In a book "The art of predictive astrology: forecasting your life events" written by Carol Rushman i found this sentence

So with my Sun conjunct Venus in Sagittarius
(both sun and venus are in sag)

Never heard of it, but sounds interesting. What I'm sure of is that Sun and Mars reveal the type of man you 're seeking. Same goes for Moon and Venus on men.------------------

I just have Saturn conjunct Sag Sun and I can see that I go for a very serious type of guy and a guy who is serious about his studies (Sag). I hadn't realized that was why. I had read that sun and Mars play a role in who we are attracted to and I saw the Mars part but not that Sag sun part. This might explain why. IP: Logged |

Sun widely square Saturn - I attract guys with daddy issues  Sun conjunct Mercury Rx - they're not very communicative and keep a lot to themselves (which gets on my nerves btw) Sun sextile Uranus & Neptune - err.. freedom-loving and humanitarian? or just delusional commitment-phobics, ha ha..

Sun square Saturn (tight) my boyfriend has daddy issues too and I do as well. XD they are both similar Sun opposite Neptune, tend to be Pisces Moons, dreamy and illusive men, sometimes whiny Sun square Jupiter - a lil more optimistic than me Sun square Ascendant - trys to change me Sun conjunct DSC - the dominate one in the relationship

Not Sag men but you'll attract very smart men, funny guys, big guys (doesn't mean you'll like them back but I'm just saying what type of guy will LIKE YOU based on your Sun's aspects) ethical guys! party animals, guys who increase your luck. guys who have graduated college or teach! My Capricorn Sun squares my Scorpio Moon, my Scorpio Saturn and my Libra Pluto... and conjuncts my Aquarius Venus. If my fate is with Scorpio guys I can jump off the roof right now lol! I am mostly attracted to men with Virgo on their chart, even my friends have Virgo on their charts, and I think that Vertex does all the magic for attraction... a karmic one!------------------

Cap sun conjunt Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Sextile Pluto in Scorpio and trine Virgo ASC. Plus Mars in Taurus with a few aspects too. This is too complicated  ------------------

Sun in Virgo with a very wide square to Mars (which sometimes doesn't even count) and a close trine to Saturn in Taurus and it also does some small time jitterbug with Jupiter, a semi sextile, I think? It's a little disturbing to think of what a Virgo sun trine Saturn would bring. Melancholy, dull, hyper critical, exacting, and just too gripey. Moody and sorta sour, too. IP: Logged |

Let's see....my Sun is conjunct Venus, Mercury, Saturn, Ceres....trine Uranus in Scorpio and Part of Fortune in Pisces....sextile Mars and Juno in Virgo.....sextile Jupiter and Chiron in Taurus....sextile Moon in Capricorn........Hmmm.....yes...this pretty much describes how I've been going about it.... I have noticed this. But the dispositor too is important.7h in leo, sun in sagittarius conjunct venus/mars.
Jupiter in scorpio. I don't attract sagittarian sun sign men but i do attract men with sagittarian qualities. Eg- of different nationality. My partner has sun conjunct jupiter(sag link) in taurus(venus link and opp. to sign of scorpio) square mars (mars link). All my partners have a planet in libra/taurus. Mars....every guy i have been with has trouble with anger management and a prominent mars. The first had mars/sun/pluto conjunct in scorpio. Another had mars opp uranus. mars square moon. Mars square sun. Sign wise, all except for two had nothing in aries. Though they compensated with libra/cap and cap/cancer/libra. The dispositor of my sun is jupiter. ..... the most important boys in my life were scorpios. This time i'm with a taurean. IP: Logged |

Sometimes it's the house their Mars is in.

Yeah, I attract, much more than Saturn and Uranus type-Venus type. 7th ruler-Mars is conjunct with Venus in 11th house.and i lack Venus energy in my chart (i have only Libra ASC) IP: Logged |

Guys that have liked/loved me were, :Gemini: , :Cancers: ,  ,:Scorpios:, :Aqaurius: , :Taurus: and :Leos:.
Ummmmmm.....Well then, I don't know how to interpret this. Let's see, I've dated guys that were insecure couldn't really express themselves fully until I cam along, were too caught up in things, were just so ******* unnerving at times, all were so emotional, all of them were impulsive...all of them had some emotional deep issue...all were twisted in some way
A qoute about the men in my life said by my best friend is, "When a guy is into you...he's really into you...like obsessed into you, lol, it's like you cant get away. Is this why you try to repel them?"

REALLY important question here... as this has been bugging me for ages. What happens if you have ZERO aspects [major] to your Sun?Mine is in Libra, house 10. No major aspects. I'm confused about what this means for me and attracting partners. Minor include semi-sextile Pluto H12, quintile Mars H8, quindecile Uranus-Neptune. The sun is doing all kinds of crazy stuff in my chart xD =crazy men? lol jk Sun conjunct mercury (8d) - They never shut up.
Sun Square Saturn- Yup daddy issues.
Sun sextile pluto - hmm.. no idea actually. passionate? almost overly sexual?
Sun trine neptune - romantic, imaginative, all have some sort of spirituality
Sun trine mars - determined and ambitious. easy to make grumpy.
Sun square moon - mother/family issues (maybe between this and saturn is the reason most guys i have been with have some really bad parent issues xD), moody and really irrational once in a while (like male pms? haha) Sun in 3rd house.

I usually attract the guys whom I don't feel anything for and I am attracted to the guys I can't have. Lol  Sun conjunct mars- no wonder I have a soft spot or Aries guys. It's funny that this year, I'm attracting a lot of Aries guys in my life. Sun conjunct Pluto- I like smart, mysterious guys. Sun square Midheaven (Aquarius)Can anyone shed some light on this? From what I’ve noticed I attract a lot of Sagittarius (7H cusp). I’m still young but I’ve noticed I impose a kind of stern no-nonsense impression on men (more accurately boys). Even the most self-confident chest-beaters are intimidated by me and they don’t dare come on to me or tease me playfully. This makes me feel like I don’t really attract anyone since I’m unapproachable and most times I make the first move. As for Sagittarius I say this because:
First boyfriend – All personal planets were in Sagittarius
Second boyfriend – Sagittarius Sun and Mercury
Third boyfriend – Sagittarius Moon
