with Aquarius, Virgo, Gemini or late Libra rising. Typically, they're earthy, athletic, intelligent/articulate, intense, creative and humorous. Usually, they have planetary overlays in 1st, 2nd, 5th and 8th. Almost always with Mars aspects to their Sun (as well as Pluto aspects to their Moon/Venus) I have Sun conj Pluto and Moon and Venus in Scorpio. Usually, they've got some Venus influence (planets in Libra or Taurus and hopefully, they usually also have Jupiter aspects to their sun. VERY stron Mercury & some Uranian aspects too...Uranus rules my 5th and is in Libra in my 1st conjunct Mercury and my Sun/Moon MP. Wooh! IP: Logged |

What about someone with an unaspected sun, like me? The only aspect is opposite to chiron.I thought it was more Mars related? I have a 12th house Mars and all of the men have been Neptunian, generally having Neptune square their personal planets. IP: Logged |

It's true for me. My Sun conjuncts Mars and squares Neptune - I like tough, disciplined guys which are capable to dream and fantasize with me. IP: Logged |

my sun is conj mars/merc square Uranus square Neptune square Saturn square Jupiter closely parallel plutoruler of my sun venus (libra) is in scorpio conj pluto conj DC trine Jupiter semisquare Uranus lately.. probably the last 3 guys I dated or am seeing were Aries. my longest relationship of 4 1/2 years was with a guy who was born 12 hours before me, so he def had a strong mars.. and similar chart pattern as me obviously. I seem to attract very strong, and dominating guys. sometimes (most times) they tend to have a wild streak and are rather selfish/temperamental. if I do attract more sensitive, emotional guys that have dominant Neptune or pisces I usually end up just barreling over them unfortunately. so although I'm drawn to Neptune It doesn't seem to work out in my relationship sphere. I'm too intense. I could also see since I have my sun square Saturn that the guys I date have "daddy issues" for sure, and I can also relate to mercury RX and being with guys who are not very expressive and rather quit/secretive. -but ive had 2 recent relationships with guys who were opposite, life of the party types who don't shut up and very strong Neptune influence/solar IP: Logged |

Wow! Yes!my aspects are: Sun conjunct Chiron in Taurus Square Mars in Leo Opp Uranus in Scorpio Sextile Jupiter in cancer I feel like my sun aspects show both the r/ships I've had and how I've matured from going for outward characteristics - the signs as the setting - to a more refined energy. Edited out the extraneous as I'd have to get into details of the r/ships for it to make sense. But it does feel like a fingerprint of those I've been involved in, there IP: Logged |

It's not only the Sun but Mars as well. The aspects that Mars makes will also hint to what men she attracts. IP: Logged |

Yes for me.Sun square Neptune Sun square Saturn Sun conjunct Mercury Sun conjunct Venus Sun sextile Mars I get a lot of guys who promise more than they deliver, or who are boring. They talk about themselves a lot (Sun / Mercury manifestation, one of them anyway) or are more passive (Sun / Neptune + Sun / Venus) Oh, gay guys galore. I like Pisces people so far really, and it makes sense because a) they can fit with anyone, b) they're usually just the right amount of sarcastic, and also extremely intelligent and gentle. Plus, I have more Neptune aspects than anything. IP: Logged |

My Sun would be called peregrine by a lot of astrologers, and if we take the concept of peregrination and the associations therewith seriously for a moment, it makes sense in terms of the men I attract... larger than life and totally bonkers... I mean... unpredictable. Power tripping. Isolated. Un-self-aware. Over compensating... Talented. Genius. Over the top. Incredible. Special. Locally famous. Etc. Many of them. But my Sun is semisquare my Moon, tightly sesquisquare my Chiron (!! Didn't actually pay much attention to this one before but I know semi and sesquisquares are huge in their implications, because of the consequent midpoint activation, etc).. and widely conjunct Pluto, by 8 degrees. It is also binovile Juno, very tight, and sextile Ceres by 4 degrees. The men I attract often have a certain amount of dissonance between their feminine and masculine sides, a creative tension which never exactly resolves... semisquare Moon They are sometimes gifted healers who are unaware of their own power, their ego prevents them from seeing it. Or they are aware, and use it to great effect at times. (Sesquisquare Chiron) They are often manipulative, dark, power hungry, and Plutonian... (conjunct Pluto)... with an acute awareness of the dark side, sometimes they're revelers in it, sometimes otherwise. The level.of Plutonian awareness has varied greatly. Sextile Ceres... yeah, they are usually in dynamic relationships with their mothers, often are fond of food and creative with it, and a few of them have been very very in tune with mother earth... Binovile Juno... they do tend to be relationship oriented, and I guess this denotes the feeling of completion.and devotion as well.as the themes of needing to assert power or be self sacrificial in relationships, a common theme also. Just read your post. See my reply regarding peregrination (no major aspects to my Sun). I am personally able to embrace the idea of peregrine planets' significance, as well as the subtones created by midpoints and non Ptolemaic aspects. The men in my life have definitely been 'peregrine' types.... a vagabond/train hopper and tree sitting environmental activist, an eccentric artist/musician/band leader, another traveler/hippie/Rainbow warrior type guy, and presently, a musician who is quite well known in our town for his eccentricity and unique character/air of mystery/gravitas/ability/sense of humour... lol ok I like him... whatever Please don't quote the above paragraph! Point is, there is definitely a common thread between the men I've attracted, and my Sun definitely describes them. This is fairly basic astrology, but easy to forget and fascinating to learn and re-remember and deepen into... thanks for the thread! It's amazing how many directions and meanings one can glean, from one symbol's aspects... they impact so many areas and describe them so succinctly... like one midpoint picture, you can write PAGES about it, and still come up short on all it's implications.. oh, life... The big non major aspect to my sun is opposite Chiron, which isn't so good. I feel a lot of pain regarding men, like all of the ones in my life have hurt me. The theme I have notice with all of them is that they all have had Neptune squaring personal planets. I have Mars in the 12th. IP: Logged |

<3 Sun opposite Chiron can be very healing eventually, you might find that as you evolve info awareness of your Mars nature and Chiron also that the awareness and kindness and goodness of the men in.your life also improves. Like I said about a single symbol having multiple meanings, the same symbol or aspect pattern evolves over the course of your personal evolution/life... changes and reveals different layers. You could look at aspects to your progressed Sun to predict how these changes might look. Chiron represents the gateway through pain to love.. it would be good to do some in depth reading about Chiron, and open to the vibrations of love and healing inherent in the pain. It's always there. When we learn to see the wound as a doorway, as a blessing even, then we can really begin to heal... through gratitude. I'm speaking from experience, not trying to minimize pain, I've had a lot of pain from men and others also... but I have truly found that gratitude for everything that has happened empowers me to heal. It puts the reins back in my hands and allows me not to dwell on regret or bitterness... IP: Logged |
