With Saturn there - you probably always felt a form of oppression, like - you have to prove that you're worth something - and you're not here just for the sake of being.

From what i noticed - while talking with others about Saturn, there's always a sense of "Oppression" in the House where Saturn falls.

Brilliant deduction 7th. I can see the poet in you

Friends come and go in my life mostly because I feel I "outgrow" them. I do have a handful that I keep in touch with but only on my terms ie when in the mood.

I have many acquaintances around the world that I sometimes go and visit just to get away but I wouldn't call them friends.

In all my life I have lived "inside my mind" which is probably due to being HEAVILY Mercury afflicted in all charts and Mercury is also my ruler in all charts.

I feel as if my mind is the "price" I would share with someone that deserves it and the facade they can have anytime of the day....and with that I guess I mean that although physically present among people I am mentally not.

Of my friends, one is older an the rest are younger.

Oh. For the Natal Chart; Saturn is opposite a Cappy Moon.

Do you feel like you are on the outside looking in with friends

I have Saturn in the 11th myself and Doux's description is spot on, never seen anyone describe the placement better.

I do have dreams, but I just kind of try to accept that most of them will never come true, and actually even somewhat repress them at times.

However, the more I think of the self esteem angle, it does not feel right.

The 2nd house is also self-worth, so to me, self-esteem makes sense here.

Yes. Whether this is my own doing or theirs I have no idea. But ultimately I am fairly sure I project a "don't come to close to me..."

lol The 1st house saying "Here I am" is never superficial. It sets the pace for the rest of the chart.

I think Saturn in my 11th house, along with my Venus conjunct him is difficult enough.
To make matters worse, it is in the sign Pisces.
I want to go specific first. This saturn sign makes me want to pull my hair out, I feel so stressed. It is the drive to why I am so idealistic, my moon in Gemini squaring my saturn isn't helping this either. I get my hopes up to high when it comes to friendships and most of them crash and burn even before they start. I always end up getting back stabbed! One way or the other, the truth always comes up. I feel so insecure because of this (an affect of Venus Saturn conjunct), so I find it hard to make actually friends.
I am constantly tortured and not taken seriously in friendships, and i hate it!
With my pluto in my 7th house, I find it works well with the nature of Saturn in the 11th house. I do better in small groups of select friends, and I love loyalty in a friendship. But I feel like there is too much power play in them.

I say people with Saturn in the 11th house are true gems that people should be friends with. I notice that others with this placement, are never taken as serious as they should be. They are rarely given help from their so called friends. Something that i noticed is that they do the mistake of trying to seclude themselves, when they shouldn't. I feel like it doesn't matter how muc people will judge you as you trying and go around to make new friends, you should take the chance to find real friends instead of waiting them to come to you.

Ami, my dad has Saturn in the 2nd house just as you! With dealing in the material world, he has been a slave to working rather than being without it.

Saturn in 2nd would mean difficulties and obstacles in earning your own money but if your family is well do, then you will not notice Saturn's restricton in that regard. It only applies if you have to take care of your income yourself.
Saturn in 2nd does make one quite stingy with money ( too careful with money), the native does not like to share their stuff with other ppl, this trend can be shown even in early childhood; they usualy meet opposition from family members and do not accept critisism very well, because of doubts about their own worth. There could be a lack of leadership qualities since the native does not like to be the center of everybody's attwntion and is afraid of critiques.
The Saturn aspects would tell more.

I have Saturn in the 3rd as well and wow, this is exactly how it's been like for me! I'd get blackouts during exams from anxiety, even though I'd studied well, and I had the bad luck of always being asked that one answer I didn't know, making me look bad. Have you had trouble communicating as well? I had to do everything alone as a child, no older sister/brother to guide me through social life, a mother who tried but I didn't know how to apply her advice, dad was mostly interested in making me live up to his ideal of "normal" (Uranus is in my 3rd as well).

Saturn is actually on my IC, so I relate to Saturn in the 4th too. As mentioned, my dad, he used to have a very quick and bad temper and blow up over literally anything I did - when it wasn't exactly how he wanted it, he'd argue with me (often in public too, so humiliating!). Cold as it sounds, I can say I didn't have a role model growing up and my dad certainly wasn't the dad I needed.

I also have a lot of trouble finding a place of my own, I've been looking for three years. My budget is tight, I can only afford something I rent, and the places I've been interested in have long waiting lists.

I have Saturn in Scorpio in the 12th, and I could see why Got Gemini? would say that he (she?) doesn't notice the placement. I would say that by and large, I don't notice the placement either UNTIL it is triggered by a transit or progression. Mostly to me, it feels like it is a giant blind spot in my own personality that I don't notice until something happens (triggers it) and I see the repercussions of it. Also, I feel like it is a 'hiding' of inner hurt/pain. When it is triggered, all of this hidden hurt/pain comes to the surface and all of a sudden I have to deal with it. It is NOT like Chiron in the fact that this seems to be something that I can usually deal with and resolve over time, once I realize it's there. Currently I have transiting Saturn running through my 12th, so I'm dealing with this A LOT right now. I am working on vulnerability and trying to heal a lot of my own hidden hurt by revealing the truth to the people I think I can trust.

Oh yeah... 12H, hidden enemies - oppression coming from a hidden force (my previous description was more Pisces like - than 12'h like).

I agree that 2nd house is self worth & self esteem...which ever way you want to spin it, it can actually go hand in hand. Materials possessions can give people a sense of self esteem or worth like the girl who is a name brand label ***** to the person who is depressed because Taurus rules the second house & they have not accumulated anything so far.

Saturn is retrograde in leo in my fourth house. I was the first born and like the try out kid. What didn't work with me as far as discipline wasn't tried out on my siblings. Very strict parents and we moved often due to my father being in the military. My mother is not from the states. Because I was deemed the pretty one and my sister the smart one, I wasn't afforded the same liberties as her because they were afraid that I would become prey. ((Shrugs shoulders)). I left home at the age of 16...couldn't take being smothered any longer and the unfair treatment.

Saturn in the 5th. I don't plan to have children, I have depression tendencies, I'm not interested in flings and I've never dated. I used to party when I was a teenager but it seems like I lost interest. For some time now I've had a desire to express myself in some artistic way but I'm not sure what to do about it and if that makes any sense...

on a really bad day I feel like I'm truly an invalid human being lol. I know that life is a lot harder for me than it is for the average person. The annoying thing about.all this is you have nobody to vent to because they'll inevitably say "everyone has trouble". Yes all people have times of stress and trouble, but 12th house saturn makes this a constant reality. Sometimes I think I've already died and I'm in hell.

I think the 5th is one of the hardest. That is just my opinion and we each have opinions on this. For me, my ability to play and have fun has stood me very well, in light of a hard childhood.

Saturn will allow you rewards in later years, if you stick with it, dear Friend

I'll try Do you think Saturn in this position can make one obsessed with art and creating? It conjuncts my Venus widely btw. Contact with art lightens up my life, I think it always has, but my appreciation and this need to contribute are getting stronger and stronger.

Ummm--Yes, saturn makes one obsessed with what it conjuncts. That is for sure. I never thought of obsession by house, but it makes sense.

I was obsessed with making it in the world, on my own, not needing finances from someone else. I never felt I was a monetary success, on my own, until now. so saturn rewards one later in life if one sticks to it by hard work and determination.

Yes, i think one can be obsessed when Saturn resides in a house. For you, I think you could be obsessed with creativity but go for it, as Saturn rewards hard work. Wonderful insight and thank you! xx
